¹Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.

¹ ای دوستان من، اگر كسی در هنگام ارتكاب خطا دیده شود، شما كه روحانی هستید، او را با روح فروتنی به راه راست آورید. امّا مواظب خود باشید مبادا شما نیز دستخوش وسوسه شوید.

²Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

² بارهای یكدیگر را حمل كنید و به این طریق قانون مسیح را بجا خواهید آورد.

³For if a man thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

³ اگر كسی خود را شخص بزرگی بداند درحالی‌که چیزی نیست، خود را فریب می‌دهد.

⁴But let each man test his own work, and then he will take pride in himself and not in his neighbor.

⁴ هرکس باید رفتار خود را بیازماید و اگر رفتارش پسندیده بود، می‌تواند به خود ببالد و لزومی ندارد كه خود را با دیگران مقایسه كند،

⁵For each man will bear his own burden.

⁵ زیرا هرکس باید متحمّل بار خود باشد.

⁶But let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches.

⁶ محصّلین كلام خدا، معلّم خود را در تمام نعمات خویش شریک سازند.

⁷Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

⁷ فریب نخورید، هیچ‌کس نمی‌تواند خدا را فریب دهد، زیرا آنچه آدمی بكارد، همان را درو خواهد كرد.

⁸For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

⁸ مثلاً اگر كسی بذر در كشتزار هوی و هوس خویش بكارد، از آن خرمن مرگ را درو خواهد كرد و اگر در كشتزار روح خدا بكارد، از روح، حیات جاودانی را درو خواهد كرد.

⁹Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.

⁹ از انجام نیكوكاری خسته نشویم زیرا اگر دست از كار نكشیم، در وقت مناسب محصول خود را درو خواهیم كرد.

¹⁰So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

¹⁰ پس تا آنجا كه فرصت داریم، به همه نیكی كنیم مخصوصاً به کسانی‌که در ایمان، با ما اعضای یک خانواده هستند.

¹¹See with what large letters I write to you with my own hand.

¹¹ ببینید من با دست خود با چه حروف درشتی برای شما می‌نویسم.

¹²As many as desire to look good in the flesh, they compel you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.

¹² مقصود آنانی كه شما را به ختنه مجبور می‌کنند این است كه تظاهر كنند. مخصوصاً آنها نمی‌خواهند به‌خاطر صلیب مسیح جفا ببینند.

¹³For even they who receive circumcision don’t keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.

¹³ حتّی آنانی كه ختنه دارند، شریعت را بجا نمی‌‌آورند! آنها می‌خواهند كه شما ختنه شوید تا به اطاعت شما در یک عمل جسمانی ببالند.

¹⁴But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

¹⁴ و امّا من، خدا نكند كه به چیزی جز صلیب خداوند ما عیسی مسیح ببالم كه به وسیلهٔ آن، دنیا برای من مصلوب شد و من برای دنیا.

¹⁵For in Christ Jesus neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

¹⁵ داشتن و یا نداشتن ختنه مهم نیست، بلكه فقط خلقت تازه اهمیّت دارد.

¹⁶As many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God’s Israel.

¹⁶ به همهٔ آنانی كه در زندگی خود از این قاعده پیروی می‌کنند، یعنی به اسرائیل حقیقی خدا، آرامش و رحمت باد!

¹⁷From now on, let no one cause me any trouble, for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus branded on my body.

¹⁷ دیگر هیچ‌کس مزاحم من نشود، زیرا داغهایی بر بدن خود دارم كه نشان می‌دهند من غلام مسیح هستم. ای دوستان من، فیض خداوند ما عیسی مسیح با روح شما باد، آمین.

¹⁸The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
