1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
1خدا پناهگاه و قوّت ماست و در وقت سختی ها مددگار قابل اعتماد.
2Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas;
2بنابران ترسی نداریم، اگر چه دنیا ویران شود و کوهها در قعر اوقیانوسها فروریزند،
3though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling. Selah.
3یا آب های بحر غرش کنند و به جوش آیند و کوهها از سرکشی آن لرزان گردند.
4There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High.
4نهریست که شاخه هایش شهر خدا را شادمان می سازد و مسکن مقدس خداوند متعال را.
5God is in her midst. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn.
5خدا در وسط اوست، پس آن شهر از ویرانی در امان است. خدا در طلوع صبح او را کمک می کند.
6The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved. He lifted his voice, and the earth melted.
6امت ها غرش می کنند و مملکت ها بیجا می گردند. او آواز خود را می دهد، پس زمین ذوب می گردد.
7Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
7خداوند قادر مطلق با ماست و خدای یعقوب پناهگاه ما.
8Come, see Yahweh’s works, what desolations he has made in the earth.
8بیائید کارهای خداوند را مشاهده کنید و عجایب او را در روی زمین.
9He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire.
9او جنگها را در سراسر جهان خاتمه می دهد. کمان را می شکند، نیزه را قطع می کند و ارابه ها را به آتش می سوزاند.
10“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.”
