¹Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.

¹سلیمان همچنان یک قصر برای خود ساخت که ساختمان آن مدت سیزده سال را در بر گرفت.

²For he built the house of the forest of Lebanon; its length was one hundred cubits, and its breadth fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits, on four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams on the pillars.

²یکی از اطاقهای قصر را سالون جنگل لبنان نامید که طول آن پنجاه متر، عرض آن بیست و پنج متر و بلندی آن پانزده متر بود. سقف آن با تیرهای سرو و بر چهار ستون بنا یافته بود.

³It was covered with cedar above over the forty-five beams, that were on the pillars; fifteen in a row.

³سالون آن دارای چهل و پنج کلکین بود. کلکین ها در سه ردیف قرار داشتند و هر ردیف بالای هم و دارای پنج کلکین بودند که روبروی هم در سه دیوار ساخته شده بودند.

⁴There were beams in three rows, and window was over against window in three ranks.

⁴تمام دروازه ها و کلکین ها چوکات مستطیل داشتند.

⁵All the doors and posts were made square with beams: and window was over against window in three ranks.

⁵اطاق دیگری بنام سالون ستونها یاد می شد. طول آن بیست و پنج متر، عرض آن پانزده متر بود و پیش روی آن یک بَرَنده با سایه بانی که بالای چند ستون قرار داشت، ساخت.

⁶He made the porch of pillars; its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth thirty cubits; and a porch before them; and pillars and a threshold before them.

⁶اطاق هم برای تخت خود آباد کرد که آنرا سالون عدالت هم می گفتند، تا در آنجا بر تخت قضاوت بنشیند و بر مردم داوری کند. این اطاق از زمین تا سقف با چوب سرو پوش شده بود.

⁷He made the porch of the throne where he was to judge, even the porch of judgment: and it was covered with cedar from floor to floor.

⁷خانۀ مسکونی خودش در حویلی دیگری در پشت سالون عدالت واقع بود و برای زن خود که دختر فرعون بود، خانه ای به همین طرح و شکل ساخت.

⁸His house where he was to dwell, the other court within the porch, was of the like work. He made also a house for Pharaoh’s daughter (whom Solomon had taken as wife), like this porch.

⁸همۀ این ساختمانها از تهداب تا سر دیوارها همه از سنگهای قیمتی به اندازه های معین بریده و تراشیده شده بودند.

⁹All these were of costly stones, even of cut stone, according to measure, sawed with saws, inside and outside, even from the foundation to the coping, and so on the outside to the great court.

⁹سنگهای تهداب به اندازۀ های پنج متر و چهار متر بودند.

¹⁰The foundation was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits.

¹⁰سنگهای دیوار بالای تهداب هم مطابق اندازه از سنگهای قیمتی تراشیده شده و بالای آن ها تیرهای سرو قرار داشتند.

¹¹Above were costly stones, even cut stone, according to measure, and cedar wood.

¹¹دیوارهای صحن بزرگ آن از سه ردیف سنگهای تراشیده و یک ردیف چوب سرو و صحن داخلی عبادتگاه خداوند و برندۀ قصر هم به همین ترتیب ساخته شده بودند.

¹²The great court around had three courses of cut stone, and a course of cedar beams; like as the inner court of the house of Yahweh, and the porch of the house.

¹²سلیمان پادشاه شخصی را بنام حورام که از اهالی صور بود دعوت کرد که بیاید.

¹³King Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.

¹³او پسر یک بیوه زن و از قبیلۀ نفتالی و پدرش مسگر و از باشندگان صور بود. او در کارهای مسگری و ریخته گری مهارت کامل داشت. بنابران این دعوت را پذیرفته پیش سلیمان پادشاه آمد.

¹⁴He was the son of a widow of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass; and he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill, to work all works in brass. He came to king Solomon, and performed all his work.

¹⁴حورام دو ستون برنجی ریخت که طول هر ستون در حدود نُه متر و محیط دَور آن ها شش متر بود. ستونها میان خالی و ضخامت جدار آن ها چهار انگشت بود.

¹⁵For he fashioned the two pillars of brass, eighteen cubits high apiece: and a line of twelve cubits encircled either of them about.

¹⁵برای سر هر ستون دو تاج ریختگی از برنج ساخت. طول هر تاج دو و نیم متر بود.

¹⁶He made two capitals of molten brass, to set on the tops of the pillars: the height of the one capital was five cubits, and the height of the other capital was five cubits.

¹⁶بعد دو رشته زنجیر برنجی را بصورت حمایل و لوزی بهم بافته به تاجهای سر ستونها وصل کرد ـ هفت دانه برای هر تاج.

¹⁷There were nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the capitals which were on the top of the pillars; seven for the one capital, and seven for the other capital.

¹⁷دو قطار انار برنجی برای دور حمایل و زینت تاجهای سر هر یک از ستونها ساخت.

¹⁸So he made the pillars; and there were two rows around on the one network, to cover the capitals that were on the top of the pillars: and he did so for the other capital.

¹⁸تاجهای سر هر ستون به صورت گل سوسن به بلندی دو متر ساخت.

¹⁹The capitals that were on the top of the pillars in the porch were of lily work, four cubits.

¹⁹بر تاجهای هر ستون و گرداگرد آن ها دو صد انار در دو صف ساخت.

²⁰There were capitals above also on the two pillars, close by the belly which was beside the network: and the pomegranates were two hundred, in rows around on the other capital.

²⁰بعد ستونها را در دالان عبادتگاه قرار داد. ستون سمت جنوب را یاکین و ستون سمت شمال را بوعز نامید.

²¹He set up the pillars at the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called its name Jachin; and he set up the left pillar, and called its name Boaz.

²¹سر هر ستون را با گل سوسن تزئین کرد و به این ترتیب کار ساختمان ستونها تمام شد.

²²On the top of the pillars was lily work: so was the work of the pillars finished.

²²بعد از آن حوضی از فلز ریختگی بشکل دایروی و به عمق دو و نیم متر ساخت. قطر آن پنج متر و محیط آن حدود پانزده متر بود.

²³He made the molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and its height was five cubits; and a line of thirty cubits encircled it.

²³به دورادور زیر لب آن دو صف کدو ها را با خود حوض بصورت یک تکه ریخت.

²⁴Under its brim around there were buds which encircled it, for ten cubits, encircling the sea: the buds were in two rows, cast when it was cast.

²⁴حوض مذکور بر پشت دوازده گاو فلزی قرار داشت. سه تای آن ها رو به شمال، سه تا رو به مغرب، سه تا رو به جنوب و سه تای دیگر آن ها رو به مشرق بودند. سر گاوها بطرف بیرون بود.

²⁵It stood on twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the sea was set on them above, and all their hinder parts were inward.

²⁵ضخامت دیوار حوض هشت سانتی متر، لب آن بشکل لب پیاله و خود حوض بشکل گل سوسن ساخته شده بود. این حوض گنجایش بیش از چهل هزار لیتر آب را داشت.

²⁶It was a handbreadth thick: and its brim was worked like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily: it held two thousand baths.

²⁶ده پایۀ برنجی برای حوض ساخت که طول و عرض هر کدام آن ها دو متر و بلندی آن ها یک و نیم متر بود.

²⁷He made the ten bases of brass; four cubits was the length of one base, and four cubits its breadth, and three cubits its height.

²⁷این پایه ها بصورت حاشیه های چهار ضلعی در بین چوکات قرار داشتند.

²⁸The work of the bases was like this: they had panels; and there were panels between the ledges;

²⁸و با اشکال شیر، گاو و کروب مزین شده بودند. بر چوکات آن ها، در بالا و پائین شیرها و گاوها، نقشهای برجسته از دسته های گل آویزان بود.

²⁹and on the panels that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and on the ledges there was a pedestal above; and beneath the lions and oxen were wreaths of hanging work.

²⁹هر پایه دارای یک چرخ و یک میلۀ فلزی بود. در هر کنج آن یک طشت بالای یک پایه ساخته شده بود. اطراف پایه ها با دسته های گل از فلز ریختگی تزئین شده بودند.

³⁰Every base had four bronze wheels, and axles of brass; and the four feet of it had supports: beneath the basin were the supports molten, with wreaths at the side of each.

³⁰بالای هر طشت یک چوکات مدور بود که پنجاه سانتی متر بلندی داشت و عمق وسط آن هفتاد و پنج سانتی متر بود و از طرف بیرون با دسته های گل مزین بود.

³¹The mouth of it within the capital and above was a cubit: and its mouth was round after the work of a pedestal, a cubit and a half; and also on its mouth were engravings, and their panels were foursquare, not round.

³¹چرخها به بلندی هفتاد و پنج سانتی متر بر میله ها و در زیر حاشیۀ پایه ها قرار داشتند. پایه ها و میله ها بصورت یک تکه و همچنین چرخها، پَره ها و قبه ها از فلز ریختگی ساخته شده بودند.

³²The four wheels were underneath the panels; and the axles of the wheels were in the base: and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit.

³²چهار طشت در چهار کنج پایه ها وجود داشتند که با خود پایه بصورت یک تکه ریخته شده بودند.

³³The work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their axles, and their rims, and their spokes, and their naves, were all molten.

³³در حصۀ بالائی هر پایه یک حلقۀ مدور به بلندی بیست و پنج سانتی متر، با خود پایه بصورت یک تکه ریخته شده بود.

³⁴There were four supports at the four corners of each base: its supports were of the base itself.

³⁴به دورادور طشتها و حاشیه های آن ها اشکال کروب ها، شیرها، درختان خرما و دسته های گل را حکاکی کرد.

³⁵In the top of the base was there a round compass half a cubit high; and on the top of the base its stays and its panels were of the same.

³⁵هر ده پایه یک اندازه و یک شکل داشت، زیرا همه در یک قالب ریخته شده بود.

³⁶On the plates of its stays, and on its panels, he engraved cherubim, lions, and palm trees, according to the space of each, with wreaths all around.

³⁶ده طشت برنجی ساخت و آن ها را بالای ده پایه قرار داد. قطر هر طشت دو متر و هر کدام آن ظرفیت هشتصد لیتر آب را داشت.

³⁷In this way, he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, and one form.

³⁷پنج پایه را در سمت جنوب و پنج پایه را در سمت شمال و خود حوض را در کنج جنوب شرق عبادتگاه قرار داد.

³⁸He made ten basins of brass: one basin contained forty baths; and every basin was four cubits; and on every one of the ten bases one basin.

³⁸حورام سطل ها، خاک انداز و کاسه ها هم ساخت. به این ترتیب، همه کارهای عبادتگاه خداوند را که سلیمان به او سپرده بود تمام کرد.

³⁹He set the bases, five on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward, toward the south.

³⁹اینست فهرست چیزهائی که حورام ساخت: دو ستون؛ دو تاج بالای دو ستون؛ دو شبکه برای پوشش تاجهای دو ستون؛ چهار صد انار برای دو شبکۀ پوش تاجهای دو ستون؛ ده پایه، ده طشت؛ یک حوض بزرگ و ده گاو زیر آن؛ دیگ، کاسه و خاک انداز. حورام همۀ آن ها را از برنج صیقلی بنا بفرمایش سلیمان برای عبادتگاه خداوند، در ریخته گری وادی دریای اُردن، بین سکوت و زَرِتان، ساخت.

⁴⁰Hiram made the basins, and the shovels, and the basins. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he worked for king Solomon in the house of Yahweh:

⁴⁰سلیمان ظروفی ساخته شده را وزن نکرد، زیرا وزن آن ها از حد و اندازه زیاد بود و وزن ظروف برنجی هم معلوم نشد.

⁴¹the two pillars, and the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars; and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars;

⁴¹سلیمان هم لوازم عبادتگاه خداوند، از قبیل قربانگاه و میز نان مقدسه را از طلا ساخت.

⁴²and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks; two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the pillars;

⁴²همچنین چراغدان ـ پنج عدد در سمت جنوب و پنج عدد در سمت شمال، در پیشروی قدس الاقداس، گلها، چراغها، آتشگیر ها،

⁴³and the ten bases, and the ten basins on the bases;

⁴³گُلگیرها، طشتها، قاشقها، منقلها و چپراس های دروازه های قدس الاقداس و دروازۀ دخول عبادتگاه را از طلای خالص ساخت.وقتی سرانجام بنای عبادتگاه خداوند بسر رسید، سلیمان تمام نقره، طلا و ظروفی را که پدرش، داود وقف خداوند کرده بود در عبادتگاه خداوند گذاشت.

⁴⁴and the one sea, and the twelve oxen under the sea;

⁴⁴وقتی سرانجام بنای عبادتگاه خداوند بسر رسید، سلیمان تمام نقره، طلا و ظروفی را که پدرش، داود وقف خداوند کرده بود در عبادتگاه خداوند گذاشت.

⁴⁵and the pots, and the shovels, and the basins: even all these vessels, which Hiram made for king Solomon, in the house of Yahweh, were of burnished brass.

⁴⁶The king cast them in the plain of the Jordan, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarethan.

⁴⁷Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding many: the weight of the brass could not be found out.

⁴⁸Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of Yahweh: the golden altar, and the table whereupon the show bread was, of gold;

⁴⁹and the lampstands, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, of pure gold; and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold;

⁵⁰and the cups, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the fire pans, of pure gold; and the hinges, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, of the temple, of gold.

⁵¹Thus all the work that king Solomon worked in the house of Yahweh was finished. Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated, the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, and put them in the treasuries of the house of Yahweh.
