¹After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! Salvation, power, and glory belong to our God:

¹ پس از این وقایع صدایی شنیدم كه مانند فریاد گروهی كثیر در آسمان طنین افكند و می‌گفت: «خدا را شكر! رستگاری و جلال و قدرت از آن خدای ماست.

²for true and righteous are his judgments. For he has judged the great prostitute, who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and he has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.”

² زیرا داوری‌‌های او راست و عادلانه است! او فاحشهٔ بزرگ را كه با زنای خود زمین را آلوده ساخت، محكوم كرده و انتقام خون بندگان خود را از او گرفته است.»

³A second said, “Hallelujah! Her smoke goes up forever and ever.”

³ آنها بار دیگر گفتند: «خدا را شكر! دود آن در تمام اعصار و قرون بلند خواهد بود.»

⁴The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying, “Amen! Hallelujah!”

⁴ آن بیست و چهار پیر و چهار حیوان زنده در برابر خدایی كه بر تخت نشسته بود، به خاک افتادند و او را عبادت نموده گفتند: «آمین! خدا را شكر!»

⁵A voice came forth from the throne, saying, “Give praise to our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, the small and the great!”

⁵ آنگاه از تخت صدایی آمد كه می‌گفت: «ای تمام بندگان او، و ای کسانی‌که از او می‌ترسید، از كوچک و بزرگ، خدای ما را سپاس گویید.»

⁶I heard something like the voice of a great multitude, and like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of mighty thunders, saying, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns!

⁶ آنگاه صدایی شنیدم كه مانند صدای گروهی عظیم و صدای آبهای بسیار و غرّش شدید رعد بود و می‌گفت: «خدا را سپاس! خداوند، خدای ما كه قادر مطلق است سلطنت می‌کند!

⁷Let us rejoice and be exceedingly glad, and let us give the glory to him. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready.”

⁷ شادی و وجد كنیم و جلال او را بستاییم، زیرا زمان جشن عروسی برّه رسیده است، عروس او خود را آماده ساخته است

⁸It was given to her that she would array herself in bright, pure, fine linen: for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

⁸ و با لباسی از كتان ظریف پاک و درخشان ملبّس شده است.» (مقصود از كتان ظریف، کارهای نیک مقدّسین است.)

⁹He said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’” He said to me, “These are true words of God.”

⁹ سپس فرشته به من گفت: «این را بنویس: خوشا به حال کسانی‌که به ضیافت عروسی برّه خوانده می‌شوند.» او همچنین به من گفت: «اینها كلام حقیقی خداست.»

¹⁰I fell down before his feet to worship him. He said to me, “Look! Don’t do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers who hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.”

¹⁰ در پیش پای او به خاک افتادم تا او را عبادت كنم، امّا او به من گفت: «نه، چنین نكن! من خادمی هستم مانند تو و ایمانداران دیگر كه به عیسی مسیح شهادت می‌دهند، خدا را پرستش كن!» زیرا شهادتی كه دربارهٔ عیسی داده شده، الهام بخش تمام نبوّتهاست.

¹¹I saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it is called Faithful and True. In righteousness he judges and makes war.

¹¹ آنگاه آسمان را گشوده دیدم. اسب سفیدی در آنجا بود كه نام سوارش امین و راست بود. او با عدالت داوری و جنگ می‌کند.

¹²His eyes are a flame of fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has names written and a name written which no one knows but he himself.

¹² چشمانش مانند شعلهٔ آتش بود، نیم‌تاجهای بسیار بر سر داشت و نامی بر او نوشته بود كه هیچ‌کس جز خودش نمی‌توانست آن را بفهمد.

¹³He is clothed in a garment sprinkled with blood. His name is called “The Word of God.”

¹³ او ردایی آغشته به خون بر تن داشت و به كلمهٔ خدا مسمّی بود.

¹⁴The armies which are in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in white, pure, fine linen.

¹⁴ لشکریان آسمان كه سوار بر اسبهای سفید و ملبّس به لباسهای كتان پاک و درخشان بودند به دنبال او می‌رفتند.

¹⁵Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword, that with it he should strike the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. Psalm 2:9 He treads the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

¹⁵ از دهانش شمشیر تیزی بیرون آمد تا با آن ملّتها را بزند. او با عصای آهنین بر آنها حکومت خواهد كرد و شراب خشم و غضب خدای قادر مطلق را در چَرخُشتِ خواهد فشرد.

¹⁶He has on his garment and on his thigh a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

¹⁶ بر ردا و ران او عنوان «شاه شاهان و خداوند خداوندان» مرقوم شده بود.

¹⁷I saw an angel standing in the sun. He cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the sky, “Come! Be gathered together to the great supper of God, TR reads “supper of the great God” instead of “great supper of God”

¹⁷ آنگاه فرشته‌ای را در آفتاب ایستاده دیدم كه با صدای بلند به همهٔ پرندگانی كه در میان آسمان به حال پرواز بودند می‌گفت: «بیایید و برای ضیافت بزرگ خدا جمع شوید

¹⁸that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, and small and great.”

¹⁸ و گوشت پادشاهان و فرماندهان و جنگ‌آوران، گوشت اسبان و سواران آنها، گوشت همهٔ آدمیان از برده تا آزاد، و از بزرگ تا كوچک را بخورید.»

¹⁹I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him who sat on the horse, and against his army.

¹⁹ آنگاه آن حیوان وحشی و پادشاهان زمین و لشکریان آنها را دیدم كه جمع شده‌اند تا با اسب‌سوار و لشکریانش جنگ كنند.

²⁰The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked the signs in his sight, with which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

²⁰ حیوان وحشی و نبی دروغین كه در حضور او معجزات بسیار كرده بود، هر دو گرفتار شدند. نبی دروغین با معجزات خود كسانی را كه علامت حیوان وحشی را بر خود داشتند و پیكرهٔ او را عبادت كرده بودند، فریفته بود. هردوی آنها زنده به داخل دریاچهٔ آتش و شعله‌های گوگردی آن پرتاب شدند. لشکریان آنها با شمشیری كه از دهان اسب سوار بیرون آمد، به‌ قتل رسیدند و همهٔ پرندگان از گوشت آنان سیر شدند.

²¹The rest were killed with the sword of him who sat on the horse, the sword which came forth out of his mouth. All the birds were filled with their flesh.

²¹ لشکریان آنها با شمشیری كه از دهان اسب سوار بیرون آمد، به‌ قتل رسیدند و همهٔ پرندگان از گوشت آنان سیر شدند.
