¹I saw that the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as with a voice of thunder, “Come and see!”

¹در آن هنگام که بره، اولین مُهر از آن هفت مُهر را شکست، من می دیدم و می شنیدم، که یکی از آن حیوانات با صدایی مانند رعد می گوید: «بیا»

²And behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow. A crown was given to him, and he came forth conquering, and to conquer.

²و ناگهان اسپ سفیدی را دیدم که سوار آن کمانی به دست داشت و تاجی به او داده شد و او پیروزمندانه برای پیروزی برآمد.

³When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come!”

³وقتی بره، دومین مُهر را باز کرد، شنیدم حیوان دوم گفت: «بیا»

⁴Another came forth, a red horse. To him who sat on it was given power to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another. There was given to him a great sword.

⁴و اسپ دیگری که سرخ رنگ بود بیرون آمد و به سوار آن قدرت داده شد تا صلح را از روی زمین بردارد تا انسان ها یکدیگر را بکشند و همچنین به او شمشیر بزرگی داده شد.

⁵When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “Come and see!” And behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a balance in his hand.

⁵وقتی بره، سومین مُهر را باز کرد، شنیدم که حیوان سوم گفت: «بیا» آنگاه نگاه کردم و اسپ سیاهی را دیدم که سوارش ترازویی به دست داشت

⁶I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A choenix A choenix is a dry volume measure that is a little more than a litre (a little more than a quart). of wheat for a denarius, and three choenix of barley for a denarius! Don’t damage the oil and the wine!”

⁶و صدایی از میان آن حیوانات به گوشم رسید که می گفت: «قیمت یک چارک گندم و یا سه چارک جَو، مزد یک روز کار خواهد بود. به روغن زیتون و شراب ضرری مرسان.»

⁷When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see!”

⁷زمانی که او چهارمین مُهر را باز کرد، صدای حیوان چهارم را شنیدم که می گفت: «بیا»

⁸And behold, a pale horse, and he who sat on it, his name was Death. Hades or, Hell followed with him. Authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, with famine, with death, and by the wild animals of the earth was given to him.

⁸وقتی به آنجا نگاه کردم، اسپ رنگ پریده ای را دیدم که نام سوارش مرگ بود و دنیای مردگان به دنبالش می آمد. به او قدرتی داده شد تا یک چهارم زمین را با شمشیر و گرسنگی و امراض مهلک و حیوانات وحشی از بین ببرد.

⁹When he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been killed for the Word of God, and for the testimony of the Lamb which they had.

⁹وقتی پنجمین مُهر را باز کرد، در زیر قربانگاه ارواح کسانی را دیدم که به خاطر کلام خدا و اعتراف ایمان خود شهید شده بودند.

¹⁰They cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, Master, the holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

¹⁰آن ها با صدای بلند فریاد زدند: «ای خداوند قدوس و راستین، تا به کی بر ساکنان زمین داوری نمی کنی و انتقام خون ما را از آن ها نمی گیری؟»

¹¹A long white robe was given to each of them. They were told that they should rest yet for a while, until their fellow servants and their brothers, The word for “brothers” here and where context allows may also be correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” who would also be killed even as they were, should complete their course.

¹¹به هر یک از آن ها ردای سفیدی دادند و به آن ها گفته شد، که اندکی دیگر بیارامند تا تعداد همقطاران و برادران شان که می باید مثل آنها کشته شوند، کامل گردد.

¹²I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became as blood.

¹²آنگاه وقتی بره، ششمین مُهر را باز کرد، دیدم که زلزلۀ شدیدی رخ داد. آفتاب مانند بوجی درشت سیاه شد و مهتاب، کاملاً مثل خون سرخ شد

¹³The stars of the sky fell to the earth, like a fig tree dropping its unripe figs when it is shaken by a great wind.

¹³و ستارگان آسمان مانند انجیرهایی که از تندباد به زمین می ریزند، فرو ریختند.

¹⁴The sky was removed like a scroll when it is rolled up. Every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

¹⁴آسمان مانند طوماری در هم پیچیده ای ناپدید شد و همۀ کوه ها و جزیره ها از جای خود حرکت کردند،

¹⁵The kings of the earth, the princes, the commanding officers, the rich, the strong, and every slave and free person, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains.

¹⁵و پادشاهان و فرمانروایان زمین، سرلشکران و توانگران، زورمندان و همۀ انسانها چه برده و چه آزاد، خود را در غارها و در میان صخره های کوه ها پنهان ساختند.

¹⁶They told the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,

¹⁶و به کوه و صخره ها گفتند: «به روی ما بیفتید و ما را از چهرۀ تخت نشین و از خشم و غضب بره پنهان کنید،زیرا روز عظیم خشم آن ها رسیده است، چه کسی می تواند آن روز را تحمل کند؟»

¹⁷for the great day of his wrath has come; and who is able to stand?”

¹⁷زیرا روز عظیم خشم آن ها رسیده است، چه کسی می تواند آن روز را تحمل کند؟»
