1He who is wounded in the stones, or has his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the assembly of Yahweh.
1هرکسی که بیضه ها یا آلۀ تناسلی اش بریده شده باشند اجازه ندارد که داخل جماعت خداوند شود.
2A bastard shall not enter into the assembly of Yahweh; even to the tenth generation shall none of his enter into the assembly of Yahweh.
2شخص حرام زاده و فرزندان او تا ده نسل حق ندارند که در جماعت خداوند داخل شوند.
3An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into the assembly of Yahweh; even to the tenth generation shall none belonging to them enter into the assembly of Yahweh forever:
3به هیچیک از عمونیان و موآبیان و اولادۀ آن ها تا ده نسل نباید اجازۀ ورود در جماعت خداوند داده شود،
4because they didn’t meet you with bread and with water in the way, when you came forth out of Egypt, and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse you.
4زیرا وقتی شما از مصر خارج شدید آن ها با نان و آب به استقبال شما نیامدند. آن ها حتی بِلعام، پسر بِعور را که از مردم فتور بود، از بین النهرین اجیر کردند تا شما را لعنت کند.
5Nevertheless Yahweh your God wouldn’t listen to Balaam; but Yahweh your God turned the curse into a blessing to you, because Yahweh your God loved you.
5اما خداوند، خدای تان به حرف بِلعام توجه نکرد. برعکس، چون شما را دوست داشت لعنت را به برکت تبدیل کرد.
6You shall not seek their peace nor their prosperity all your days forever.
6بنابران، تا که حیات دارید نباید به آن ها کمک کنید که در رفاه و آسایش زندگی کنند.
7You shall not abhor an Edomite; for he is your brother: you shall not abhor an Egyptian, because you lived as a foreigner in his land.
7اما شما نباید ادومیان را دشمن خود بشمارید، زیرا آن ها برادران شما هستند. همچنین از مردم مصر نباید متنفر باشید، زیرا که در کشور شان زندگی می کردید.
8The children of the third generation who are born to them shall enter into the assembly of Yahweh.
8نسل سوم شان اجازه دارند که در جماعت خداوند داخل شوند.
9When you go forth in camp against your enemies, then you shall keep yourselves from every evil thing.
9وقتی برای جنگ با دشمنان اردو می زنید، باید از هرگونه ناپاکی ها دوری کنید.
10If there is among you any man who is not clean by reason of that which happens him by night, then shall he go outside of the camp. He shall not come within the camp:
10اگر کسی بخاطر انزال شبانه نجس شود، پس باید از اردوگاه خارج گردد و نباید به داخل اردوگاه برود.
11but it shall be, when evening comes on, he shall bathe himself in water; and when the sun is down, he shall come within the camp.
11سپس غسل کند و هنگام غروب آفتاب به اردوگاه برگردد.
12You shall have a place also outside of the camp, where you shall go forth abroad:
12بیت الخلاء هائی در بیرون اردوگاه بسازید.
13and you shall have a paddle among your weapons; and it shall be, when you sit down abroad, you shall dig therewith, and shall turn back and cover that which comes from you:
13هر کسی در بین ابزار خود باید وسیله ای برای کندن زمین داشته باشد که بعد از قضای حاجت با آن زمین را حُفر کند و فضلۀ خود را بپوشاند.
14for Yahweh your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you, and to give up your enemies before you; therefore your camp shall be holy, that he may not see an unclean thing in you, and turn away from you.
14اردوگاه باید پاک و نظیف باشد، زیرا خداوند، خدای تان در اردوگاه با شما می باشد تا شما را محافظت نماید و دشمنان را به دست تان تسلیم کند. مبادا چیز پلیدی را در اردوگاه ببیند و از شما رو برگرداند.
15You shall not deliver to his master a servant who is escaped from his master to you:
15هرگاه غلامی از صاحب خود فرار کند و پیش شما بیاید، او را مجبور نکنید که پیش صاحب خود برگردد.
16he shall dwell with you, in the midst of you, in the place which he shall choose within one of your gates, where it pleases him best: you shall not oppress him.
16او می تواند در بین شما در هر جائی که بخواهد زندگی کند و شما نباید بر او ظلم کنید.
17There shall be no prostitute of the daughters of Israel, neither shall there be a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
17مردان یا زنان اسرائیلی نباید فاحشۀ عبادتگاه شوند.
18You shall not bring the hire of a prostitute, or the wages of a dog, into the house of Yahweh your God for any vow: for even both these are an abomination to Yahweh your God.
18شما نباید پولی را که از راه فحشاء و لواطت به دست می آید بعنوان نذر به خانۀ خداوند، خدای تان بیاورید، زیرا خداوند از هر دو بیزار و متنفر است.
19You shall not lend on interest to your brother; interest of money, interest of food, interest of anything that is lent on interest:
19هرگاه به یک برادر اسرائیلی خود برای خوراک و یا چیزهای دیگر پول قرض می دهید، از او سود نگیرید،
20to a foreigner you may lend on interest; but to your brother you shall not lend on interest, that Yahweh your God may bless you in all that you put your hand to, in the land where you go in to possess it.
20اما اگر به یک بیگانه قرض بدهید می توانید از او سود بگیرید، نه از یک اسرائیلی. به این ترتیب، خداوند، خدای تان در آن سرزمینی که وارد می شوید در هر همه کارها به شما برکت می دهد.
21When you shall vow a vow to Yahweh your God, you shall not be slack to pay it: for Yahweh your God will surely require it of you; and it would be sin in you.
21وقتیکه برای خداوند، خدای تان نذر می کنید باید بدون تأخیر آن را ادا نمائید، زیرا اگر نذر تان را به موقع ادا نکنید، در پیشگاه خداوند گناهکار محسوب می شوید.
22But if you shall forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in you.
22اما اگر از نذر دادن خودداری کنید گناهکار نیستید.
23That which is gone out of your lips you shall observe and do; according as you have vowed to Yahweh your God, a freewill offering, which you have promised with your mouth.
23هرچه می گوئید به آن عمل کنید. همینطور وقتی بدلخواه خود برای خداوند، خدای تان نذر می کنید باید در ادای آن دقت کامل بعمل آورید.
24When you come into your neighbor’s vineyard, then you may eat of grapes your fill at your own pleasure; but you shall not put any in your vessel.
24وقتی به تاکستان کسی می روید، از انگورهای آن هرقدر که بخواهید می توانید بخورید، اما نباید انگور را در ظرفی ریخته با خود ببرید.هرگاه به کشتزار کسی داخل می شود، می توانید با دست تان خوشه ها را بچینید و بخورید، ولی نباید از داس کار بگیرید.
25When you come into your neighbor’s standing grain, then you may pluck the ears with your hand; but you shall not move a sickle to your neighbor’s standing grain.
25هرگاه به کشتزار کسی داخل می شود، می توانید با دست تان خوشه ها را بچینید و بخورید، ولی نباید از داس کار بگیرید.
