1Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name! Make his doings known among the peoples.

2Sing to him, sing praises to him! Tell of all his marvelous works.
2Cantai-lhe, cantai-lhe louvores; falai de todas as suas maravilhas.
3Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice.
3Gloriai-vos no seu santo nome; regozije-se o coração daqueles que buscam ao Senhor.
4Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more.
4Buscai ao Senhor e a sua força; buscai a sua face continuamente.
5Remember his marvelous works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,
5Lembrai-vos das maravilhas que ele tem feito, dos seus prodígios e dos juízos da sua boca,
6you seed of Abraham, his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

7He is Yahweh, our God. His judgments are in all the earth.

8He has remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,

9the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac,
9do pacto que fez com Abraão, e do seu juramento a Isaque;
10and confirmed the same to Jacob for a statute; to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
10o qual ele confirmou a Jacó por estatuto, e a Israel por pacto eterno,
11saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance”;

12when they were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners in it.
12Quando eles eram ainda poucos em número, de pouca importância, e forasteiros nela,
13They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.
13andando de nação em nação, dum reino para outro povo,
14He allowed no one to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,
14não permitiu que ninguém os oprimisse, e por amor deles repreendeu reis, dizendo:
15“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”
15Não toqueis nos meus ungidos, e não maltrateis os meus profetas.
16He called for a famine on the land. He destroyed the food supplies.
16Chamou a fome sobre a terra; retirou-lhes todo o sustento do pão.
17He sent a man before them. Joseph was sold for a slave.
17Enviou adiante deles um varão; José foi vendido como escravo;
18They bruised his feet with shackles. His neck was locked in irons,
18feriram-lhe os pés com grilhões; puseram-no a ferro,
19until the time that his word happened, and Yahweh’s word proved him true.
19até o tempo em que a sua palavra se cumpriu; a palavra do Senhor o provou.
20The king sent and freed him; even the ruler of peoples, and let him go free.
20O rei mandou, e fez soltá-lo; o governador dos povos o libertou.
21He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all of his possessions;
21Fê-lo senhor da sua casa, e governador de toda a sua fazenda,
22to discipline his princes at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.
22para, a seu gosto, dar ordens aos príncipes, e ensinar aos anciãos a sabedoria.
23Israel also came into Egypt. Jacob lived in the land of Ham.
23Então Israel entrou no Egito, e Jacó peregrinou na terra de Cão.
24He increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.
24E o Senhor multiplicou sobremodo o seu povo, e o fez mais poderoso do que os seus inimigos.
25He turned their heart to hate his people, to conspire against his servants.
25Mudou o coração destes para que odiassem o seu povo, e tratassem astutamente aos seus servos.
26He sent Moses, his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.
26Enviou Moisés, seu servo, e Arão, a quem escolhera,
27They performed miracles among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
27os quais executaram entre eles os seus sinais e prodígios na terra de Cão.
28He sent darkness, and made it dark. They didn’t rebel against his words.
28Mandou � escuridão que a escurecesse; e foram rebeldes � sua palavra.
29He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.
29Converteu-lhes as águas em sangue, e fez morrer os seus peixes.
30Their land swarmed with frogs, even in the rooms of their kings.
30A terra deles produziu rãs em abundância, até nas câmaras dos seus reis.
31He spoke, and swarms of flies came, and lice in all their borders.
31Ele falou, e vieram enxames de moscas em todo o seu têrmo.
32He gave them hail for rain, with lightning in their land.
32Deu-lhes saraiva por chuva, e fogo abrasador na sua terra.
33He struck their vines and also their fig trees, and shattered the trees of their country.
33Feriu-lhes também as vinhas e os figueirais, e quebrou as árvores da sua terra.
34He spoke, and the locusts came, and the grasshoppers, without number,
34Ele falou, e vieram gafanhotos, e pulgões em quantidade inumerável,
35ate up every plant in their land; and ate up the fruit of their ground.
35que comeram toda a erva da sua terra, e devoraram o fruto dos seus campos.
36He struck also all the firstborn in their land, the first fruits of all their manhood.
36Feriu também todos os primogênitos da terra deles, as primícias de toda a sua força.
37He brought them forth with silver and gold. There was not one feeble person among his tribes.
37E fez sair os israelitas com prata e ouro, e entre as suas tribos não havia quem tropeçasse.
38Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen on them.
38O Egito alegrou-se quando eles saíram, porque o temor deles o dominara.
39He spread a cloud for a covering, fire to give light in the night.
39Estendeu uma nuvem para os cobrir, e um fogo para os alumiar de noite.
40They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of the sky.

41He opened the rock, and waters gushed out. They ran as a river in the dry places.
41Fendeu a rocha, e dela brotaram águas, que correram pelos lugares áridos como um rio.
42For he remembered his holy word, and Abraham, his servant.
42Porque se lembrou da sua santa palavra, e de Abraão, seu servo.
43He brought forth his people with joy, his chosen with singing.
43Fez sair com alegria o seu povo, e com cânticos de júbilo os seus escolhidos.
44He gave them the lands of the nations. They took the labor of the peoples in possession,
44Deu-lhes as terras das nações, e eles herdaram o fruto do trabalho dos povos,
45that they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Praise Yah!
