1Praise waits for you, God, in Zion. To you shall vows be performed.
1 Doonkoy jine bora se. Dawda baytu fo no kaŋ a doon.
1For the Chief Musician. A Psalm. A song of David. Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion; And unto thee shall the vow be performed.
2You who hear prayer, to you all men will come.
Ni do mo no borey ga sarti toonandi.
2O thou that hearest prayer, Unto thee shall all flesh come.
3Sins overwhelmed me, but you atoned for our transgressions.
3 Ya nin adduwa maakwa, ni do no fundikooney kulu ga kaa.
3Iniquities prevail against me: As for our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them.
4Blessed is one whom you choose, and cause to come near, that he may live in your courts. We will be filled with the goodness of your house, your holy temple.
4 Taali teeyaŋ muraadey te zaama ay boŋ. Day iri hartayaŋey, ni g'i tuusu.
4Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach [unto thee], That he may dwell in thy courts: We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, Thy holy temple.
5By awesome deeds of righteousness, you answer us, God of our salvation. You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, of those who are far away on the sea;
5By terrible things thou wilt answer us in righteousness, Oh God of our salvation, Thou that art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of them that are afar off upon the sea:
6Who by his power forms the mountains, having armed yourself with strength;
6 Ya Irikoy, iri faaba wano, Nin kaŋ ci deyaŋ hari ndunnya me-a-me se, da ngey mo kaŋ yaŋ go teeko boŋ nangu mooro se. Muraaduyaŋ kaŋ ga dambarandi no ni ga tu d'a iri se adilitaray ra,
6Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains, Being girded about with might;
7who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.
7 Nin no ga tondi beerey sinji nda ni gaabo, I na ni guddu nda hin.
7Who stilleth the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.
8They also who dwell in faraway places are afraid at your wonders. You call the morning’s dawn and the evening with songs of joy.
8 Teekoy kosongo d'i hari bondayey, Da ndunnya dumey kosongey, ni ya i kanandiko no,
8They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: Thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.
9You visit the earth, and water it. You greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you have ordained it.
9 Nangu moorey me gorokoy go ga humburu ni alaamey sabbay se.
9Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it, Thou greatly enrichest it; The river of God is full of water: Thou providest them grain, when thou hast so prepared the earth.
10You drench its furrows. You level its ridges. You soften it with showers. You bless it with a crop.
10 Ni ga laabu kunfa, ni g'a haŋandi hari, Ni g'a yulwandi mo gumo. Irikoy gooro go toonante nda hari.
10Thou waterest its furrows abundantly; Thou settlest the ridges thereof: Thou makest it soft with showers; Thou blessest the springing thereof.
11You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance.
11 Ni g'a batey no hari boobo, Ni g'a bata guwey bagu ka say, Ni g'a leema nda buru hari, Ni ga albarka daŋ a buzugey gaa mo.
11Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; And thy paths drop fatness.
12The wilderness grasslands overflow. The hills are clothed with gladness.
12They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness; And the hills are girded with joy.
13The pastures are covered with flocks. The valleys also are clothed with grain. They shout for joy! They also sing.
13 Saaji kuray nangey goono ga tolli-tolli. Tudu izey mo, farhã na i windi.
13The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered over with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing.
14 I ga kuray nangey daabu nda feeji kuruyaŋ, Goorey batamey mo ga daabu nda ntaasu. I go ga cilili farhã sabbay se, oho, i go ga baytu.
