¹Then I looked, and see, in the expanse that was over the head of the cherubim there appeared above them as it were a sapphire or, lapis lazuli stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

¹بعد دیدم که بر گنبد بالای سر موجودات بالدار، یعنی آن موجودات زنده، چیزی مانند یک تخت به رنگ یاقوت کبود ظاهر شد.

²He spoke to the man clothed in linen, and said, Go in between the whirling wheels, even under the cherub, and fill both your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city. He went in as I watched.

²خداوند به مردی که لباس کتانی بتن داشت، فرمود: «در بین چرخی که زیر فرشتگان است برو و مشت هایت را از زغال افروخته پُر کن و آن را بر شهر بپاش.» من دیدم که او رفت.

³Now the cherubim stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.

³هنگامی که آن مرد به داخل چرخ رفت، فرشتگان در سمت جنوب عبادتگاه خدا ایستاده بودند و ابری صحن داخلی را پُر کرد.

⁴The glory of Yahweh mounted up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of Yahweh’s glory.

⁴آنگاه جلال خداوند از بالای فرشتگان برخاست و بر آستانۀ عبادتگاه قرار گرفت. عبادتگاه از ابر پُر شد و نور درخشندۀ جلال خداوند صحن آن را فراگرفت.

⁵The sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of God Almighty when he speaks.

⁵صدای بالهای فرشتگان که مانند آواز خداوند قادر مطلق بود، تا صحن بیرونی شنیده می شد.

⁶It came to pass, when he commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, Take fire from between the whirling wheels, from between the cherubim, that he went in, and stood beside a wheel.

⁶وقتی خداوند به آن مردی که لباس کتانی پوشیده بود، فرمود که میان فرشتگان برود و از آتش بین چرخها مشت های خود را پُر کند، او رفت و پهلوی یکی از چرخها ایستاد.

⁷The cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubim to the fire that was between the cherubim, and took of it, and put it into the hands of him who was clothed in linen, who took it and went out.

⁷آنگاه یکی از فرشتگان دست خود را دراز کرد و از آتشی که میان آن ها بود یک مشت زغال را برداشت در دستهای آن مردی که لباس کتانی بتن داشت، گذاشت. او آتش را گرفت و بیرون رفت.

⁸There appeared in the cherubim the form of a man’s hand under their wings.

⁸فرشتگان زیر بالهای خود دستی به شکل دست انسانها داشتند.

⁹I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside one cherub, and another wheel beside another cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was like a beryl stone.

⁹چهار چرخ را هم دیدم، در کنار هر یک از فرشتگان یک چرخ قرار داشت و چرخها همشکل و مثل زبرجد می درخشیدند و هر چرخ در بین خود چرخ دیگری داشت.

¹⁰As for their appearance, the four of them had one likeness, like a wheel within a wheel.

¹⁰این چرخها می توانستند به هر طرف حرکت کنند، بدون اینکه دور بزنند. به هر سمتی که چرخ جلوی حرکت می کرد، چرخهای دیگر بدنبالش می رفتند، بدون اینکه دور بزنند.

¹¹When they went, they went in their four directions: they didn’t turn as they went, but to the place where the head looked they followed it; they didn’t turn as they went.

¹¹هر یک از چرخها با پَره ها و دورادورش پُر از چشم بود.

¹²Their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes all around, even the wheels that the four of them had.

¹²شنیدم که به این چرخها «چرخ چرخنده» می گفتند.

¹³As for the wheels, they were called in my hearing, the whirling wheels.

¹³هر فرشته چهار رو داشت. روی اولی مثل روی گاو، از دومی مانند روی انسان، از سومی شبیه روی شیر و از چهارمی همچون روی عقاب بود.

¹⁴Every one had four faces: the first face was the face of the cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third face the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

¹⁴فرشتگان برخاستند. اینها همان موجوداتی بودند که در کنار دریای خابور دیده بودم.

¹⁵The cherubim mounted up: this is the living creature that I saw by the river Chebar.

¹⁵وقتی فرشتگان حرکت می کردند، چرخها هم به حرکت می آمدند و هنگامی که بالهای خود را می گشودند و پرواز می کردند، چرخها هم همراه آن ها بلند می شدند و در کنار آن ها می ماندند.

¹⁶When the cherubim went, the wheels went beside them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels also didn’t turn from beside them.

¹⁶هر گاهی که فرشتگان توقف می کردند، چرخها نیز از حرکت بازمی ماندند و چون بر می خاستند چرخها همراه شان بلند می شدند، زیرا روح آن ها در چرخها بود.

¹⁷When they stood, these stood; and when they mounted up, these mounted up with them: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.

¹⁷آنگاه جلال خداوند از آستانۀ عبادتگاه بیرون رفت و بالای سر فرشتگان قرار گرفت.

¹⁸The glory of Yahweh went forth from over the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubim.

¹⁸سپس فرشتگان بالهای خود را گشودند و در برابر چشمان من در حالیکه چرخها در کنار شان بودند، از زمین برخاستند و در دهن دروازۀ شرقی عبادتگاه توقف کردند و جلال خدای اسرائیل بالای آن ها قرار گرفت.

¹⁹The cherubim lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight when they went forth, and the wheels beside them: and they stood at the door of the east gate of Yahweh’s house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

¹⁹حالا این فرشتگان را شناختم. اینها همان موجودات زنده بودند که زیر تخت خدای اسرائیل، در کنار دریای خابور دیده بودم.

²⁰This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar; and I knew that they were cherubim.

²⁰هر کدام چهار رو و چهار بال داشت و در زیر بالهای شان دستی شبیه دست انسان بود.چهره های شان هم مثل چهره هائی بودند که در کنار دریای خابور دیده بودم. هر کدام آن ها مستقیماً حرکت می کرد.

²¹Every one had four faces, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

²¹چهره های شان هم مثل چهره هائی بودند که در کنار دریای خابور دیده بودم. هر کدام آن ها مستقیماً حرکت می کرد.

²²As for the likeness of their faces, they were the faces which I saw by the river Chebar, their appearances and themselves; they went every one straight forward.
