¹Listen to my prayer, God. Don’t hide yourself from my supplication.

¹ای خدا به دعای من گوش بده و وقتیکه به حضور تو زاری می کنم خود را از من پنهان مکن.

²Attend to me, and answer me. I am restless in my complaint, and moan,

²دعای مرا بشنو و مستجاب فرما، زیرا که فکرم پریشان است و ناله می کنم.

³Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the oppression of the wicked. For they bring suffering on me. In anger they hold a grudge against me.

³به سبب آواز دشمن و ظلم شریر. آن ها نسبت به من ظلم نموده و با خشم بر من جفا می کنند.

⁴My heart is severely pained within me. The terrors of death have fallen on me.

⁴دل من در اندرونم می لرزد و وحشت مرگ مرا فرا گرفته است.

⁵Fearfulness and trembling have come on me. Horror has overwhelmed me.

⁵ترس و لرز به من وارد شده و وحشتی هولناک احاطه ام کرده است.

⁶I said, “Oh that I had wings like a dove! Then I would fly away, and be at rest.

⁶می گویم: «کاش مثل کبوتر بال می داشتم تا پرواز کرده و آرامی می یافتم.

⁷Behold, then I would wander far off. I would lodge in the wilderness.” Selah.

⁷پس به یک جای دوردست رفته و ساکن صحرا می شدم،

⁸و بسوی پناهگاهی می شتافتم تا از باد تُند و طوفان شدید در امان باشم.»

⁹Confuse them, Lord, and confound their language, for I have seen violence and strife in the city.

⁹ای خداوند شریران را چنان سراسیمه گردان که زبان یکدیگر را نفهمند، زیرا در شهر ظلم و جنگ می بینم.

¹⁰Day and night they prowl around on its walls. Malice and abuse are also within her.

¹⁰شب و روز دیوارهایش را دور می زنند و شرارت و مزاحمت در شهر است.

¹¹Destructive forces are within her. Threats and lies don’t depart from her streets.

¹¹فسق و فساد در میان آن است و جور و خیانت از کوچه هایش دور نمی شود.

¹²For it was not an enemy who insulted me, then I could have endured it. Neither was it he who hated me who raised himself up against me, then I would have hidden myself from him.

¹²اگر دشمن مرا ملامت می نمود، تحمل می کردم و یا اگر خصم من بر من سرافرازی می نمود، خود را از وی پنهان می ساختم،

¹³But it was you, a man like me, my companion, and my familiar friend.

¹³اما تو بودی ای مرد نظیر من! ای یار خالص و دوست صدیق من.

¹⁴We took sweet fellowship together. We walked in God’s house with company.

¹⁴که صحبتهای شیرین با هم می کردیم و یکجا در جمع مردم به عبادتگاه می رفتیم.

¹⁵Let death come suddenly on them. Let them go down alive into Sheol Sheol is the place of the dead. . For wickedness is in their dwelling, in their midst.

¹⁵مرگ ناگهانی بر ایشان آید و زنده بگور فرو روند، زیرا شرارت در خانه های ایشان و در میان ایشان است.

¹⁶As for me, I will call on God. Yahweh will save me.

¹⁶اما من نزد خدا فریاد می کنم و خداوند مرا نجات می دهد.

¹⁷Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice.

¹⁷شامگاهان و صبح و ظهر شکایت و ناله را سر می دهم و او آواز مرا می شنود.

¹⁸He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, although there are many who oppose me.

¹⁸جانم را از جنگی که بر من شده بود به سلامتی فدیه داده است، زیرا مخالفان من بسیار اند.

¹⁹God, who is enthroned forever, will hear, and answer them. Selah. They never change, who don’t fear God.

¹⁹خدا که پادشاه ازلی است می شنود و آن ها را شکست می دهد، زیرا که ایشان اصلاح ناپذیر بوده و از خدا نمی ترسند.

²⁰He raises his hands against his friends. He has violated his covenant.

²⁰دست خود را بر صلح اندیشان خویش دراز کرده و عهد خویش را شکسته است.

²¹His mouth was smooth as butter, but his heart was war. His words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords.

²¹سخنان چرب و نرم در زبانش، لیکن جنگ در باطن او است. حرفهایش چرب تر از روغن، ولی مثل شمشیر تیز و بُران اند.

²²Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.

²²بار تمام تشویش های خود را به خداوند بسپار و او از تو حمایت می کند. او هرگز نمی گذارد که شخص عادل بیفتد.تو ای خدا، مردمان خونریز و حیله گر را به قعر گودال نیستی سرنگون کن و عمر ایشان را کوتاه ساز. لیکن من بر تو توکل می کنم.

²³But you, God, will bring them down into the pit of destruction. Bloodthirsty and deceitful men shall not live out half their days, but I will trust in you.

²³تو ای خدا، مردمان خونریز و حیله گر را به قعر گودال نیستی سرنگون کن و عمر ایشان را کوتاه ساز. لیکن من بر تو توکل می کنم.
