¹Yahweh said to Moses in Mount Sinai,

¹خداوند بر کوه سینا این هدایات را به موسی داد: «به قوم اسرائیل بگو که وقتی به این سرزمینی که به شما می دهم آمدید، هر هفت سال یکبار بگذارید که زمین من استراحت کند.

²“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you come into the land which I give you, then the land shall keep a Sabbath to Yahweh.

²شش سال در زمین های خود کشت و زراعت کنید، درختان انگور را تاک بُری نمائید و محصولات خود را جمع کنید.

³Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather in its fruits;

³اما در سال هفتم زمین را به خداوند وقف نمائید و در آن چیزی نکارید و تاک بُری نکنید.

⁴but in the seventh year there shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a Sabbath to Yahweh. You shall not sow your field or prune your vineyard.

⁴نباتات خودرو را که در زمین شما می رویند درو نکنید و همچنین انگور را از درختانی که تاک بُری نشده اند برای خود نچینید. آن سال برای زمین، سال استراحت است.

⁵What grows of itself in your harvest you shall not reap, and the grapes of your undressed vine you shall not gather. It shall be a year of solemn rest for the land.

⁵گرچه در آن سال کشت و زراعت نمی شود، اما برای شما و غلام، کنیز و کارگران تان و همچنین بیگانگانی که در بین شما زندگی می کنند خوراک تهیه می کند.

⁶The Sabbath of the land shall be for food for you; for yourself, for your servant, for your maid, for your hired servant, and for your stranger, who lives as a foreigner with you.

⁶رمه و گلۀ شما و جانوران وحشی هم باید از محصول زمین بخورند.

⁷For your livestock also, and for the animals that are in your land, shall all its increase be for food.

⁷برای خود هفت سالهای سَبَت بشمار، یعنی هفت در هفت سال که جمعاً چهل و نُه سال شود.

⁸“‘You shall count off seven Sabbaths of years, seven times seven years; and there shall be to you the days of seven Sabbaths of years, even forty-nine years.

⁸در روز دهم ماهِ هفتم همان سال که روز کَفاره است، در سراسر کشور تان شیپورها را با آواز بلند بصدا آورید.

⁹Then you shall sound the loud trumpet on the tenth day of the seventh month. On the Day of Atonement you shall sound the trumpet throughout all your land.

⁹به این ترتیب سال پنجاهم را مقدس شمرده به همه باشندگان کشور اعلان آزادی داده شود. این سال برای شما سال «یوبیل»، یعنی سال تجلیل، خواهد بود. در ظرف این سال همه دارائی مردمی که فروخته شده بودند دوباره به صاحبان اصلی یا بازماندگان شان سپرده شوند.

¹⁰You shall make the fiftieth year holy, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee to you; and each of you shall return to his own property, and each of you shall return to his family.

¹⁰در سال پنجاهم نه چیزی در زمین تان بکارید، نه محصول آنرا درو کنید و نه انگورهای تان را بچینید.

¹¹That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee to you. In it you shall not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself, nor gather from the undressed vines.

¹¹سال پنجاهم، سال مقدس است و در این سال هر چیزی را که در زمین می روید بخورید.

¹²For it is a jubilee; it shall be holy to you. You shall eat of its increase out of the field.

¹²در ظرف سال پنجاهم هر کسی باید به مُلک و جای خود برگردد.

¹³“‘In this Year of Jubilee each of you shall return to his property.

¹³در معاملۀ خرید و فروش زمین صادق و با انصاف باشید.

¹⁴“‘If you sell anything to your neighbor, or buy from your neighbor, you shall not wrong one another.

¹⁴قیمت آن باید نظر به تعداد سالهائی که به سال پنجاهم آینده مانده است تعیین گردد.

¹⁵According to the number of years after the Jubilee you shall buy from your neighbor. According to the number of years of the crops he shall sell to you.

¹⁵یعنی اگر سالهای زیادی به سال پنجاهم مانده باشند، قیمت زمین زیاد و اگر سالهای کم مانده باشند از قیمت آن کاسته می شود. به این معنی که فروشنده قیمت محصولات سالهای آینده را از خریدار می گیرد.

¹⁶According to the length of the years you shall increase its price, and according to the shortness of the years you shall diminish its price; for he is selling the number of the crops to you.

¹⁶در معامله با برادران اسرائیلی تان صادق باشید و از من که خداوند و خدای شما هستم اطاعت کنید.

¹⁷You shall not wrong one another; but you shall fear your God: for I am Yahweh your God.

¹⁷اوامر و فرایض مرا بجا آورید تا در کشور تان به آسودگی و امنیت زندگی کنید.

¹⁸“‘Therefore you shall do my statutes, and keep my ordinances and do them; and you shall dwell in the land in safety.

¹⁸زمین محصول کافی بار می آورد و هر قدر که بخواهید می توانید از محصول آن بخورید و سیر شوید.

¹⁹The land shall yield its fruit, and you shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.

¹⁹بعضی خواهند پرسید: «پس در سال هفتم که هیچ کشت و زراعت نمی شود چه بخوریم؟»

²⁰If you said, “What shall we eat the seventh year? Behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase”;

²⁰جواب این است که من زمین را در سال ششم آنقدر برکت می دهم که برای سه سال محصول کافی بار آورند.

²¹then I will command my blessing on you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for the three years.

²¹و در سال هشتم وقتی شروع به جمع آوری محصول خود می کنید، هنوز هم خوراک کافی داشته باشید.

²²You shall sow the eighth year, and eat of the fruits, the old store; until the ninth year, until its fruits come in, you shall eat the old store.

²²زمین را نباید بصورت دایمی بفروشید، زیرا زمین متعلق به من است. شما مانند مسافری چند روز مهمان هستید و به شما اجازه می دهم که موقتاً از آن استفاده کنید.

²³“‘The land shall not be sold in perpetuity, for the land is mine; for you are strangers and live as foreigners with me.

²³وقتی زمین فروخته شد، مالک اصلی حق دارد که آنرا دوباره بخرد.

²⁴In all the land of your possession you shall grant a redemption for the land.

²⁴اگر یک برادر اسرائیلی شما تنگدست شود و مجبور گردد که زمین خود را بفروشد، پس یکی از نزدیکترین خویشاوندان او باید زمین را بازخرید کند.

²⁵“‘If your brother becomes poor, and sells some of his possessions, then his kinsman who is next to him shall come, and redeem that which his brother has sold.

²⁵هرگاه آن شخص کسی را نداشته باشد که زمینش را بازخرید کند، اما اگر بعد از مدتی خودش پول کافی به دست آورد که زمین را دوباره بخرد،

²⁶If a man has no one to redeem it, and he becomes prosperous and finds sufficient means to redeem it;

²⁶در آنصورت باید قیمت محصولاتی را که تا سال پنجاهم از زمین حاصل می شود پرداخته زمین را بازخرید نماید.

²⁷then let him reckon the years since its sale, and restore the surplus to the man to whom he sold it; and he shall return to his property.

²⁷و اگر توان بازخرید آن را نداشته باشد، زمین تا سال پنجاهم پیش خریدار باقی می ماند، اما در سال پنجاهم باید دوباره آن را به صاحب اصلی اش برگرداند.

²⁸But if he isn’t able to get it back for himself, then what he has sold shall remain in the hand of him who has bought it until the Year of Jubilee: and in the Jubilee it shall be released, and he shall return to his property.

²⁸هرگاه کسی خانۀ خود را که در بین شهر حصار دار واقع است بفروشد، او حق دارد که در ظرف یک سال آن را دوباره بخرد.

²⁹“‘If a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it has been sold. For a full year he shall have the right of redemption.

²⁹اگر بعد از یک سال نتواند آن را بازخرید کند، در آنصورت زمین به خریدار متعلق می شود و فروشنده نمی تواند در سال پنجاهم آنرا دوباره به دست آورد.

³⁰If it isn’t redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be made sure in perpetuity to him who bought it, throughout his generations. It shall not be released in the Jubilee.

³⁰اما اگر خانه در دهات بدون حصار واقع باشد، حکم زمین زراعتی را دارد. مالک اصلی حق بازخرید آن را دارد و آن را باید در سال پنجاهم به او برگرداند.

³¹But the houses of the villages which have no wall around them shall be reckoned with the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall be released in the Jubilee.

³¹اما لاویان هر وقتی که بخواهند می توانند مِلکیت خود را در شهرهائی که برای آن ها تعیین شده اند بازخرید کنند.

³²“‘Nevertheless the cities of the Levites, the houses in the cities of their possession, the Levites may redeem at any time.

³²اگر یکی از لاویان مِلکیت خود در یکی از آن شهرها بفروشد و نتواند آن را بازخرید کند، باید در سال پنجاهم آنرا دوباره به او برگردانند، زیرا خانه هائی را که لاویان در شهرها دارا می باشند مِلکیت دایمی آن ها هستند.

³³The Levites may redeem the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, and it shall be released in the Jubilee; for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.

³³اما لاویان نمی توانند کشتزار های اطراف شهر خود را بفروشند، چرا که آن ها مِلکیت دایمی آن ها می باشند.

³⁴But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.

³⁴هرگاه یکی از برادران اسرائیلی تو فقیر و تنگدست شود، به او کمک نما و او را به خانه ات بحیث مهمان بپذیر.

³⁵“‘If your brother has become poor, and his hand can’t support him among you; then you shall uphold him. He shall live with you like an alien and a temporary resident.

³⁵از او سودی نگیر، بلکه از خدای خود بترس و اجازه بده که برادر اسرائیلی ات با تو زندگی کند.

³⁶Take no interest from him or profit, but fear your God; that your brother may live among you.

³⁶از پولی که به او قرض می دهی سود نگیر و چون به او غذا می دهی توقع فایده را نداشته باش.

³⁷You shall not lend him your money at interest, nor give him your food for profit.

³⁷من خداوند، خدای شما هستم که شما را از مصر بیرون آوردم تا سرزمین کنعان را به شما بدهم و خودم خدای شما باشم.

³⁸I am Yahweh your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.

³⁸اگر یکی از برادران اسرائیلی تو فقیر شود و خود را به تو بفروشد، تو نباید با او مانند یک غلام رفتار کنی.

³⁹“‘If your brother has grown poor among you, and sells himself to you; you shall not make him to serve as a slave.

³⁹او باید مثل یک کارگر روز مزد و مهمان تا سال پنجاهم برای تو کار کند.

⁴⁰As a hired servant, and as a temporary resident, he shall be with you; he shall serve with you until the Year of Jubilee:

⁴⁰بعد از آن می تواند با اطفال خود خانۀ ترا ترک کند و به مُلک خود و پیش خانوادۀ خود برگردد.

⁴¹then he shall go out from you, he and his children with him, and shall return to his own family, and to the possession of his fathers.

⁴¹زیرا آن ها بندگان من هستند و من آن ها را از سرزمین مصر بیرون آوردم و نباید بحیث غلام فروخته شوند.

⁴²For they are my servants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt. They shall not be sold as slaves.

⁴²از خدا بترس و با او به زشتی رفتار مکن.

⁴³You shall not rule over him with harshness, but shall fear your God.

⁴³اگر به غلام و کنیز ضرورت داشته باشی، از اقوام همسایه خریداری کن.

⁴⁴“‘As for your male and your female slaves, whom you may have; of the nations that are around you, from them you may buy male and female slaves.

⁴⁴همچنین می توانید فرزندان بیگانگانی را که در بین شما زندگی می کنند هرچند در کشور تان بدنیا آمده باشند، بخرید.

⁴⁵Moreover of the children of the aliens who live among you, of them you may buy, and of their families who are with you, which they have conceived in your land; and they will be your property.

⁴⁵آن ها تا که زنده هستند غلام شما می باشند و می توانید آن ها را بعد از خود برای فرزندان تان واگذارید، اما شما نباید با برادران اسرائیلی خود بدرفتاری کنید.

⁴⁶You may make them an inheritance for your children after you, to hold for a possession; of them may you take your slaves forever: but over your brothers the children of Israel you shall not rule, one over another, with harshness.

⁴⁶اگر یکی از بیگانگانی که در بین شما زندگی می کند ثروتمند شود و یکی از برادران شما تنگدست گردد و خود را به آن بیگانه و یا نزدیکان او بفروشد،

⁴⁷“‘If an alien or temporary resident with you becomes rich, and your brother beside him has grown poor, and sells himself to the stranger or foreigner living among you, or to a member of the stranger’s family;

⁴⁷یکی از برادرانش یا کاکا و پسر کاکا و یا خویشاوندان نزدیکش می تواند او را بازخرید کند. یا اگر خودش پول کافی به دست آورد، می تواند خود را بازخرید نماید.

⁴⁸after he is sold he may be redeemed. One of his brothers may redeem him;

⁴⁸او باید سالها را از زمان فروخته شدنش تا سال پنجاهم بشمارد و مبلغ پول باید به اساس اجوره ای که یک کارگر در دوران همان سالها می گیرد، تعیین گردد.

⁴⁹or his uncle, or his uncle’s son, may redeem him, or any who is a close relative to him of his family may redeem him; or if he has grown rich, he may redeem himself.

⁴⁹اگر تا سال پنجاهم مدت زیادی باقی مانده باشد، پول زیادی بپردازد، هرگاه سالهای کمی باقی مانده باشد، پول کمتری بدهد.

⁵⁰He shall reckon with him who bought him from the year that he sold himself to him to the Year of Jubilee: and the price of his sale shall be according to the number of years; according to the time of a hired servant shall he be with him.

⁵⁰با او بحیث یک کارگر معامله شود، گرچه او خود را بعنوان غلام به یک بیگانه فروخته باشد و نباید با او به زشتی رفتار شود.

⁵¹If there are yet many years, according to them he shall give back the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.

⁵¹اگر او با این شرایط آزاد نشود، او و فرزندانش باید در سال پنجاهم آزاد گردند.چون قوم اسرائیل بندگان من هستند و بخاطری که آن ها را از مصر بیرون آوردم، کسی حق ندارد آن ها را غلام دایمی خود سازد. من خداوند، خدای شما هستم.»

⁵²If there remain but a few years to the year of jubilee, then he shall reckon with him; according to his years of service he shall give back the price of his redemption.

⁵²چون قوم اسرائیل بندگان من هستند و بخاطری که آن ها را از مصر بیرون آوردم، کسی حق ندارد آن ها را غلام دایمی خود سازد. من خداوند، خدای شما هستم.»

⁵³As a servant hired year by year shall he be with him: he shall not rule with harshness over him in your sight.

⁵⁴If he isn’t redeemed by these means, then he shall be released in the Year of Jubilee, he, and his children with him.

⁵⁵For to me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought out of the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.
