¹Now these were the sons of David, who were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn, Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second, Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess;

¹ پسران داوود که در حبرون به دنیا آمدند عبارتند از: اَمنون، پسر اول او که مادرش اخینوعم یزرعیلی بود، دوم دانیال پسر ابیجایل کرملی،

²the third, Absalom the son of Maacah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith;

² سوم ابشالوم پسر معکه، دختر تلمای پادشاه جَشور، چهارم ادونیا، پسر حَجیت،

³the fifth, Shephatiah of Abital; the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife:

³ پنجم شفطیا پسر ابیطال و ششم یترعام پسر عجله بود.

⁴six were born to him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months. In Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years;

⁴ این شش پسر او در حبرون، جایی که مدّت هفت سال و شش ماه سلطنت کرد، متولّد شدند. بعد به اورشلیم مهاجرت نمود و در آنجا مدّت سی و سه سال دیگر پادشاهی کرد.

⁵and these were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bathshua the daughter of Ammiel;

⁵ در دوران اقامتش در اورشلیم دارای پسران دیگری هم شد که چهار نفر آنها را بتشبع، دختر عمیئیل به دنیا آورد. نامهای ایشان شمعی، شوباب، ناتان و سلیمان بودند.

⁶and Ibhar, and Elishama, and Eliphelet,

⁶ نُه نفر دیگر ایشان یَبحار، الیشوع، الیفالط،

⁷and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,

⁷ نوجه، نافج، یافیع،

⁸and Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.

⁸ الیشمع، الیاداع و الیفلط نام داشتند.

⁹All these were the sons of David, besides the sons of the concubines; and Tamar was their sister.

⁹ همهٔ اینها پسران داوود بودند. به غیراز ایشان پسران دیگر هم از صیغه‌‌های خود داشت. او همچنین دارای یک دختر به نام تامار بود.

¹⁰Solomon’s son was Rehoboam, Abijah his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,

¹⁰ این است نام فرزندان سلیمان که نسل به نسل به پادشاهی رسیدند: رحبعام، ابیا، آسا، یهوشافاط،

¹¹Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,

¹¹ یورام، اخزیا، یوآش،

¹²Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,

¹² امصیا، عزریا، یوتام،

¹³Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,

¹³ آحاز، حزقیا، منسی،

¹⁴Amon his son, Josiah his son.

¹⁴ امون، یوشیا.

¹⁵The sons of Josiah: the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.

¹⁵ پسران یوشیا: اولی یوحانان، دوّمی یهویاقیم، سومی صِدقیا و چهارمی شلوم.

¹⁶The sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.

¹⁶ پسران یهویاقیم: یَکُنیا و پسر او صدقیا.

¹⁷The sons of Jeconiah, the captive: Shealtiel his son,

¹⁷ پسران یَکُنیا که در دوران اسارت او به دنیا آمدند: شالتیئیل،

¹⁸and Malchiram, and Pedaiah, and Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

¹⁸ ملکیرام، فدایا، شناصر، یَقمیا، هوشاماع و نَدَبیا.

¹⁹The sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel, and Shimei. The sons of Zerubbabel: Meshullam, and Hananiah; and Shelomith was their sister;

¹⁹ پسران فدایا: زَرُبابل و شمعی. پسران زرُبابل: مَشلام و حننیا و خواهرشان، شلومیت.

²⁰and Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushab Hesed, five.

²⁰ پنج پسر دیگر او حَشوبه، اوهل، برخیا، حَسَدیا و یُوشَب‌حَسَد بودند.

²¹The sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah, and Jeshaiah; the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shecaniah.

²¹ حننیا دو پسر داشت به نامهای: فَلَطیا و اشعیا، اشعیا پدر رفایا بود و رافایا پدر ارنان، ارنان پدر عوبدیا، عوبدیا پدر شکنیا

²²The sons of Shecaniah: Shemaiah. The sons of Shemaiah: Hattush, and Igal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six.

²² و شمعیا پسر شکنیا. پنج پسر شمعیا: حطوش، یجال، باربح، نعریا و شافاط بودند.

²³The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, and Hizkiah, and Azrikam, three.

²³ سه پسر نعریا: الیوعینای، حزقیا و عزریقام بودند. هفت پسر الیوعینای: هودایا، الیاشیب، فلایا، عقوب، یوحانان، دلایاع و عنانی بودند.

²⁴The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Delaiah, and Anani, seven.

²⁴ هفت پسر الیوعینای: هودایا، الیاشیب، فلایا، عقوب، یوحانان، دلایاع و عنانی بودند.
