1Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
1در ماه اول سال دوم، پس از آنکه قوم اسرائیل کشور مصر را ترک کردند، خداوند در بیابان سینا به موسی فرمود:
2“Moreover let the children of Israel keep the Passover in its appointed season.
2«قوم اسرائیل هنگام شام روز چهاردهم همین ماه مراسم عید فِصَح را برگزار کنند. برای تجلیل این مراسم از هدایاتی که من داده ام پیروی نمایند.»
3On the fourteenth day of this month, at evening, you shall keep it in its appointed season—according to all its statutes, and according to all its ordinances, you shall keep it.”
3پس موسی قراریکه خداوند هدایت فرموده بود، به مردم اسرائیل گفت که عید فِصَح را برگزار کنند
4Moses spoke to the children of Israel, that they should keep the Passover.
4و در شام روز چهاردهم ماه اول سال دوم مراسم عید را طبق هدایت خداوند در بیابان سینا برپا نمودند.
5They kept the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did.
5اما یک تعداد از مردان نتوانستند که در این مراسم شرکت کنند، زیرا در اثر تماس با جسد مُرده شرعاً نجس شده بودند. آن ها پیش موسی و هارون رفته
6There were certain men, who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day.
6گفتند: «ما در اثر تماس با جنازه نجس شده ایم. چرا ما نباید مثل سایر مردم در این عید، قربانی های خود را به خداوند تقدیم کنیم؟»
7Those men said to him, “We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season among the children of Israel?”
7موسی به آن ها گفت: «صبر کنید من از خداوند در این باره مصلحت می خواهم.»
8Moses answered them, “Wait, that I may hear what Yahweh will command concerning you.”
8خداوند به موسی فرمود: «اگر یکی از شما و یا اولادۀ شما در اثر تماس با جسد مرده نجس شود یا در سفر باشد و نتواند در مراسم عید اشتراک نماید، بازهم می تواند عید فِصَح را تجلیل کند.
9Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
9یک ماه بعد از عید، یعنی در شام ماه دوم می تواند عید را با خوردن برۀ فِصَح، نان بدون خمیرمایه و سبزیجات تلخ تجلیل کند.
10“Say to the children of Israel, ‘If any man of you or of your generations is unclean by reason of a dead body, or is on a journey far away, he shall still keep the Passover to Yahweh.
10او نباید چیزی را باقی بگذارد یا استخوانِ از آن را بشکند و باید از تمام هدایاتی که در این مورد داده ام پیروی کند.
11In the second month, on the fourteenth day at evening they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
11اما کسی که نجس و یا مسافر نباشد و از اجرای مراسم عید فِصَح خودداری کند باید از بین قوم طرد شود، زیرا قربانی خود را به خداوند در وقت معینش تقدیم نکرده است و آن شخص گناهکار شمرده می شود.
12They shall leave none of it until the morning, nor break a bone of it. According to all the statute of the Passover they shall keep it.
12اگر یک نفر بیگانه در بین شما سکونت دارد او هم می تواند مراسم عید فِصَح را با پیروی از مقررات آن برای خداوند تجلیل کند. پیروی از این مقررات هم برای بیگانگان و هم برای قوم اسرائیل لازم است.»
13But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Passover, that soul shall be cut off from his people. Because he didn’t offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
13در روزیکه خیمۀ حضور خداوند را برپا کردند، ابری خیمه را پوشاند. و در شام همان روز، آن ابر به شکل آتش درآمد و تا صبح بالای خیمه باقی ماند.
14“‘If a foreigner lives among you, and desires to keep the Passover to Yahweh; according to the statute of the Passover, and according to its ordinance, so shall he do. You shall have one statute, both for the foreigner, and for him who is born in the land.’”
14به همین ترتیب، ابر همیشه در روز خیمه را می پوشاند و هنگام شب به شکل آتش در می آمد.
15On the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the Tent of the Testimony: and at evening it was over the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until morning.
15هر وقتی که ابر از بالای خیمه حرکت می کرد مردم اسرائیل هم براه می افتادند. و در هر جائی که ابر توقف می کرد مردم هم در همانجا اردو می زدند.
16So it was continually. The cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night.
16قوم اسرائیل به امر خداوند به سفر خود ادامه می دادند و به امر او هم توقف کرده اردو می زدند.
17Whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Tent, then after that the children of Israel traveled; and in the place where the cloud remained, there the children of Israel encamped.
17حتی اگر ابر بالای خیمه مدت زیادی هم توقف می کرد قوم اسرائیل قرار امر خداوند در همانجا می ماندند.
18At the commandment of Yahweh, the children of Israel traveled, and at the commandment of Yahweh they encamped. As long as the cloud remained on the tabernacle they remained encamped.
18بعضی اوقات ابر بالای خیمه برای چند روز توقف می کرد، آن ها هم به پیروی از حکم خداوند در خیمه های خود باقی می ماندند. و بعد هم به امر خداوند حرکت می کردند.
19When the cloud stayed on the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept Yahweh’s command, and didn’t travel.
19گاهی ابر تا صبح توقف می کرد و صبح روز دیگر براه می افتاد، اما خواه شب می بود خواه روز، وقتی که ابر حرکت می کرد، قوم اسرائیل هم با راهنمائی ابر کوچ می کردند.
20Sometimes the cloud was a few days on the tabernacle; then according to the commandment of Yahweh they remained encamped, and according to the commandment of Yahweh they traveled.
20اگر ابر دو روز، یک ماه و یا تا یک وقت طولانی بالای خیمۀ حضور خداوند توقف می نمود، مردم اسرائیل هم از جای خود حرکت نمی کردند و بمجردی که ابر براه می افتاد، آن ها هم بدنبالش می رفتند.به این ترتیب، قوم اسرائیل به امر خداوند حرکت می کردند و به امر خداوند خیمه های خود را می افراشتند و هر هدایتی که خداوند به موسی می داد آن ها طبق آن رفتار می کردند.
21Sometimes the cloud was from evening until morning; and when the cloud was taken up in the morning, they traveled: or by day and by night, when the cloud was taken up, they traveled.
21به این ترتیب، قوم اسرائیل به امر خداوند حرکت می کردند و به امر خداوند خیمه های خود را می افراشتند و هر هدایتی که خداوند به موسی می داد آن ها طبق آن رفتار می کردند.
22Whether it was two days, or a month, or a year that the cloud stayed on the tabernacle, remaining on it, the children of Israel remained encamped, and didn’t travel; but when it was taken up, they traveled.
23At the commandment of Yahweh they encamped, and at the commandment of Yahweh they traveled. They kept Yahweh’s command, at the commandment of Yahweh by Moses.
