¹After these things I looked and saw a door opened in heaven, and the first voice that I heard, like a trumpet speaking with me, was one saying, “Come up here, and I will show you the things which must happen after this.”

¹ پس از آن نگاه كردم و در آسمان دری گشاده دیدم و همان صدایی كه من در آغاز شنیده بودم، مانند شیپوری به من ‌گفت: «بالا بیا، من آنچه را كه باید بعد از این رُخ دهد به تو نشان خواهم داد.»

²Immediately I was in the Spirit. Behold, there was a throne set in heaven, and one sitting on the throne

² روح خدا مرا فراگرفت و دیدم كه در آسمان تختی قرار داشت و بر روی آن تخت كسی نشسته بود

³that looked like a jasper stone and a sardius. There was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald to look at.

³ كه مانند یشم و عقیق می‌درخشید و در گرداگرد تخت رنگین‌كمانی بود، به درخشندگی زُمرّد.

⁴Around the throne were twenty-four thrones. On the thrones were twenty-four elders sitting, dressed in white garments, with crowns of gold on their heads.

⁴ در پیرامون این تخت بیست و چهار تخت دیگر بود و روی آنها بیست و چهار پیر نشسته بودند. آنها لباس سفید به تن و تاج زرّین بر سر داشتند.

⁵Out of the throne proceed lightnings, sounds, and thunders. There were seven lamps of fire burning before his throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

⁵ از آن تخت برق ساطع می‌شد و غرّش و رعد شنیده می‌شد. در جلوی تخت، هفت مشعل سوزان می‌سوخت. اینها هفت روح خدا هستند.

⁶Before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. In the midst of the throne, and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.

⁶ و همچنین در برابر تخت چیزی كه مانند دریای شیشه یا بلور بود دیده می‌شد. در اطراف و در چهار گوشهٔ تخت، چهار حیوان قرار داشت كه بدن آنها از هر طرف پر از چشم بود.

⁷The first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle.

⁷ حیوان اول مانند شیر بود، دومی مانند گوساله، سومی صورتی مانند صورت انسان داشت و چهارمی مانند عقابی پر گشوده بود.

⁸The four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within. They have no rest day and night, saying, “Holy, holy, holy Hodges/Farstad MT reads “holy” 9 times instead of 3. is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come!”

⁸ هر یک از این چهار حیوان شش بال داشت و بدن آنها از هر طرف پر از چشم بود و شب و روز دایماً می‌گفتند: «قدّوس، قدّوس، قدّوس، خداوند، خدای قادر مطلق كه بود و هست و خواهد آمد.»

⁹When the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to him who sits on the throne, to him who lives forever and ever,

⁹ هر وقت این حیوانات آن تخت‌نشین را كه تا ابد زنده است، تجلیل و تكریم و تمجید می‌کنند،

¹⁰the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives forever and ever, and throw their crowns before the throne, saying,

¹⁰ آن بیست و چهار پیر در برابر تخت‌نشین كه تا ابد زنده است سجده می‌کنند و او را می‌پرستند و تاجهای خود را در جلوی تخت او می‌اندازند و فریاد می‌زنند: «ای خداوند و خدای ما، تو تنها شایسته‌ای كه صاحب جلال و حرمت و قدرت باشی، زیرا تو همه‌چیز را آفریدی و به ارادهٔ تو، آنها هستی و حیات یافتند.»

¹¹“Worthy are you, our Lord and God, the Holy One, TR omits “and God, the Holy One,” to receive the glory, the honor, and the power, for you created all things, and because of your desire they existed, and were created!”

¹¹ «ای خداوند و خدای ما، تو تنها شایسته‌ای كه صاحب جلال و حرمت و قدرت باشی، زیرا تو همه‌چیز را آفریدی و به ارادهٔ تو، آنها هستی و حیات یافتند.»
