102

1Hear my prayer, Yahweh! Let my cry come to you.
1 Taabi hanko baytu no, waati kaŋ a gaabo gaze, A go ga nga hẽeno gusam Rabbi jine mo.
2Don’t hide your face from me in the day of my distress. Turn your ear to me. Answer me quickly in the day when I call.
3For my days consume away like smoke. My bones are burned as a torch.
4My heart is blighted like grass, and withered, for I forget to eat my bread.
4 Zama ay jirbey go ga ban sanda dullu cine, Ay biriyey mo go ga di sanda danji ra tuuri cine.
5By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bones stick to my skin.
5 Ay bina lakaw sanda subu kaŋ i kar, kaŋ suugu mo, Hal ay dinya k'ay ŋwaaro ŋwa.
6I am like a pelican of the wilderness. I have become as an owl of the waste places.
6 Ay durayyaŋ jinda sabbay se, Kala baa ay biriyey naagu ay baso gaa.
7I watch, and have become like a sparrow that is alone on the housetop.
7 Ay ga hima sanda saajo ra bangu farka, Ay ciya sanda fu kurmu ra kuku.
8My enemies reproach me all day. Those who are mad at me use my name as a curse.
8 Ay ga te mo-fasiya, Ay ciya mo sanda sasa kaŋ go fu boŋ nga hinne.
9For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mixed my drink with tears,
9 Zaari me-a-me ay ibarey goono g'ay foy. Ngey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga donda ay goono ga laaliyaŋ zeyaŋ te d'ay maa.
10Because of your indignation and your wrath, for you have taken me up, and thrown me away.
10 Zama boosu no ay soobay ka ŋwa sanda buuru cine, Ay haŋyaŋ haro mo, ay n'a margu nda mundi.
11My days are like a long shadow. I have withered like grass.
12But you, Yahweh, will remain forever; your renown endures to all generations.
12 Ay jirbey ga hima sanda tuuri bi kaŋ ga sosoro, Ay lakaw sanda subu cine.
13You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for it is time to have pity on her. Yes, the set time has come.
13 Amma nin wo, ya Rabbi, ni go no hal abada. Ni gaa fonguyaŋo mo ga goro hala zamaney kulu gaa.
14For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and have pity on her dust.
14 Ni ga tun, ni ga bakar mo Sihiyona se, Zama a se gomni teeyaŋ waate to, Oho, alwaati jisanta to.
15So the nations will fear the name of Yahweh; all the kings of the earth your glory.
15 Daahir ni tamey goono ga farhã d'a tondey, I ga bakar a laabo se.
16For Yahweh has built up Zion. He has appeared in his glory.
16 Woodin se no dumi cindey ga humburu Rabbi maa, Ndunnya bonkooney kulu mo ga humburu ni darza.
17He has responded to the prayer of the destitute, and has not despised their prayer.
17 Zama Rabbi no ka Sihiyona cina, A bangay mo nga darza ra.
18This will be written for the generation to come. A people which will be created will praise Yah.
18 A maa moori ra gorokoy adduwa se, A mana donda i adduwa mo.
19For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary. From heaven, Yahweh saw the earth;
19 I ga woone hantum zamana kaŋ ga kaa se, Hala zamana din borey kaŋ i ga taka mo ma Rabbi sifa.
20to hear the groans of the prisoner; to free those who are condemned to death;
20 Zama a go nga nangu hanna ra ga ganda fonnay, Beene no Rabbi go, a na ndunnya guna,
21that men may declare the name of Yahweh in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
22when the peoples are gathered together, the kingdoms, to serve Yahweh.
22 Zama Adam-izey ma Rabbi maa baaru dede Sihiyona ra, A sifawo mo Urusalima* ra,
23He weakened my strength along the course. He shortened my days.
24I said, “My God, don’t take me away in the midst of my days. Your years are throughout all generations.
24 A n'ay gaabo londo wi fonda boŋ, A n'ay jirbey mo dunguriyandi.
25Of old, you laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the work of your hands.
25 Ay ne: «Ya ay Irikoyo, ma s'ay sambu saaya kaŋ ay go ay jirbey bindo ra. Ni jiirey go no hala zamaney kulu me.
26They will perish, but you will endure. Yes, all of them will wear out like a garment. You will change them like a cloak, and they will be changed.
27But you are the same. Your years will have no end.
27 I ga halaci, amma ni wo, ni go no duumi. I kulu ga zeen mo danga kwaay cine, Ni g'i barmay mo danga bankaaray cine, I alhaali ga bare mo.
28The children of your servants will continue. Their seed will be established before you.”
