1In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.
1در سال بیست و هفتم سلطنت یَرُبعام دوم، پادشاه اسرائیل، عَزَریا، پسر اَمَصیا پادشاه یهودا شد.
2Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.
2او شانزده ساله بود که به سلطنت رسید و مدت پنجاه و دو سال در اورشلیم پادشاهی کرد.
3He did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, according to all that his father Amaziah had done.
3او مثل پدر خود، اَمَصیا با اعمال نیک خود رضایت و خوشنودی خداوند را حاصل کرد.
4However the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.
4با اینهم معابد تپه ها را ویران نکرد و مردم هنوز هم در آن معابد قربانی می کردند و بخور می سوزاندند.
5Yahweh struck the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death, and lived in a separate house. Jotham the king’s son was over the household, judging the people of the land.
5خداوند عَزَریا را به مرض جذام مبتلا کرد که تا آخر عمر از آن رنج می برد، بنابران در یک خانۀ جداگانه زندگی می کرد و پسرش، یوتام ادارۀ امور قصر سلطنتی و مملکت را در دست داشت.

6بقیه حوادث زمان سلطنت عَزَریا و کار های او همه در کتاب تاریخ پادشاهان یهودا ذکر شده اند.
7Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his place.
7وقتی عَزَریا فوت کرد، او را با پدرانش در شهر داود دفن کردند و پسرش، یوتام جانشین او شد.
8In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah the son of Jeroboam reigned over Israel in Samaria six months.
8در سال سی و هشتم سلطنت عَزَریا، پادشاه یهودا، زکریا، پسر یَرُبعام در سامره پادشاه اسرائیل شد و مدت شش ماه سلطنت کرد.
9He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, as his fathers had done: he didn’t depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
9او با کارهای شرارت آمیز خود خداوند را ناراضی ساخت. مثل پدران خود خطاکار بود و دست از گناه برنداشت و مانند پدران خود سبب شد که مردم اسرائیل مرتکب گناه شوند.
10Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and struck him before the people, and killed him, and reigned in his place.
10شلوم، پسر یابیش برضد او شورش کرد و او را در ملاء عام بقتل رساند و خودش جانشین او شد.
11Now the rest of the acts of Zechariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
11بقیه وقایع دوران سلطنت زکریا و کارروائی های او در کتاب تاریخ پادشاهان اسرائیل ثبت شده اند.
12This was the word of Yahweh which he spoke to Jehu, saying, “Your sons to the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.” So it came to pass.
12به این ترتیب خداوند وعدۀ خود را که به ییهُو داده بود عملی ساخت، چونکه فرموده بود: «اولاده ات تا نسل چهارم بر تخت سلطنت اسرائیل می نشینند» و همانطور هم شد.
13Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned for a month in Samaria.
13در سال سی و نهم سلطنت عَزَریا، پادشاه یهودا، شلوم، پسر یابیش پادشاه شد و مدت یک ماه در سامره سلطنت کرد.
14Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and struck Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and killed him, and reigned in his place.
14بعد مِنَحیم، پسر جادی از تِرزه به سامره آمد و شلوم را در آنجا کشت و خودش بجای او پادشاه اسرائیل شد.
15Now the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
15همه کارهای شلوم بشمول توطئۀ او برضد زکریا در کتاب تاریخ پادشاهان اسرائیل نوشته شده اند.
16Then Menahem struck Tiphsah, and all who were therein, and its borders, from Tirzah: because they didn’t open to him, therefore he struck it; and all the women therein who were with child he ripped up.
16مِنَحیم در راه خود بسوی تِرزه تمام باشندگان تِفسَح و اطراف آنرا از بین برد، زیرا آن ها به او بیعت نکردند. او حتی شکم زنان حامله را هم پاره کرد.
17In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem the son of Gadi began to reign over Israel for ten years in Samaria.
17در سال سی و نهم سلطنت عَزَریا، پادشاه یهودا، مِنَحیم، پسر جادی بر تخت سلطنت اسرائیل نشست و مدت ده سال در سامره پادشاه بود.
18He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh: he didn’t depart all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
18او کارهائی کرد که در نظر خداوند زشت بودند. در سراسر عمر خود از راه و روش گناه آلود یَرُبعام، پسر نباط که مردم اسرائیل را براه گناه برد، پیروی کرد.
19There came against the land Pul the king of Assyria; and Menahem gave Pul one thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.
19بعد فول، پادشاه آشور، به کشور اسرائیل حمله کرد و مِنَحیم برای اینکه فول از او در ادامۀ سلطنت بر کشور اسرائیل حمایه کند در حدود هفتاد خروار نقره به او داد.
20Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and didn’t stay there in the land.
20مِنَحیم پول را از مردم ثروتمند اسرائیل به زور گرفت و آن ها را وادار کرد که هر کدام شان پنجاه مثقال نقره به پادشاه آشور بدهد. بنابران پادشاه آشور از توقف در آنجا صرف نظر کرده به کشور خود برگشت.

21بقیۀ وقایع دوران سلطنت مِنَحیم و فعالیتهای او در کتاب تاریخ پادشاهان اسرائیل ثبت شده اند.
22Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his place.
22بعد مِنَحیم فوت کرد و با اجداد خود پیوست و پسرش، فَقحیا جانشین او شد.
23In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria for two years.
23در سال پنجاهم سلطنت عَزَریا، پادشاه یهودا، فَقحیا، پسر مِنَحیم در سامره بر تخت سلطنت اسرائیل نشست و مدت دو سال پادشاهی کرد.
24He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh: he didn’t depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
24او کارهائی کرد که در نظر خداوند زشت بود. او از اعمال بد یَرُبعام، پسر نباط که مردم اسرائیل را براه خطا بُرد دست نکشید.
25Pekah the son of Remaliah, his captain, conspired against him, and struck him in Samaria, in the castle of the king’s house, with Argob and Arieh; and with him were fifty men of the Gileadites: and he killed him, and reigned in his place.
25یکی از مأمورین او بنام فَقَح، پسر رِملیا برضد او شورش کرد و با همراهی پنجاه نفر از مردم جلعاد، او را با دو نفر دیگر بنامهای ارحوب و اَرِیه در قصر شاهی در سامره بقتل رساند و بجای او پادشاه شد.

26بقیه حوادث دوران سلطنت فَقحیا در کتاب تاریخ پادشاهان اسرائیل ذکر یافته اند.
27In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria for twenty years.
27در سال پنجاه و دوم سلطنت عَزَریا، پادشاه یهودا، فَقَح، پسر رِملیا در سامره پادشاه شد و مدت بیست سال بر اسرائیل سلطنت کرد.
28He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh: he didn’t depart from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, with which he made Israel to sin.
28کارهای او همه در نظر خداوند زشت بود. از راه و روش بد یَرُبعام، که باعث شد مردم اسرائیل مرتکب گناه شوند، پیروی کرد.
29In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglath Pileser king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abel Beth Maacah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali; and he carried them captive to Assyria.
29در دوران سلطنت فَقَح، تِغلَت فلاسر، پادشاه آشور، به اسرائیل حمله کرد و شهرهای عیون، آبل، بیت مَعکه، یانوح، قادِش، حاصور، جلعاد، جلیل و تمام سرزمین نفتالی را تصرف کرد و مردم شان را اسیر کرده به آشور برد.
30Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and struck him, and killed him, and reigned in his place, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.
30در سال بیستم سلطنت یوتام، پسر عَزَریا، هوشع، پسر اِیله دست بشورش زد و در یک حمله فَقَح را بقتل رساند و بعوض او پادشاه شد.

31بقیه وقایع سلطنت فَقَح و کارهای او در کتاب تاریخ پادشاهان اسرائیل نوشته شده است.
32In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.
32در سال دوم پادشاهی فَقَح بود که یوتام، پسر عَزَریا پادشاه یهودا شد.
33He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Jerusha the daughter of Zadok.
33او در بیست و پنج سالگی به پادشاهی رسید و مدت شانزده سال در اورشلیم سلطنت کرد. نام مادرش یروشه و دختر صادوق بود.
34He did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh; he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.
34او مثل پدر خود، عَزَریا نیک عمل بود و خداوند را از خود خوشنود ساخت.
35However the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places. He built the upper gate of the house of Yahweh.
35با اینهم معابد بالای تپه ها را ویران نکرد و مردم هنوز هم در آن معابد قربانی می کردند و بخور می سوزاندند. او دروازۀ فوقانی عبادتگاه خداوند را ساخت.

37In those days Yahweh began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.
37در همین وقت بود که خداوند رزین، پادشاه ارام و فَقَح، پسر رِملیا را بجنگ یهودا فرستاد.بعد یوتام فوت کرد و او را با پدرانش در مقبرۀ شاهی، در شهر داود بخاک سپردند و پسرش آحاز جانشین او شد.
38Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Ahaz his son reigned in his place.
38بعد یوتام فوت کرد و او را با پدرانش در مقبرۀ شاهی، در شهر داود بخاک سپردند و پسرش آحاز جانشین او شد.
