¹The second lot came out for Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families. Their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Judah.

¹ قرعه دوم برای خاندانهای طایفهٔ شمعون بود. سرزمین ایشان تا سرزمین یهودا می‌رسید.

²They had for their inheritance Beersheba (or Sheba), Moladah,

² و شامل این شهرها بود: بئرشبع، شبع، مولادا،

³Hazar Shual, Balah, Ezem,

³ حصرشوعال، بالح، عاصم،

⁴Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,

⁴ التولد، بتول، حُرما،

⁵Ziklag, Beth Marcaboth, Hazar Susah,

⁵ صقلغ، بیت مرکبوت، حصرسوسه،

⁶Beth Lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities with their villages;

⁶ بیت لباعوت و شاروحن. جمعاً سیزده شهر با روستاهای اطراف آنها.

⁷Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan; four cities with their villages;

⁷ عین، رِمون، عاتر و عاشان، جمعاً چهار شهر با روستاهای اطراف آنها.

⁸and all the villages that were around these cities to Baalath Beer, Ramah of the South. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

⁸ این روستاها با تمام شهرهای اطراف که آن تا بعلت بئیر یا رامه، در جنوب ادامه داشت، به خاندان طایفهٔ شمعون تعلّق گرفت.

⁹Out of the part of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too much for them. Therefore the children of Simeon had inheritance in the midst of their inheritance.

⁹ چون وسعت سرزمین طایفهٔ یهودا بیش از نیاز آنان بود، بنابراین قسمتی از آن به طایفهٔ شمعون داده شد.

¹⁰The third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families. The border of their inheritance was to Sarid.

¹⁰ قرعه سوم به نام خاندان طایفهٔ زبولون درآمد. وسعت سرزمین آنها تا به سارید می‌رسید.

¹¹Their border went up westward, even to Maralah, and reached to Dabbesheth. It reached to the brook that is before Jokneam.

¹¹ از آنجا به طرف غرب به مرعله و دباشه و تا وادی مشرق از یقنعام ادامه داشت.

¹²It turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrise to the border of Chisloth Tabor. It went out to Daberath, and went up to Japhia.

¹² از سارید به طرف مشرق به سرحد کسلوت تابور و بعد به دابره و تا یافیع می‌رسید.

¹³From there it passed along eastward to Gath Hepher, to Ethkazin; and it went out at Rimmon which stretches to Neah.

¹³ از آنجا به طرف مشرق تا جت حافر و عت‌قاصین و بعد از راه نیعه به طرف رِمون می‌‌رفت.

¹⁴The border turned around it on the north to Hannathon; and it ended at the valley of Iphtah El;

¹⁴ از طرف شمال به حناتون دور زده به درّهٔ یفتحئیل ختم می‌‌شد.

¹⁵Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages.

¹⁵ این سرزمین شامل شهرهای قطه، نهلال، شمرون، یداله و بیت‌لحم که با روستاهای اطراف آنها،

¹⁶This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.

¹⁶ جمعاً دوازده شهر بودند. این شهرها و روستاهای آن سهم طایفهٔ زبولون بودند که به خاندانهای آنها داده شد.

¹⁷The fourth lot came out for Issachar, even for the children of Issachar according to their families.

¹⁷ قرعه چهارم به نام خاندانهای طایفهٔ یساکار درآمد.

¹⁸Their border was to Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem,

¹⁸ سرزمین آنها شامل شهرهای یزرعیل، کسلوت، شونم،

¹⁹Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,

¹⁹ حفارایم، شیئون، اناحره،

²⁰Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,

²⁰ ربیت، قشیون، آبص،

²¹Remeth, Engannim, En Haddah, and Beth Pazzez.

²¹ رمه، عین جنیم، عین حده و بیت فصیص بود.

²²The border reached to Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth Shemesh. Their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.

²² سرحد این سرزمین با تابور، شحصیمه و بیت شمس هم تماس داشت و تا رود اردن می‌رسید.

²³This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities with their villages.

²³ این بود زمین خاندانهای طایفهٔ یساکار. جمعاً شانزده شهر با روستاهای اطراف آنها.

²⁴The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.

²⁴ قرعه پنجم به نام خاندانهای طایفهٔ اشیر درآمد.

²⁵Their border was Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,

²⁵ سرزمین ایشان شامل حلقه، حلی، باطن، اکشاف،

²⁶Allammelech, Amad, Mishal. It reached to Carmel westward, and to Shihorlibnath.

²⁶ الملك، عمعاد و مشال بود. و سرحد غربی آن با کرمل و شحور لبنه تماس داشت.

²⁷It turned toward the sunrise to Beth Dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Iphtah El northward to Beth Emek and Neiel. It went out to Cabul on the left hand,

²⁷ بعد این سرحد به طرف شرق دور زده به بیت داجون و از آنجا به زبولون و درّهٔ یفتحئیل در شمال رسیده، بعد به طرف بیت عامق و نعیئیل و سپس به طرف شمال به کابول،

²⁸and Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, even to great Sidon.

²⁸ حبرون، رحوب، حمون، قانه و تا به صیدون بزرگ ادامه داشت.

²⁹The border turned to Ramah, to the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah. It ended at the sea by the region of Achzib;

²⁹ از آنجا به سرحد رامه پیچیده، به شهر مستحکم صور می‌رسید. از آن نقطه تا حوصه ادامه پیدا کرده، انتهای آن دریای مدیترانه بود. این منطقه شامل محلب، اکزیب،

³⁰Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities with their villages.

³⁰ عمه، عفیق و رحوب بود. جمعاً بیست و دو شهر با روستاهای اطراف آنها.

³¹This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

³¹ این شهرها با دهاتشان مربوط ملکیّت خاندانهای طایفهٔ اشیر بودند.

³²The sixth lot came out for the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.

³² قرعه ششم به نام خاندانهای طایفهٔ نفتالی درآمد.

³³Their border was from Heleph, from the oak in Zaanannim, Adaminekeb, and Jabneel, to Lakkum. It ended at the Jordan.

³³ سرحد زمین آنها از حالف در بلوطی که در صنعیم است شروع شده به ادامی‌ ناقب و یبنئیل و تا لقوم ادامه داشت و انتهای آن رود اردن بود.

³⁴The border turned westward to Aznoth Tabor, and went out from there to Hukkok. It reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah at the Jordan toward the sunrise.

³⁴ از آنجا به طرف غرب پیچیده به آزنوت تابور و بعد به حقوق می‌رسید. و با زبولون در جنوب، با اشیر در مغرب و با رود اردن در مشرق تماس داشت.

³⁵The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,

³⁵ شهرهای مستحکم آن صدیم، صیر، حمت، رقت، کنارت،

³⁶Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,

³⁶ ادامَه، رامه، حاصور،

³⁷Kedesh, Edrei, En Hazor,

³⁷ قادش، اذرعی، عین حاصور،

³⁸Iron, Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath, and Beth Shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.

³⁸ یرون، مجدلئیل، حوریم، بیت عناه و بیت شمس بودند. جمعاً نوزده شهر با روستاهای اطراف آنها.

³⁹This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities with their villages.

³⁹ این بود زمین خاندانهای طایفهٔ نفتالی با شهرها و روستاهای آنها.

⁴⁰The seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.

⁴⁰ قرعه هفتم به نام خاندانهای طایفهٔ دان درآمد.

⁴¹The border of their inheritance was Zorah, Eshtaol, Irshemesh,

⁴¹ سرزمین ایشان شامل شهرهای صرعه، اشتئول، عیرشمس،

⁴²Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,

⁴² شعلبین، ایالون، یتله،

⁴³Elon, Timnah, Ekron,

⁴³ ایلون، تمنه، عقرون،

⁴⁴Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,

⁴⁴ التقیه، جبتون، بعله،

⁴⁵Jehud, Bene Berak, Gath Rimmon,

⁴⁵ یهود، بنی‌برق، جت رِمون،

⁴⁶Me Jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border over against Joppa.

⁴⁶ میاه یرقون، رقون و منطقهٔ اطراف یافا بود.

⁴⁷The border of the children of Dan went out beyond them; for the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and took it, and struck it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and lived therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

⁴⁷ وقتی طایفهٔ دان سرزمین خود را از دست دادند، به لشم حمله نموده، آن را تصرّف کردند. مردم آنجا را با دَم شمشیر کشتند و در آنجا سکونت اختیار کرده و نام آن شهر را از لشم به دان، که اسم جدشان بود، تبدیل نمودند.

⁴⁸This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.

⁴⁸ این شهرها و روستاهای اطراف آنها متعلّق به خاندانهای طایفهٔ دان بودند.

⁴⁹So they made an end of distributing the land for inheritance by its borders. The children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun in their midst.

⁴⁹ هنگامی‌ که مردم اسرائیل تقسیم سرزمینها را به پایان رساندند، ایشان در میان خود، به یوشع پسر نون نیز سهمی‌ دادند.

⁵⁰According to the commandment of Yahweh, they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in the hill country of Ephraim; and he built the city, and lived there.

⁵⁰ طبق دستور خداوند و انتخاب خودش، شهر تمنه سارح را که در کوهستان افرایم بود برای او تعیین کردند. یوشع آن را دوباره آباد کرد و در آنجا سکونت اختیار نمود. به این ترتیب العازار کاهن، یوشع پسر نون و رهبران طایفه‌های اسرائیل، آن سرزمین را در حضور خداوند، در مقابل دروازهٔ خیمهٔ مقدّس در شیلوه تقسیم کردند.

⁵¹These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers’ houses of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inheritance by lot in Shiloh before Yahweh, at the door of the Tent of Meeting. So they made an end of dividing the land.

⁵¹ به این ترتیب العازار کاهن، یوشع پسر نون و رهبران طایفه‌های اسرائیل، آن سرزمین را در حضور خداوند، در مقابل دروازهٔ خیمهٔ مقدّس در شیلوه تقسیم کردند.
