¹He entered again into the synagogue, and there was a man there who had his hand withered.

¹ عیسی بار دیگر به كنیسه رفت. در آنجا مردی حضور داشت، كه دستش خشک شده بود.

²They watched him, whether he would heal him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him.

² فریسیان مراقب بودند ببینند، آیا عیسی او را در روز سبت شفا می‌دهد تا اتّهامی علیه او پیدا كنند.

³He said to the man who had his hand withered, “Stand up.”

³ عیسی به آن مرد علیل فرمود: «بیا جلو بایست.»

⁴He said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to kill?” But they were silent.

⁴ بعد به آنها گفت: «آیا در روز سبت خوبی كردن رواست یا بدی كردن؟ نجات دادن یا كشتن؟» آنها خاموش ماندند.

⁵When he had looked around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their hearts, he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored as healthy as the other.

⁵ عیسی با خشم به آنها نگاه كرد، زیرا از سنگدلی آنها متأسف بود و سپس به آن مرد فرمود: «دستت را دراز كن.» او دستش را دراز كرد و مانند اول سالم شد.

⁶The Pharisees went out, and immediately conspired with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.

⁶ فریسیان فوراً از آنجا خارج شدند تا با طرفداران هیرودیس برای از بین بردن عیسی توطئه بچینند.

⁷Jesus withdrew to the sea with his disciples, and a great multitude followed him from Galilee, from Judea,

⁷ عیسی با شاگردانش به كنار دریا رفت. عدّهٔ زیادی به دنبال او می‌رفتند. این اشخاص از جلیل و یهودیه

⁸from Jerusalem, from Idumaea, beyond the Jordan, and those from around Tyre and Sidon. A great multitude, hearing what great things he did, came to him.

⁸ و اورشلیم و ادومیه و از آن طرف رود اردن و از قسمت‌های صور و صیدون آمده بودند. این جمعیّت انبوه، شرح كارهای او را شنیده و به نزدش آمدند.

⁹He spoke to his disciples that a little boat should stay near him because of the crowd, so that they wouldn’t press on him.

⁹ پس او به شاگردانش گفت، كه قایقی برایش حاضر كنند تا از ازدحام مردم دور باشد.

¹⁰For he had healed many, so that as many as had diseases pressed on him that they might touch him.

¹⁰ چون آن‌قدر بیماران را شفا داده بود، كه همه به طرف او هجوم می‌آوردند تا او را لمس كنند.

¹¹The unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, “You are the Son of God!”

¹¹ همین‌طور ارواح پلید وقتی او را می‌دیدند، در جلوی او به خاک می‌افتادند و با صدای بلند فریاد می‌کردند: «تو پسر خدا هستی!»

¹²He sternly warned them that they should not make him known.

¹² عیسی با تأكید به آنها امر می‌کرد كه این را به كسی نگویند.

¹³He went up into the mountain, and called to himself those whom he wanted, and they went to him.

¹³ بعد از آن عیسی به بالای كوهی رفت و اشخاصی را كه می‌‌خواست پیش خود خواند و آنها پیش او رفتند.

¹⁴He appointed twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them out to preach,

¹⁴ او دوازده نفر را تعیین كرد تا پیش او باشند و تا آنها را برای اعلام پیام خود بفرستد

¹⁵and to have authority to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons:

¹⁵ و قدرت بیرون كردن دیوها را داشته باشند.

¹⁶Simon, to whom he gave the name Peter;

¹⁶ دوازده نفری كه انتخاب كرد عبارتند بودند از: شمعون كه عیسی به او لقب پطرس داد،

¹⁷James the son of Zebedee; John, the brother of James, and he surnamed them Boanerges, which means, Sons of Thunder;

¹⁷ یعقوب فرزند زِبدی و برادرش یوحنا كه به آنها لقب «بوانرجس» یعنی «رعدآسا» داد.

¹⁸Andrew; Philip; Bartholomew; Matthew; Thomas; James, the son of Alphaeus; Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot;

¹⁸ و اندریاس و فیلیپُس و برتولما و متّی و توما و یعقوب پسر حَلفی و تدی و شمعون غیور

¹⁹and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. He came into a house.

¹⁹ و یهودای اسخریوطی كه بعدها عیسی را تسلیم كرد.

²⁰The multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.

²⁰ عیسی به منزل رفت. باز هم جمعیّت زیادی در آنجا جمع شد، به طوری که او و شاگردانش فرصت غذا خوردن نداشتند.

²¹When his friends heard it, they went out to seize him: for they said, “He is insane.”

²¹ وقتی خویشاوندان او این را شنیدند، آمدند تا او را با خود ببرند، چون بعضی می‌گفتند كه او دیوانه شده است.

²²The scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebul,” and, “By the prince of the demons he casts out the demons.”

²² علمایی هم كه از اورشلیم آمده بودند، می‌گفتند: «او تحت فرمان بعلزبول است و دیوها را به یاری رئیس دیوها بیرون می‌کند.»

²³He summoned them, and said to them in parables, “How can Satan cast out Satan?

²³ پس عیسی از مردم خواست كه جلو بیایند و برای آنها مثلهایی آورد و گفت: «شیطان چطور می‌تواند شیطان را بیرون كند؟

²⁴ If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

²⁴ اگر در مملكتی تفرقه باشد، آن مملكت نمی‌تواند دوام بیاورد.

²⁵ If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

²⁵ و اگر در خانواده‌ای تفرقه بیفتد، آن خانواده نمی‌تواند پایدار بماند.

²⁶ If Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he can’t stand, but has an end.

²⁶ اگر شیطان نیز علیه شیطان قیام كند و در او تفرقه پیدا شود دیگر نمی‌تواند دوام بیاورد و سلطنتش به پایان خواهد رسید.

²⁷ But no one can enter into the house of the strong man to plunder, unless he first binds the strong man; and then he will plunder his house.

²⁷ «همچنین هیچ‌کس نمی‌تواند به خانهٔ مرد زورآوری وارد شود و اموال او را غارت كند، مگر اینکه اول آن زورمند را ببندد و پس از آن خانه‌اش را غارت نماید.

²⁸ Most certainly I tell you, all sins of the descendants of man will be forgiven, including their blasphemies with which they may blaspheme;

²⁸ بدانید هر نوع گناه و كفری كه انسان مرتكب شده باشد، قابل آمرزش است.

²⁹ but whoever may blaspheme against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”

²⁹ امّا هرکه به روح‌القدس كفر بگوید تا ابد آمرزیده نخواهد شد، نه در این دنیا و نه در دنیای آینده.»

³⁰—because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.”

³⁰ عیسی این مَثَل را آورد چون عدّه‌ای می‌گفتند: «او روح پلید دارد.»

³¹His mother and his brothers came, and standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.

³¹ مادر و برادران عیسی آمدند و بیرون ایستاده، پیغام فرستادند كه عیسی پیش آنها برود.

³²A multitude was sitting around him, and they told him, “Behold, your mother, your brothers, and your sisters TR omits “your sisters” are outside looking for you.”

³² جمعیّت زیادی دور او نشسته بودند و به او خبر دادند كه: «مادر و برادران تو بیرون ایستاده‌اند و تو را می‌خواهند.»

³³He answered them, “Who are my mother and my brothers?”

³³ عیسی جواب داد: «مادر من كیست؟ برادران من چه كسانی هستند؟»

³⁴Looking around at those who sat around him, he said, “Behold, my mother and my brothers!

³⁴ و به کسانی‌که اطراف او نشسته بودند نگاه كرده، گفت: «اینها مادر و برادران من هستند. چون هرکس ارادهٔ خدا را انجام دهد، برادر و خواهر و مادر من است.»

³⁵ For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.”

³⁵ چون هرکس ارادهٔ خدا را انجام دهد، برادر و خواهر و مادر من است.»
