102

1Hear my prayer, Yahweh! Let my cry come to you.
1Inzwai munyengetero wangu, Jehovha, Kuchema kwangu ngakusvikire kwamuri.
2Don’t hide your face from me in the day of my distress. Turn your ear to me. Answer me quickly in the day when I call.
2Regai kundivanzira chiso chenyu pazuva rokutambudzika kwangu; Rerekerai nzeve yenyu kwandiri; Pazuva rokudana kwangu kurumidzai kundipindura.
3For my days consume away like smoke. My bones are burned as a torch.
3nekuti mazuva angu anopera soutsi, mafupa angu anotsva sechitsa.
4My heart is blighted like grass, and withered, for I forget to eat my bread.
4Moyo wangu warohwa souswa, waoma, nekuti ndinokangamwa kudya zvokudya zvangu.
5By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bones stick to my skin.
5Nokuda kwenzwi rokugomera kwangu mafupa angu anonamatira nyama yangu.
6I am like a pelican of the wilderness. I have become as an owl of the waste places.
6Ndafanana nehukurwizi yomurenje; Ndava sezizi romumatongo.
7I watch, and have become like a sparrow that is alone on the housetop.
7Handivati, ndafanana Neshiri iri yoga pamusoro pedenga reimba.
8My enemies reproach me all day. Those who are mad at me use my name as a curse.
8Vavengi vangu vanondituka zuva rose; Avo vanondipengera vanonditukisa kwazvo.
9For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mixed my drink with tears,
9Nekuti ndakadya madota sezvokudya, Ndikavhenganisa zvokumwa zvangu nemisodzi.
10Because of your indignation and your wrath, for you have taken me up, and thrown me away.
10Nokuda kwehasha dzenyu nokutsamwa kwenyu; nekuti makandisimudza mukandirasha.
11My days are like a long shadow. I have withered like grass.
11Mazuva angu akafanana nomumvuri wareba; Ndaoma souswa.
12But you, Yahweh, will remain forever; your renown endures to all generations.
12Asi imwi Jehovha, muchavapo nokusingaperi; Marudzi namarudzi achakurangarirai.
13You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for it is time to have pity on her. Yes, the set time has come.
13Imwi muchasimuka, mukanzwira Ziyoni tsitsi; nekuti nguva yavapo yokurinzwira tsitsi, zvirokwazvo, nguva, yakatarwa, yasvika.
14For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and have pity on her dust.
14Nekuti varanda venyu vanofarira mabwe aro, Vanonzwira tsitsi guruva raro.
15So the nations will fear the name of Yahweh; all the kings of the earth your glory.
15Naizvozvo vahedheni vachatya zita raJehovha, Namadzimambo ose apasi kubwinya kwenyu;
16For Yahweh has built up Zion. He has appeared in his glory.
16Jehovha zvaakavaka Ziyoni, Akaonekwa nokubwinya kwake;
17He has responded to the prayer of the destitute, and has not despised their prayer.
17Akava nehanya nomunyengetero wavakakamurwa, Akasazvidza munyengetero wavo.
18This will be written for the generation to come. A people which will be created will praise Yah.
18Izvi zvichanyorerwa rudzi runozouya; Vanhu, vachazosikwa, vacharumbidza Jehovha.
19For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary. From heaven, Yahweh saw the earth;
19Nekuti wakatarira pasi ari panzvimbo yake tsvene yakakwirira; Jehovha akacherekedza nyika ari kudenga;
20to hear the groans of the prisoner; to free those who are condemned to death;
20Kuti anzwe kugomera komusungwa; Kuti asunungure vakatemerwa rufu;
21that men may declare the name of Yahweh in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
21Kuti vanhu vaparidze zita raJehovha paZiyoni, Nokurumbidzwa kwake paJerusaremu;
22when the peoples are gathered together, the kingdoms, to serve Yahweh.
22Kana marudzi avanhu aungana, Noushe huzhinji, kuti vashumire Jehovha.
23He weakened my strength along the course. He shortened my days.
23Wakatapudza simba rangu panzira; Wakafupisa mazuva angu.
24I said, “My God, don’t take me away in the midst of my days. Your years are throughout all generations.
24Ndakati, Mwari wangu, regai kundibvisa mazuva angu achigere kusvika; Makore enyu anosvika kumarudzi namarudzi.
25Of old, you laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the work of your hands.
25Makateya nyika kare-kare; Nedenga rose ibasa ramaoko enyu.
26They will perish, but you will endure. Yes, all of them will wear out like a garment. You will change them like a cloak, and they will be changed.
26Zvichaparara izvo, asi imwi muchagara muripo; Zvirokwazvo, izvozvo zvose zvichasakara senguvo; Muchazvishandura sechisimiro, zvikashanduka;
27But you are the same. Your years will have no end.
27Asi imwi hamushanduki, Makore enyu haangavi nomugumo.
28The children of your servants will continue. Their seed will be established before you.”
28Vana vavaranda venyu vachagara varipo, Navana vavo vachasimbiswa pamberi penyu.
