²کاهنان: سَرایا، عَزَریا، ارمیا، فَشحور، اَمَریا، مَلکیا، حطوش، شَبَنیا، مَلوک، حاریم، مریموت، عوبَدیا، دانیال، جِنتون، باروک، مَشُلام، اَبِیا، مِیامین، مَعَزیا، بِلجای، شِمَعیه.

³Pashhur, Amariah, Malchijah,

³لاویان: یشوع (پسر اَزَنیا)، بِنوی (پسر حیناداد)، قَدمی ئیل، شَبَنیا، هودویا و قَلیطا، فَلایا، حانان، میخا، رِحوب، حَشَبیا، زَکور، شرَبیا، شَبَنیا، هودویا، بانی، بِنینو.

⁴Hattush, Shebaniah, Malluch,

⁴سران قوم: فرعوش، فَحَت مواب، عیلام، زتو، بانی، بونی، عزجد، ببای، اَدُونیا، بِغوای، عادین، عاتیر، حِزقِیا، عزور، هودویا، حاشوم، بیسای، حاریف، عَناتوت، نِیبای، مَجفیعاش، مَشُلام، حَزیر، مِشیزَبئیل، صادوق، یدوع، فِلتیا، حانان، عَنایا، هوشع، حَنَنیا، حَشوب، هَلوحیش، فِلحا، شوبیق، رِحوم، حَشَبنا، مَعَسیا، اخیا، حانان، عانان، مَلوک، حاریم و بعنه.

⁵ما مردم اسرائیل، کاهنان، لاویان، نگهبانان، سرایندگان، خادمان عبادتگاه و تمام کسانی که با زنان، پسران و دختران بالغ خویش که با اطاعت از تورات خدا، خود را از اقوام بیگانه جدا کرده ایم،

⁶Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch,

⁶به این وسیله با خویشاوندان و سران قوم خود متحد شده قسم می خوریم که از احکام خدا که توسط بنده اش، موسی به ما داده شد، اطاعت کنیم؛ و اگر از احکام و اوامر او سرپیچی کنیم، لعنت خدا بر ما باد.

⁷Meshullam, Abijah, Mijamin,

⁷قول می دهیم که نه دختران خود را به پسران غیر یهودی بدهیم و نه بگذاریم که پسران ما با دختران غیر یهودی ازدواج کنند.

⁸Maaziah, Bilgai, Shemaiah; these were the priests.

⁸همچنین قول می دهیم که اگر اقوام بیگانه در روز سَبَت یا یکی از روزهای مقدسِ دیگر بخواهند به ما غله یا چیز دیگری بفروشند، از آن ها نخریم و هر هفت سال یک بار چیزی در زمین نکاریم و قرض های خود را ببخشیم.

⁹The Levites: namely, Jeshua the son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel;

⁹عهد می کنیم که هر سال هر یک از ما یک سوم مثقال نقره برای مخارج عبادتگاه تقدیم کنیم.

¹⁰and their brothers, Shebaniah, Hodiah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan,

¹⁰یعنی برای نان مقدس، هدیۀ آردی و قربانیهای سوختنی روزانه، قربانیهای روزهای سَبَت، جشنهای ماه نو، جشنهای سالانه، هدایای مقدس دیگر، قربانی گناه برای کفارۀ قوم اسرائیل و برای تمام خدمات عبادتگاه خدای ما.

¹¹Mica, Rehob, Hashabiah,

¹¹ما کاهنان، لاویان و مردم قول می دهیم که مطابق امر تورات، هیزم مورد نیاز قربانگاه عبادتگاه خداوند، خدای خود را تهیه کنیم و هر سال قرعه خواهیم انداخت تا معلوم شود که کدام قبیله باید این کار را انجام بدهد.

¹²Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah,

¹²قول می دهیم که محصول نوِ غله و میوۀ خود را هر سال به عبادتگاه بیاوریم.

¹³Hodiah, Bani, Beninu.

¹³قول می دهیم که پسران اولباری و همچنین اولباری های گله و رمۀ خود را مطابق هدایت تورات به عبادتگاه خدای خود بیاوریم و به دست کاهنانی که در آنجا خدمت می کنند، بسپاریم.

¹⁴The chiefs of the people: Parosh, Pahathmoab, Elam, Zattu, Bani,

¹⁴همچنین قول می دهیم خمیری را که از محصولِ نوِ غله تهیه می کنیم، همراه با محصول نوِ انواع میوه ها و شراب تازه و روغن زیتون خود به کاهنانی که در عبادتگاه خدا مؤظف هستند، بدهیم. ما یکدهمِ د تمام محصولات زمین خود را به لاویانی که در دهاتِ ما مسئول جمع آوری هدایا هستند، بدهیم.

¹⁵Bunni, Azgad, Bebai,

¹⁵در وقت جمع آوری ده فیصد، کاهنی (که از اولادۀ هارون است) همراه لاویان خواهد بود و لاویان یکدهمِ ده فیصدها را به خانۀ خدای ما می آورند و در آنجا ذخیره می کنند.ما مردم اسرائیل و لاویان، این هدایای غله، شرابِ تازه و روغن زیتون را به عبادتگاه خدا می آوریم و در اطاقهائی که وسایل خانۀ خدا نگهداری می شوند و کاهنان، نگهبانان و سرایندگان در آنجا زندگی می کنند، انبار می کنیم. قول می دهیم که از خانۀ خدا غافل نشویم.

¹⁶ما مردم اسرائیل و لاویان، این هدایای غله، شرابِ تازه و روغن زیتون را به عبادتگاه خدا می آوریم و در اطاقهائی که وسایل خانۀ خدا نگهداری می شوند و کاهنان، نگهبانان و سرایندگان در آنجا زندگی می کنند، انبار می کنیم. قول می دهیم که از خانۀ خدا غافل نشویم.

²⁸The rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinim, and all those who had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands to the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, everyone who had knowledge, and understanding—

²⁹they joined with their brothers, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God’s law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of Yahweh our Lord, and his ordinances and his statutes;

³⁰and that we would not give our daughters to the peoples of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons;

³¹and if the peoples of the land bring wares or any grain on the Sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy of them on the Sabbath, or on a holy day; and that we would forego the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.

³²Also we made ordinances for ourselves, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God;

³³for the show bread, and for the continual meal offering, and for the continual burnt offering, for the Sabbaths, for the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.

³⁴We cast lots, the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, according to our fathers’ houses, at times appointed, year by year, to burn on the altar of Yahweh our God, as it is written in the law;

³⁵and to bring the first fruits of our ground, and the first fruits of all fruit of all kinds of trees, year by year, to the house of Yahweh;

³⁶also the firstborn of our sons, and of our livestock, as it is written in the law, and the firstborn of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, to the priests who minister in the house of our God;

³⁷and that we should bring the first fruits of our dough, and our wave offerings, and the fruit of all kinds of trees, the new wine and the oil, to the priests, to the rooms of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground to the Levites; for they, the Levites, take the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.

³⁸The priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes to the house of our God, to the rooms, into the treasure house.

³⁹For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the wave offering of the grain, of the new wine, and of the oil, to the rooms, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests who minister, and the porters, and the singers. We will not forsake the house of our God.
