¹It shall be, when you have come in to the land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance, and possess it, and dwell therein,

¹وقتی به سرزمینی که خداوند، خدای تان به شما می دهد، رسیدید و آن را تصرف نمودید و در آن سکونت اختیار کردید،

²that you shall take of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which you shall bring in from your land that Yahweh your God gives you; and you shall put it in a basket, and shall go to the place which Yahweh your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.

²شما باید میوۀ اول محصولات زمین تان را در یک تُکری گذاشته به جائی که خداوند بعنوان عبادتگاه خود تعیین می کند، ببرید

³You shall come to the priest who shall be in those days, and tell him, “I profess this day to Yahweh your God, that I am come to the land which Yahweh swore to our fathers to give us.”

³و آن را به کاهن موظف بدهید و بگوئید: «من اقرار می کنم که خداوند، خدای تو مرا به سرزمینی که به اجداد ما وعده فرموده بود، آورده است.»

⁴The priest shall take the basket out of your hand, and set it down before the altar of Yahweh your God.

⁴پس از آنکه کاهن تکری را از دست شما گرفت و در پیشروی قربانگاه خداوند، خدای تان گذاشت،

⁵You shall answer and say before Yahweh your God, “A Syrian ready to perish was my father; and he went down into Egypt, and lived there, few in number; and he became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous.

⁵شما در حضور خداوند، خدای تان اقرار کرده بگوئید: «جد من آواره ای از سرزمین ارام بود و با فامیل خود به مصر پناه برد. گرچه تعداد شان کم بود، اما در آنجا یک قوم بزرگ و نیرومند و پُر نفوس شدند.

⁶The Egyptians dealt ill with us, and afflicted us, and laid on us hard bondage:

⁶وقتی مصری ها شروع به آزار ما کردند و با کارهای شاقه ما را غلام خود ساختند،

⁷and we cried to Yahweh, the God of our fathers, and Yahweh heard our voice, and saw our affliction, and our toil, and our oppression;

⁷ما پیش خداوند، خدای اجداد خود ناله و زاری کردیم. خداوند نالۀ ما را شنید و رنج و مشکلات ما را دید

⁸and Yahweh brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terror, and with signs, and with wonders;

⁸و با دست قوی و بازوی توانای خود و با معجزاتی که انجام داد ما را از مصر بیرون کرد

⁹and he has brought us into this place, and has given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

⁹و به این سرزمینی که در آن شیر و عسل جاری است، آورد و آن را به ما بخشید.

¹⁰Now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground, which you, Yahweh, have given me.” You shall set it down before Yahweh your God, and worship before Yahweh your God.

¹⁰پس حالا ای خداوند، میوۀ نو محصول زمینی را که به من بخشیده ای برایت آورده ام.» بعد آن را بحضور خداوند، خدای تان گذاشته او را سجده کنید.

¹¹You shall rejoice in all the good which Yahweh your God has given to you, and to your house, you, and the Levite, and the foreigner who is in the midst of you.

¹¹آنگاه بروید و با خانوادۀ تان، لاویان و بیگانگانی که در شهر شما زندگی می کنند، جشن بگیرید و بخاطر نعمت هائی که خداوند، خدای تان به شما داده است او را شکر کنید.

¹²When you have made an end of tithing all the tithe of your increase in the third year, which is the year of tithing, then you shall give it to the Levite, to the foreigner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, that they may eat within your gates, and be filled.

¹²هر سه سال باید ده فیصد تمام محصولات تان را به لاویان، بیگانگان، یتیمان و بیوه زنان در هر شهر شما‎ ‎بدهید که بخورند و سیر شوند.

¹³You shall say before Yahweh your God, “I have put away the holy things out of my house, and also have given them to the Levite, and to the foreigner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all your commandment which you have commanded me: I have not transgressed any of your commandments, neither have I forgotten them:

¹³بعد در حضور خداوند، خدای تان بگوئید: «قرار امر تو تمام یکدهم خود را به لاویان، بیگانگان، یتیمان و بیوه زنان دادم و از هیچیک احکام تو سرپیچی نکرده و آن ها را از یاد نبرده ام.

¹⁴I have not eaten of it in my mourning, neither have I put away of it, being unclean, nor given of it for the dead: I have listened to the voice of Yahweh my God; I have done according to all that you have commanded me.

¹⁴هنگامی که عزادار یا شرعاً نجس بوده ام از آن عُشریه نخورده ام و برای مردگان هدیه نکرده ام و از همه اوامر خداوند، خدای خود اطاعت نموده ام.

¹⁵Look down from your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless your people Israel, and the ground which you have given us, as you swore to our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.”

¹⁵پس ای خداوند، از جایگاه مقدست که در آسمان است نظر بینداز و قوم برگزیدۀ خود، اسرائیل و همچنین این سرزمین موعود را که در آن شیر و عسل جاری است برکت بده.»

¹⁶This day Yahweh your God commands you to do these statutes and ordinances: you shall therefore keep and do them with all your heart, and with all your soul.

¹⁶امروز خداوند، خدای تان امر می فرماید که تمام احکام و قوانین او را بدقت و از دل و جان بجا آورید.

¹⁷You have declared Yahweh this day to be your God, and that you would walk in his ways, and keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his ordinances, and listen to his voice:

¹⁷امروز خداوند به شما فرمود که او خدای شما می باشد و شما در طریق او قدم بردارید، احکام و قوانین او را بجا آورید و از او اطاعت کنید.

¹⁸and Yahweh has declared you this day to be a people for his own possession, as he has promised you, and that you should keep all his commandments;

¹⁸خداوند امروز قرار وعده اش اعلام کرد که شما قوم خاص او هستید و شما باید از احکام او پیروی کنید،تا شما را برتر از اقوام دیگر بسازد و تحسین و عزت و احترام ببینید و قوم مقدسی برای او باشید.»

¹⁹and to make you high above all nations that he has made, in praise, and in name, and in honor; and that you may be a holy people to Yahweh your God, as he has spoken.

¹⁹تا شما را برتر از اقوام دیگر بسازد و تحسین و عزت و احترام ببینید و قوم مقدسی برای او باشید.»
