¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹خداوند به موسی فرمود: «به قوم اسرائیل هدایت بده که روغن خالص زیتون را برای چراغهای خیمه بیاورند و چراغها باید همیشه روشن باشند.

²“Command the children of Israel, that they bring to you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.

²هارون هر شام چراغدان طلای خالص را در خیمۀ حضور خداوند، بیرون پرده ای که در مقابل صندوق پیمان است، با روغن زیتون پُر کند تا شب و روز در حضور من روشن باشد. این حکم برای همیشه، نسل بعد از نسل در اسرائیل فریضۀ ابدی است.

³Outside of the veil of the Testimony, in the Tent of Meeting, shall Aaron keep it in order from evening to morning before Yahweh continually: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations.

³با دوازده کیلو آرد دوازده قرص نان بپزد و آن ها را در دو قطار شش تائی بر سر میزی که از طلای خالص ساخته شده است و در حضور من قرار دارد، بگذارد.

⁴He shall keep in order the lamps on the pure gold lampstand before Yahweh continually.

⁴بر هر قطار نان، کُندُر خالص بگذارد تا بعنوان نمونه ای از نان، بر آتش بحضور من تقدیم کند.

⁵“You shall take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes of it: two tenth parts of an ephah 1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel shall be in one cake.

⁵هارون همیشه در هر سَبَت این مراسم را بحیث یک پیمان ابدی از طرف قوم اسرائیل اجراء نماید.

⁶You shall set them in two rows, six on a row, on the pure gold table before Yahweh.

⁶این نان ها به هارون و پسرانش تعلق داشته آن ها را باید در یک جای مقدس بخورند، زیرا این هدیه مقدسترین هدیه هائی است که بحضور من تقدیم می شود.»

⁷You shall put pure frankincense on each row, that it may be to the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

⁷باری مردی که پدرش مصری و مادرش یک اسرائیلی بنام شلومیت، دختر دِبری، از قبیلۀ دان بود، در اردوگاه با یکی از مردان اسرائیلی جنگ کرد. در اثنای جنگ، آن مرد به خداوند کفر گفت و او را پیش موسی آوردند.

⁸Every Sabbath day he shall set it in order before Yahweh continually. It is on the behalf of the children of Israel an everlasting covenant.

⁸او را در زندان انداختند تا ببینند که رضای خداوند در مورد او چه خواهد بود.

⁹It shall be for Aaron and his sons; and they shall eat it in a holy place: for it is most holy to him of the offerings of Yahweh made by fire by a perpetual statute.”

⁹خداوند به موسی فرمود: «آن مرد را از اردوگاه بیرون برده و همه کسانی که کفر گفتن او را شنیدند دستهای خود را بر او بگذارند و آنگاه تمام قوم اسرائیل او را سنگسار کنند.

¹⁰The son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel; and the son of the Israelite woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp.

¹⁰به قوم اسرائیل بگو هر کسی که به خدای خود کفر بگوید باید به سزای عملش برسد و بمیرد

¹¹The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. His mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

¹¹و تمام مردم اسرائیل او را سنگسار کنند. این یک فریضۀ ابدی است در مورد مردم اسرائیل و همچنین بیگانگانی که در بین شان زندگی می کنند.

¹²They put him in custody, until the will of Yahweh should be declared to them.

¹²هر کسی که مرتکب قتل گردد باید کشته شود.

¹³Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹³اگر کسی حیوانی را که متعلق به او نیست، بکشد، باید عوض آن را به صاحبش بدهد ـ جان بعوض جان.

¹⁴“Bring out of the camp him who cursed; and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹⁴هرگاه شخصی به کس دیگری صدمه برساند، او هم باید همان صدمه را ببیند.

¹⁵You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.

¹⁵اگر استخوان کسی را بشکند، استخوان او نیز باید شکسته شود. هرگاه کسی چشم شخص دیگری را کور می کند، باید چشم خودش هم کور شود. و اگر دندان کسی را می شکند، دندان او را نیز بشکنند. هرگاه شخص دیگری را زخمی کند، خود او هم باید زخمی شود.

¹⁶He who blasphemes the name of Yahweh, he shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him: the foreigner as well as the native-born, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.

¹⁶هر کسی که یک حیوان را می کشد، باید عوض آن را بدهد. و اگر شخص دیگری را می کشد، خودش هم کشته شود.

¹⁷“‘He who strikes any man mortally shall surely be put to death.

¹⁷همین قانون در مورد شما و همچنین بیگانگانی که در بین شما ساکن هستند یک فریضۀ ابدی است، زیرا من خداوند، خدای شما هستم.»پس موسی اینها را به مردم گفت و آنگاه آن مرد را به بیرون اردوگاه برده سنگسارش کردند. و مردم اسرائیل مطابق فرمان خداوند عمل نمودند.

¹⁸He who strikes an animal mortally shall make it good, life for life.

¹⁸پس موسی اینها را به مردم گفت و آنگاه آن مرد را به بیرون اردوگاه برده سنگسارش کردند. و مردم اسرائیل مطابق فرمان خداوند عمل نمودند.

¹⁹If anyone injures his neighbor; as he has done, so shall it be done to him:

²⁰fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he has injured someone, so shall it be done to him.

²¹He who kills an animal shall make it good; and he who kills a man shall be put to death.

²²You shall have one kind of law, for the foreigner as well as the native-born: for I am Yahweh your God.’”

²³Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they brought out him who had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. The children of Israel did as Yahweh commanded Moses.
