1After this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree.
1بعد از این چهار فرشته را دیدم، که در چهار گوشۀ زمین ایستاده بودند و جلوی چهار باد زمین را می گرفتند تا دیگر بادی بر بحر و خشکی و یا هیچ درختی نَوَزَد
2I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea,
2و فرشتۀ دیگری را دیدم که از مشرق بر می خاست و مُهر خدای زنده را در دست داشت و با صدای بلند به آن چهار فرشته که قدرت یافته بودند به خشکی و بحر ضرر برسانند، گفت:
3saying, “Don’t harm the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!”
3«تا آن زمان که ما مُهر خدای ما را بر پیشانی بندگانش نگذاریم، به بحر و خشکی و یا درختان ضرری نرسانید.»
4I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel:
4و شنیدم که تعداد کسانی که از همۀ قبایل بنی اسرائیل نشانۀ مُهر را دریافت داشته بودند، یکصد و چهل و چهار هزار بود.
5of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand, of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand,
5دوازده هزار از قبیلۀ یهودا، دوازده هزار از قبیله رؤبین، دوازده هزار از قبیلۀ جاد،
6of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand, of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand,
6دوازده هزار از قبیلۀ اَشیر، دوازده هزار از قبیلۀ نفتالی، دوازده هزار از قبیلۀ مَنَسّی،
7of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand, of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand, of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand,
7دوازده هزار از قبیلۀ شمعون، دوازده هزار از قبیلۀ لاوی، دوازده هزار از قبیلۀ ایسَسکار،
8of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand, of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand, of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
8دوازده هزار از قبیلۀ زبولون، دوازده هزار از قبیلۀ یوسف و دوازده هزار از قبیلۀ بنیامین.
9After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.
9بعد از این نگاه کردم و گروه بزرگی را دیدم که به شمار نمی آمد. از همۀ ملتها و همۀ قبایل و امتها و زبانها در پیش تخت سلطنت و در مقابل بره ایستاده بودند. آن ها لباس سفیدی به تن داشتند و شاخه ای از درخت خرما در دست شان بود
10They cried with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
10و با هم فریاد می زدند: «نجات ما از جانب خدایی است که بر تخت سلطنت می نشیند و از جانب بره است.»
11All the angels were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before his throne, and worshiped God,
11و همۀ فرشتگانی که در پیرامون تخت بودند، همراه با پیران و آن چهار حیوان در پیش تخت، روی بر زمین نهاده و خدا را عبادت کردند.
12saying, “Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”
12آن ها می گفتند: «آمین، حمد و جلال و حکمت، سپاس و حرمت، قدرت و قوّت از آنِ خدای ما باد، تا به ابد! آمین.»
13One of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are arrayed in white robes, who are they, and from where did they come?”
13آنگاه یکی از آن پیران به من خطاب کرده گفت: «این مردان سفید پوش چه کسانی هستند و اهل کجایند؟»
14I told him, “My lord, you know.” He said to me, “These are those who came out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb’s blood.
14من جواب دادم: «ای آقای من، تو می دانی.» بعد به من گفت: «اینها کسانی هستند که از آن عذاب سخت گذشته اند، ردا های خود را شسته و در خون بره سفید کرده اند.
15Therefore they are before the throne of God, they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them.
15به این سبب آن ها در برابر تخت خدا هستند و او را شب و روز در عبادتگاهش خدمت می کنند و آنها در سایۀ آن تخت نشین خواهند بود.
16They will never be hungry, neither thirsty any more; neither will the sun beat on them, nor any heat;
16آنها دیگر احساس گرسنگی یا تشنگی نخواهند کرد. آفتاب و یا هیچ گرمای سوزانی به آن ها ضرر نخواهد رسانید.زیرا آن بره که در مرکز تخت است، چوپان آنها خواهد بود و آنها را به چشمه های آب زندگی هدایت خواهد کرد و خدا همۀ اشکها را از چشمان آنها پاک خواهد کرد.»
17for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and leads them to springs of waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
17زیرا آن بره که در مرکز تخت است، چوپان آنها خواهد بود و آنها را به چشمه های آب زندگی هدایت خواهد کرد و خدا همۀ اشکها را از چشمان آنها پاک خواهد کرد.»
