¹When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

¹هنگامی که بره، هفتمین مُهر را باز کرد نزدیک نیم ساعت در آسمان خاموشی برقرار بود

²I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

²و من دیدم که هفت شیپور به هفت فرشته ای که در پیشگاه خدا ایستاده بودند، داده شد.

³Another angel came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer. Much incense was given to him, that he should add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne.

³در این وقت فرشته ای دیگر آمد و پیش قربانگاه ایستاد. او بُخُورسوزی از طلا به دست داشت و مقدار زیادی بُخُور به او داده شد تا به همراه دعاهای همۀ مقدسین بر قربانگاه طلاییِ پیش تخت سلطنت تقدیم نماید.

⁴The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand.

⁴دود بُخُور از دست آن فرشته همراه با دعاهای مقدسین به پیشگاه خدا بالا رفت.

⁵The angel took the censer, and he filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it on the earth. There followed thunders, sounds, lightnings, and an earthquake.

⁵فرشته، بُخُورسوز را برداشته آنرا از آتش قربانگاه پُر ساخت و آن را به روی زمین افگند. آنگاه رعد و برق و صدای ترسناکی برخاست و زمین لرزید.

⁶The seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

⁶هفت فرشته ای که هفت شیپور به دست داشتند، آماده شدند تا در آن ها بدمند.

⁷The first sounded, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. One third of the earth was burnt up, TR omits “One third of the earth was burnt up” and one third of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

⁷اولی در شیپور خود دمید و ژاله و آتش آمیخته با خون بارید و بر روی زمین فرو ریخت، ثلث زمین و ثلث درختان و همۀ سبزه ها سوختند.

⁸The second angel sounded, and something like a great burning mountain was thrown into the sea. One third of the sea became blood,

⁸دومین فرشته در شیپور خود دمید و چیزی مانند کوهی مشتعل به بحر افگنده شد و ثلث بحر به خون مبدل گردید

⁹and one third of the living creatures which were in the sea died. One third of the ships were destroyed.

⁹و ثلث موجودات زندۀ بحر مُردند و ثلث کشتی های آن غرق گشتند.

¹⁰The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch, and it fell on one third of the rivers, and on the springs of the waters.

¹⁰سومین فرشته در شیپور خود دمید و ستارۀ بزرگی که مانند مشعل بزرگ و سوزانی بود، از آسمان بر روی ثلث دریاها و چشمه سارها افتاد.

¹¹The name of the star is called “Wormwood.” One third of the waters became wormwood. Many people died from the waters, because they were made bitter.

¹¹نام آن ستاره، «اَفسَنتین» بود و ثلث آبها تلخ شد. و مردم بسیار از آبها که تلخ شده بود، مُردند.

¹²The fourth angel sounded, and one third of the sun was struck, and one third of the moon, and one third of the stars; so that one third of them would be darkened, and the day wouldn’t shine for one third of it, and the night in the same way.

¹²سپس چهارمین فرشته در شیپور خود دمید، چنان ضربه ای به ثلث آفتاب و ثلث ماه و ثلث ستارگان وارد شد، که یک سوم آن ها تاریک شدند و ثلث نور روز و ثلث نور شب از بین رفت.آنگاه من عقابی را دیدم که در آسمان پرواز می کرد و با صدای بلند می گفت: «وای، وای، وای بر ساکنان زمین، زیرا که هم اکنون سه فرشتۀ دیگر شیپورهای خود را خواهند دمید.»

¹³I saw, and I heard an eagle, TR reads “angel” instead of “eagle” flying in mid heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe for those who dwell on the earth, because of the other voices of the trumpets of the three angels, who are yet to sound!”

¹³آنگاه من عقابی را دیدم که در آسمان پرواز می کرد و با صدای بلند می گفت: «وای، وای، وای بر ساکنان زمین، زیرا که هم اکنون سه فرشتۀ دیگر شیپورهای خود را خواهند دمید.»
