¹ Lord, The word translated “Lord” is “Adonai.” you have been our dwelling place for all generations.

¹صلاة لموسى رجل الله‎. ‎يا رب ملجأ كنت لنا في دور فدور‎.

²Before the mountains were brought forth, before you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.

²‎من قبل ان تولد الجبال او أبدأت الارض والمسكونة منذ الازل الى الابد انت الله‎.

³You turn man to destruction, saying, “Return, you children of men.”

³‎ترجع الانسان الى الغبار وتقول ارجعوا يا بني آدم‎.

⁴For a thousand years in your sight are just like yesterday when it is past, like a watch in the night.

⁴‎لان الف سنة في عينيك مثل يوم امس بعدما عبر وكهزيع من الليل‎.

⁵You sweep them away as they sleep. In the morning they sprout like new grass.

⁵‎جرفتهم. كسنة يكونون. بالغداة كعشب يزول‎.

⁶In the morning it sprouts and springs up. By evening, it is withered and dry.

⁶‎بالغداة يزهر فيزول. عند المساء يجزّ فييبس

⁷For we are consumed in your anger. We are troubled in your wrath.

⁷لاننا قد فنينا بسخطك وبغضبك ارتعبنا‎.

⁸You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.

⁸‎قد جعلت آثامنا امامك خفياتنا في ضوء وجهك‏‎.

⁹For all our days have passed away in your wrath. We bring our years to an end as a sigh.

⁹‎لان كل ايامنا قد انقضت برجزك. افنينا سنينا كقصة‎.

¹⁰The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away.

¹⁰‎ايام سنينا هي سبعون سنة. وان كانت مع القوة فثمانون سنة وافخرها تعب وبلية. لانها تقرض سريعا فنطير‎.

¹¹Who knows the power of your anger, your wrath according to the fear that is due to you?

¹¹‎من يعرف قوة غضبك. وكخوفك سخطك‎.

¹²So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

¹²‎احصاء ايامنا هكذا علمنا فنؤتى قلب حكمة

¹³Relent, Yahweh! “Yahweh” is God’s proper Name, sometimes rendered “LORD” (all caps) in other translations. How long? Have compassion on your servants!

¹³ارجع يا رب. حتى متى. وترأف على عبيدك‎.

¹⁴Satisfy us in the morning with your loving kindness, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

¹⁴‎اشبعنا بالغداة من رحمتك فنبتهج ونفرح كل ايامنا‎.

¹⁵Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen evil.

¹⁵‎فرحنا كالايام التي فيها اذللتنا كالسنين التي رأينا فيها شرا

¹⁶Let your work appear to your servants; your glory to their children.

¹⁶ليظهر فعلك لعبيدك وجلالك لبنيهم‎.

¹⁷Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands.

¹⁷‎ولتكن نعمة الرب الهنا علينا وعمل ايدينا ثبت علينا وعمل ايدينا ثبته
