¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹خداوند به موسی فرمود: «وقتی قوم اسرائیل برای عبادت و برگزاری اعیاد مذهبی بحضور من جمع می شوند باید مقررات ذیل را رعایت کنند:

²“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘The set feasts of Yahweh, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my set feasts.

²شش روز کار کنید، اما روز هفتم که سَبَت و یک روز مقدس است، برای استراحت تعیین شده است. در آن روز نباید کار کرد، بلکه برای عبادت جمع شوند. روز سَبَت متعلق به من است و در هر جائی که باشند باید آنرا تجلیل کنند.

³“‘Six days shall work be done: but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation; you shall do no kind of work. It is a Sabbath to Yahweh in all your dwellings.

³این اعیاد مقدس باید در اوقات مقرر برگزار و تجلیل شوند.

⁴“‘These are the set feasts of Yahweh, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their appointed season.

⁴عید فِصَح را هر سال، از غروب روز چهاردهم ماهِ اول به افتخار من برگزار کنند.

⁵In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, is Yahweh’s Passover.

⁵در روز پانزدهم همان ماه، عید نان فطیر شروع می شود و آن ها باید برای هفت روز نان فطیر، یعنی نانی که بدون خمیرمایه پخته شده باشد، بخورند.

⁶On the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread to Yahweh. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread.

⁶در روز اول این عید برای عبادت جمع شوند و از هر گونه کارهای روزمرۀ شان دست بکشند.

⁷In the first day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no regular work.

⁷مدت هفت روز هدیه های سوختنی برای من تقدیم کنند. در روز هفتم باز از کارهای روزمرۀ خود دست کشیده برای عبادت جمع شوند.»

⁸But you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh seven days. In the seventh day is a holy convocation: you shall do no regular work.’”

⁸خداوند به موسی فرمود: «به قوم اسرائیل بگو وقتی به این سرزمینی که من به آن ها بخشیده ام آمدند و یک خوشه از اولین میوۀ محصولات خود را که چیدند یا درو کردند، یک روز بعد از سَبَت برای کاهن بیاورند.

⁹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

⁹و او آن خوشه را بحضور من تکان بدهد تا من آن را از شما بپذیرم.

¹⁰“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap its the harvest, then you shall bring the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest:

¹⁰در همان روز یک برۀ یک سالۀ نر را که سالم و بی عیب باشد بعنوان قربانی سوختنی بحضور من تقدیم کنند.

¹¹and he shall wave the sheaf before Yahweh, to be accepted for you. On the next day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.

¹¹همراه آن، هدیه ای برای هدیه آردی که عبارت است از دو کیلو آرد اعلی، مخلوط با روغن زیتون بحضور من تقدیم کنند، بوی این هدیه برای من گوارا است. یک لیتر شراب را هم بعنوان هدیۀ نوشیدنی بیاورند.

¹²On the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb without blemish a year old for a burnt offering to Yahweh.

¹²تا که این هدیه ها را بحضور من تقدیم نکنند نباید نان یا حبوبات را بصورت خام یا بریان بخورند. این مقررات را همیشه و در نسلهای آینده، در هر جائی که باشند رعایت کنند.

¹³The meal offering with it shall be two tenth parts of an ephah 1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire to Yahweh for a pleasant aroma; and the drink offering with it shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.

¹³هفت هفته بعد از فردای روز سَبَت، روزی که خوشۀ میوۀ نو را برای من می آورید،

¹⁴You shall eat neither bread, nor roasted grain, nor fresh grain, until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God. This is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

¹⁴یعنی در روز پنجاهم که روز بعد از هفتمین سَبَت است یک هدیۀ دیگری از میوۀ نو خود را بعنوان هدیۀ آردی بحضور من تقدیم کنند.

¹⁵“‘You shall count from the next day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be completed:

¹⁵هر خانواده دو قرص نان را بعنوان هدیۀ مخصوص بحضور من بیاورند. هر قرص آن باید از دو کیلو آرد بدون خمیرمایه پخته شده باشد و بعنوان میوۀ اول خود بحضور من تکان بدهند.

¹⁶even to the next day after the seventh Sabbath you shall number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meal offering to Yahweh.

¹⁶همراه این نانها هفت برۀ یکسالۀ سالم و بی عیب، یک گوساله و دو قوچ را بعنوان قربانی سوختنی با هدیه های آردی و نوشیدنی بحضور من تقدیم کنند. بوی این قربانی ها که بر آتش تقدیم می شوند برای من گوارا است.

¹⁷You shall bring out of your habitations two loaves of bread for a wave offering made of two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour. They shall be baked with yeast, for first fruits to Yahweh.

¹⁷آن ها همچنان یک بُز نر را بعنوان قربانی گناه و دو برۀ یکسالۀ نر را جهت قربانی سلامتی تقدیم نمایند.

¹⁸You shall present with the bread seven lambs without blemish a year old, one young bull, and two rams. They shall be a burnt offering to Yahweh, with their meal offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Yahweh.

¹⁸آنگاه کاهن نانها را با آن دو بره بعنوان هدیۀ مخصوص بحضور من تکان دهد. این هدیه ها بسیار مقدس اند و برای خوراک کاهنان داده شوند.

¹⁹You shall offer one male goat for a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old for a sacrifice of peace offerings.

¹⁹در آن روز همگی باید از کار روزمرۀ خود دست بکشند و برای عبادت جمع شوند. و اولادۀ شان هم در آینده در هر جائی که باشند، همین مقررات را رعایت نمایند.

²⁰The priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering before Yahweh, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to Yahweh for the priest.

²⁰وقتی محصولات زمین خود را درو می کنید، گوشه های زمین را تماماً درو نکنید و خوشه هائی را که بر زمین افتاده اند بجا بگذارید تا مردم فقیر و بیگانگانی که در بین شما زندگی می کنند از آن ها استفاده نمایند. من خداوند، خدای شما هستم.»

²¹You shall make proclamation on the same day: there shall be a holy convocation to you; you shall do no regular work. This is a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

²¹خداوند به موسی این هدایات را داد: «به قوم اسرائیل بگو که هر سال، روز اول ماه هفتم روز استراحت است و همۀ مردم اسرائیل با شنیدن آواز سرنا برای عبادت جمع شوند.

²²“‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap into the corners of your field, neither shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest: you shall leave them for the poor, and for the foreigner. I am Yahweh your God.’”

²²در آن روز هدیه ای بر آتش برای من تقدیم کنند و همگی باید از کارهای روزمرۀ خود دست بکشند.»

²³Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²³خداوند به موسی فرمود: «هر سال، روز دهم ماه هفتم روز کفاره است. در آن روز تمام مردم اسرائیل برای عبادت جمع شوند. همگی روزه بگیرند و هدیه ای بر آتش برای من تقدیم کنند.

²⁴“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, shall be a solemn rest to you, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.

²⁴در آن روز از هر کاری که دارید دست بکشید، زیرا شما باید مراسمی را بجا آورید تا من گناهان شما را ببخشم.

²⁵You shall do no regular work; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh.’”

²⁵و هر کسی که در آن روز، روزه نگیرد از بین قوم من طرد می شود.

²⁶Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²⁶یا اگر کسی کار کند خودم او را از بین می برم.

²⁷“However on the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement: it shall be a holy convocation to you, and you shall afflict yourselves; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

²⁷این یک فریضۀ ابدی است و باید آن را نسلهای آیندۀ تان نیز در هر جائی که باشند رعایت نمایند.

²⁸You shall do no kind of work in that same day; for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before Yahweh your God.

²⁸از غروب روز نهم ماه هفتم تا غروب روز دهم آن ماه، روز مخصوص کفاره است و باید روزه بگیرند و استراحت کنند.»

²⁹For whoever it is who shall not deny himself in that same day; shall be cut off from his people.

²⁹خداوند به موسی فرمود: «به قوم اسرائیل بگو که در روز پانزدهم ماه هفتم، عید سایبانها شروع می شود و برای هفت روز در حضور من تجلیل گردد.

³⁰Whoever it is who does any kind of work in that same day, that person I will destroy from among his people.

³⁰در روز اول عید همگی باید از کارهای روزمرۀ خود دست کشیده برای عبادت جمع شوند.

³¹You shall do no kind of work: it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

³¹در ظرف آن هفت روز هدیه هائی را بر آتش بحضور من تقدیم کنند. در روز هشتم باز برای عبادت اجتماع کرده هدیه ای بر آتش برای من تقدیم نمایند. آن روز، روز پرستش است و کسی نباید به هیچ کاری دست بزند.

³²It shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for you, and you shall deny yourselves. In the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall keep your Sabbath.”

³²اینها اعیاد مذهبی هستند که باید تمام مردم اسرائیل برای عبادت جمع شده قربانی های سوختنی و هدیه های آردی و نوشیدنی را مطابق مقررات بر آتش برای من تقدیم کنند.

³³Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

³³این اعیاد بغیر از روزهای عادی سَبَت اند و هدیه هائی را که در این اعیاد تقدیم می کنند غیر از هدیه هائی عادی، نذری و دلخواه هستند که بحضور من تقدیم می کنند.

³⁴“Speak to the children of Israel, and say, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of tents for seven days to Yahweh.

³⁴در روز پانزدهم ماه هفتم، وقتی خِرمن را جمع می کنند این عید را برای هفت روز بحضور من تجلیل نمایند. روزهای اول و هشتم عید، روزهای استراحت اند.

³⁵On the first day shall be a holy convocation: you shall do no regular work.

³⁵در روز اول، بهترین میوه های درختان خود را بچینند و شاخه های درخت خرما و شاخه های پُربرگ بیدِ لب جوی را جمع کنند و برای هفت روز این عید را به افتخار من که خداوند، خدای شان هستم جشن بگیرند.

³⁶Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh. It is a solemn assembly; you shall do no regular work.

³⁶این عید را در ماه هفتم هر سال برای هفت روز تجلیل نمایند و این فریضه ای است همیشگی که باید نسلهای آیندۀ شان نیز آن را رعایت کنند.

³⁷“‘These are the appointed feasts of Yahweh, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh, a burnt offering, and a meal offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, each on its own day;

³⁷در ظرف همان هفت روز همۀ مردم اسرائیل باید در سایبانها بسر برند،

³⁸besides the Sabbaths of Yahweh, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings, which you give to Yahweh.

³⁸تا اولادۀ شان در آینده آگاه باشند که من خداوند، خدای آن ها، وقتی قوم اسرائیل را از مصر بیرون آوردم آن ها را در سایبانها جا دادم.»به این ترتیب، موسی مقررات اعیاد مذهبی را که خداوند تعیین فرمود به قوم اسرائیل ابلاغ کرد.

³⁹“‘So on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruits of the land, you shall keep the feast of Yahweh seven days: on the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.

³⁹به این ترتیب، موسی مقررات اعیاد مذهبی را که خداوند تعیین فرمود به قوم اسرائیل ابلاغ کرد.

⁴⁰You shall take on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before Yahweh your God seven days.

⁴¹You shall keep it a feast to Yahweh seven days in the year: it is a statute forever throughout your generations; you shall keep it in the seventh month.

⁴²You shall dwell in booths seven days. All who are native-born in Israel shall dwell in booths,

⁴³that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.’”

⁴⁴Moses declared to the children of Israel the appointed feasts of Yahweh.
