Psalms

95

1Oh come, let’s sing to Yahweh. Let’s shout aloud to the rock of our salvation!
1 Wa kaa, iri ma farhã baytu te Rabbi se, Iri ma cilili iri faaba tondo se.
1Oh come, let us sing unto Jehovah; Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2Let’s come before his presence with thanksgiving. Let’s extol him with songs!
2 Iri ma kaa a jine da saabuyaŋ, Iri ma farhã kuuwa te a se da baytuyaŋ.
2Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving; Let us make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3For Yahweh is a great God, a great King above all gods.
3 Zama Rabbi ya Irikoy beeri no, Bonkooni bambata no de-koyey kulu boŋ.
3For Jehovah is a great God, And a great King above all gods.
4In his hand are the deep places of the earth. The heights of the mountains are also his.
4 A kambe ra no ndunnya guusuyaŋey go, Tondi kuukey yolley mo, a wane yaŋ no.
4In his hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the mountains are his also.
5The sea is his, and he made it. His hands formed the dry land.
5 Teeko ya a wane no, nga mo no k'a te, A kambey mo no ka laabu koga te.
5The sea is his, and he made it; And his hands formed the dry land.
6Oh come, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel before Yahweh, our Maker,
6 Wa kaa, iri ma sududu, iri ma gungum, Iri ma sombu Rabbi iri Takakwa jine
6Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before Jehovah our Maker:
7for he is our God. We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep in his care. Today, oh that you would hear his voice!
7 zama nga ya iri Irikoyo no, Iri mo a kuray nangey boroyaŋ no, A kambe feejiyaŋ mo no. Hunkuna, d'araŋ maa a jinda,
7For he is our God, And we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To-day, oh that ye would hear his voice!
8Don’t harden your heart, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,
8 Wa s'araŋ biney sandandi, sanda Meriba ra wano cine, Sanda Massa zaaro cine saajo ra,
8Harden not your heart, as at Meribah, As in the day of Massah in the wilderness;
9when your fathers tempted me, tested me, and saw my work.
9 Naŋ kaŋ araŋ kaayey n'ay gosi k'ay si. I di ay goyo,
9When your fathers tempted me, Proved me, and saw my work.
10Forty long years I was grieved with that generation, and said, “It is a people that errs in their heart. They have not known my ways.”
10 Jiiri waytaaci no ay na zamana din izey fanta. Ay ne: «Jama no kaŋ go ga daray ngey biney ra, I man'ay fondey bay mo.
10Forty years long was I grieved with [that] generation, And said, It is a people that do err in their heart, And they have not known my ways:
11Therefore I swore in my wrath, “They won’t enter into my rest.”
11 Woodin se no ay ze ay futa ra ka ne: ‹Daahir i si furo ay fulanzamyaŋo ra.› »
11Wherefore I sware in my wrath, That they should not enter into my rest.
