¹Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand,

¹ای برادران، اکنون می خواهم مژده ای را که قبلاً به شما اعلام کرده بودم و شما قبول نمودید و در آن پایدار هستید، به یاد شما بیاورم.

²by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

²اگر در آن محکم باشید به وسیلۀ آن نجات می یابید، مگر اینکه ایمان شما واقعی نباشد.

³For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

³آنچه را که به من رسیده بود، یعنی مهمترین حقایق انجیل را به شما سپردم و آن اینست که مطابق پیشگویی های تورات و نوشته های انبیاء، مسیح برای گناهان ما مُرد

⁴that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

⁴و دفن شد و نیز مطابق نوشته ها در روز سوم زنده گشت

⁵and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

⁵و بعد خود را به پِترُس و سپس به آن دوازده حواری ظاهر ساخت

⁶Then he appeared to over five hundred brothers at once, most of whom remain until now, but some have also fallen asleep.

⁶و یک بار هم به بیش از پنجصد نفر از برادران ما ظاهر شد که بسیاری آن ها تا امروز زنده اند ولی بعضی مرده اند.

⁷Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,

⁷بعد از آن یعقوب و سپس تمام رسولان او را دیدند.

⁸and last of all, as to the child born at the wrong time, he appeared to me also.

⁸آخر همه، خود را به من که در برابر آن ها طفلی نارس بودم، ظاهر ساخت؛

⁹For I am the least of the apostles, who is not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the assembly of God.

⁹زیرا من از تمام رسولان او کمتر هستم و حتی شایستگی آن را ندارم که رسول خوانده شوم، چون بر کلیسای خدا جفا می رسانیدم.

¹⁰But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was bestowed on me was not futile, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

¹⁰اما به وسیلۀ فیض خدا آنچه امروز هستم، هستم و فیضی که او نصیب من گردانید، بی فایده نبود؛ زیرا من از همۀ ایشان بیشتر زحمت کشیدم. گرچه واقعاً من نبودم؛ بلکه فیض خدا بود که با من کار می کرد.

¹¹Whether then it is I or they, so we preach, and so you believed.

¹¹به هر حال خواه من بیشتر زحمت کشیده باشم، خواه ایشان، تفاوتی ندارد، زیرا این است آنچه همۀ ما اعلام می کنیم و شما نیز به این ایمان آورده اید.

¹²Now if Christ is preached, that he has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

¹²پس اگر مژده ای را که ما اعلام می کنیم، این باشد که مسیح پس از مرگ زنده شد، چگونه بعضی از شما می توانید ادعا کنید که قیامت مردگان وجود ندارد؟

¹³But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised.

¹³اگر قیامت مردگان وجود نداشته باشد، پس مسیح هم زنده نشده است!

¹⁴If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith also is in vain.

¹⁴و اگر مسیح زنده نشده باشد، هم بشارت ما بی فایده است و هم ایمان شما!

¹⁵Yes, we are found false witnesses of God, because we testified about God that he raised up Christ, whom he didn’t raise up, if it is so that the dead are not raised.

¹⁵وقتی گفتیم که خدا مسیح را زنده ساخته است، در صورتی که زنده شدن مردگان درست نباشد، نسبت به خدا شهادت دروغ داده ایم.

¹⁶For if the dead aren’t raised, neither has Christ been raised.

¹⁶زیرا اگر مردگان زنده نمی شوند، مسیح هم زنده نشده است

¹⁷If Christ has not been raised, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins.

¹⁷و اگر مسیح زنده نشده است، ایمان شما بیهوده است و شما هنوز در گناهان خود هستید.

¹⁸Then they also who are fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

¹⁸از آن گذشته ایماندارانی هم که مرده اند، باید هلاک شده باشند!

¹⁹If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most pitiable.

¹⁹اگر امید ما به مسیح فقط مربوط به این زندگی باشد، از تمام مردم بدبخت تر هستیم!

²⁰But now Christ has been raised from the dead. He became the first fruits of those who are asleep.

²⁰اما در حقیقت مسیح پس از مرگ زنده شد و اولین کسی است که از میان مردگان برخاسته است.

²¹For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man.

²¹زیرا چنانکه مرگ به وسیلۀ یک انسان آمد، همان طور قیامت از مردگان نیز به وسیلۀ یک انسان دیگر فرا رسید.

²²For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

²²و همان طور که همۀ آدمیان بخاطر همبستگی با آدم می میرند، تمام کسانی که در پیوستگی با مسیح هستند، زنده خواهند شد.

²³But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then those who are Christ’s, at his coming.

²³اما هر کس به نوبت خود زنده می شود: اول مسیح و بعد در وقت آمدن او آنانی که متعلق به او هستند.

²⁴Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the Kingdom to God, even the Father; when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power.

²⁴پس از آن پایان کار خواهد رسید و مسیح تمام فرمانروایان و قوت ها و قدرت ها را برانداخته و پادشاهی را به خدای پدر خواهد سپرد.

²⁵For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

²⁵زیرا تا آن زمانی که خدا همۀ دشمنان را زیر پای مسیح نگذارد او باید به سلطنت خود ادامه دهد.

²⁶The last enemy that will be abolished is death.

²⁶آخرین دشمنی که بر انداخته می شود، مرگ است.

²⁷For, “He put all things in subjection under his feet.” Psalm 8:6 But when he says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is evident that he is excepted who subjected all things to him.

²⁷کلام خدا می گوید که خدا همه چیز را زیر پای مسیح قرار داده است. ولی البته معلوم است که عبارت «همه چیز» شامل خدا، که همه چیز را تحت فرمان مسیح می گذارد، نمی شود.

²⁸When all things have been subjected to him, then the Son will also himself be subjected to him who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.

²⁸وقتی که همه چیز تحت فرمان مسیح قرار بگیرد، مسیح نیز که پسر خداست، خود را در اختیار خدا، که همه چیز را به فرمان او گذاشت، قرار خواهد داد تا خدا بر کل کائنات حاکم گردد.

²⁹Or else what will they do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead aren’t raised at all, why then are they baptized for the dead?

²⁹در غیر این صورت برای چه عده ای به عوض مردگان تعمید می گیرند؟ اگر مردگان اصلاً زنده نمی شوند، چرا دیگران به نام ایشان تعمید می گیرند؟

³⁰Why do we also stand in jeopardy every hour?

³⁰و ما چرا باید در تمام ساعات زندگی با خطر روبرو باشیم؟

³¹I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

³¹ای برادران، چون در خداوند، عیسی مسیح به شما افتخار می کنم، سوگند می خورم که هر روز با مرگ روبرو می شوم.

³²If I fought with animals at Ephesus for human purposes, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, then “let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.” Isaiah 22:13

³²اگر من فقط از روی انگیزه های انسانی در اِفِسُس با جانوران می جنگیدم چه چیزی عاید من می شد؟ اگر مردگان زنده نمی شوند، پس «بخوریم و بنوشیم، زیرا فردا خواهیم مُرد.»

³³Don’t be deceived! “Evil companionships corrupt good morals.”

³³فریب نخورید ـ معاشران بد، اخلاق خوب را فاسد می سازند.

³⁴Wake up righteously, and don’t sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

³⁴درست فکر کنید و دیگر گناه نکنید، زیرا بعضی از شما خدا را نمی شناسید و این را برای شرمساری شما می گویم.

³⁵But someone will say, “How are the dead raised?” and, “With what kind of body do they come?”

³⁵شاید کسی بپرسد: «مردگان چگونه زنده می شوند و با چه نوع بدنی ظاهر می شوند؟»

³⁶You foolish one, that which you yourself sow is not made alive unless it dies.

³⁶ای نادانان، وقتی تخمی در زمین می کارید، آن زنده نخواهد شد، مگر اینکه اول بمیرد.

³⁷That which you sow, you don’t sow the body that will be, but a bare grain, maybe of wheat, or of some other kind.

³⁷و آنچه می کاری فقط یک دانه است، خواه یک دانۀ گندم باشد یا هر دانۀ دیگر و آن هنوز شکل نهایی خود را نگرفته است.

³⁸But God gives it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own.

³⁸خدا مطابق ارادۀ خود بدنی به آن می دهد و به هر نوع تخم، بدنی مخصوص می بخشد.

³⁹All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds.

³⁹گوشت همۀ موجودات زنده یک قسم نیست، گوشت آدمیان یک قسم است و هر دسته از حیوانات، پرندگان و ماهیان گوشت مخصوص به خود را دارند.

⁴⁰There are also celestial bodies, and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial differs from that of the terrestrial.

⁴⁰اجسام آسمانی با اجسام زمینی فرق دارند و زیبایی های آن ها نیز با هم تفاوت دارد.

⁴¹There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.

⁴¹زیبایی آفتاب یک قسم است و زیبایی ماه و ستارگان نحوی دیگر و حتی در میان ستارگان زیبایی های گوناگون یافت می شود.

⁴²So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption.

⁴²زنده شدن مردگان نیز چنین خواهد بود: آنچه به خاک سپرده می شود فانی است و آنچه بر می خیزد فناناپذیر است.

⁴³It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.

⁴³آنچه بخاک می رود ذلیل و خوار است. آنچه بر می خیزد پُر جلال است. در ضعف و ناتوانی کاشته می شود و در قدرت سبز می شود.

⁴⁴It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body.

⁴⁴بدن جسمانی به خاک سپرده می شود و بدن روحانی بر می خیزد. همچنانکه بدن جسمانی هست، بدن روحانی نیز وجود دارد.

⁴⁵So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7 The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

⁴⁵در این خصوص نوشته شده است: «اولین انسان یعنی آدم، نَفسِ زنده گشت.» اما آدم آخر روح زندگی بخش گردید.

⁴⁶However that which is spiritual isn’t first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual.

⁴⁶آنچه روحانی است، اول نمی آید. اول جسمانی و بعد از آن روحانی می آید.

⁴⁷The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is the Lord from heaven.

⁴⁷آدم اول از خاک زمین ساخته شد و آدم دوم از آسمان آمد.

⁴⁸As is the one made of dust, such are those who are also made of dust; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

⁴⁸خاکیان به او که از خاک ساخته شد شبیه اند و آسمانی ها هم به او که از آسمان آمد شباهت دارند.

⁴⁹As we have borne the image of those made of dust, let’s NU, TR read “we will” instead of “let’s” also bear the image of the heavenly.

⁴⁹همان گونه که شکل خاکی به خود گرفتیم، شکل آسمانی نیز به خود خواهیم گرفت.

⁵⁰Now I say this, brothers, The word for “brothers” here and where context allows may also be correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” that flesh and blood can’t inherit the Kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit incorruption.

⁵⁰ای برادران، مقصودم این است که آنچه از گوشت و خون ساخته شده است، نمی تواند در پادشاهی خدا حصه داشته باشد و آنچه فانی است، نمی تواند در فناناپذیری نصیبی داشته باشد.

⁵¹Behold, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,

⁵¹گوش دهید تا رازی را برای شما فاش سازم. همۀ ما نخواهیم مرد؛

⁵²in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.

⁵²بلکه در یک لحظه با یک چشم بهم زدن به محض آنکه صدای شیپور آخر شنیده شود، تغییر خواهیم یافت زیرا شیپور به صدا در می آید و مردگان برای زندگی فناناپذیر زنده می شوند و ما نیز تغییر خواهیم یافت.

⁵³For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

⁵³زیرا فنا باید با بقاء پوشیده شود و مرگ با زندگی ابدی پوشیده گردد.

⁵⁴But when this corruptible will have put on incorruption, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then what is written will happen: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” Isaiah 25:8

⁵⁴زمانی که فنا با بقاء و مرگ با زندگی پوشیده شود، آنچه نوشته شده است تمام خواهد شد که:«مرگ نابود گشته و پیروزی، کامل گردیده است.»

⁵⁵“Death, where is your sting? Hades or, Hell , where is your victory?” Hosea 13:14

⁵⁵«ای مرگ، پیروزی تو کجاست و ای موت نیش تو کجا؟»

⁵⁶The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

⁵⁶نیش مرگ از گناه زهرآگین می شود و گناه از شریعت قدرت می گیرد.

⁵⁷But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁵⁷اما خدا را شکر که او به وسیلۀ خداوند ما عیسی مسیح به ما پیروزی بخشیده است.بنابراین ای برادران عزیز، پابرجا و استوار بمانید. همیشه در کار و خدمت خداوند مشغول باشید زیرا می دانید که زحمات شما در خدمت او بی نتیجه نخواهد بود.

⁵⁸Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

⁵⁸بنابراین ای برادران عزیز، پابرجا و استوار بمانید. همیشه در کار و خدمت خداوند مشغول باشید زیرا می دانید که زحمات شما در خدمت او بی نتیجه نخواهد بود.
