¹I will sing of the loving kindness of Yahweh forever. With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.

¹கர்த்தரின் கிருபைகளை என்றென்றைக்கும் பாடுவேன்; உமது உண்மையைத் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக என் வாயினால் அறிவிப்பேன்.

²I indeed declare, “Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them.”

³“I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David, my servant,

⁴‘I will establish your seed forever, and build up your throne to all generations.’” Selah.

⁵The heavens will praise your wonders, Yahweh; your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones.

⁵கர்த்தாவே, வானங்கள் உம்முடைய அதிசயங்களைத் துதிக்கும், பரிசுத்தவான்களின் சபையிலே உம்முடைய உண்மையும் விளங்கும்.

⁶For who in the skies can be compared to Yahweh? Who among the sons of the heavenly beings is like Yahweh,

⁶ஆகாயமண்டலத்தில் கர்த்தருக்கு நிகரானவர் யார்? பலவான்களின் புத்திரரில் கர்த்தருக்கு ஒப்பானவர் யார்?

⁷a very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, to be feared above all those who are around him?

⁷தேவன் பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய ஆலோசனைச் சபையில் மிகவும் பயப்படத்தக்கவர், தம்மைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிற அனைவராலும் அஞ்சப்படத்தக்கவர்.

⁸Yahweh, God of Armies, who is a mighty one, like you? Yah, your faithfulness is around you.

⁸சேனைகளின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்மைப்போல் வல்லமையுள்ள கர்த்தர் யார்? உம்முடைய உண்மை உம்மைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிறது.

⁹You rule the pride of the sea. When its waves rise up, you calm them.

⁹தேவரீர் சமுத்திரத்தின் பெருமையை ஆளுகிறவர்; அதின் அலைகள் எழும்பும்போது அவைகளை அடங்கப்பண்ணுகிறீர்.

¹⁰You have broken Rahab in pieces, like one of the slain. You have scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.

¹⁰நீர் ராகாபை வெட்டுண்ட ஒருவனைப்போல் நொறுக்கினீர்; உமது வல்லமையான புயத்தினால் உம்முடைய சத்துருக்களைச் சிதறடித்தீர்.

¹¹The heavens are yours. The earth also is yours; the world and its fullness. You have founded them.

¹¹வானங்கள் உம்முடையது, பூமியும் உம்முடையது, பூலோகத்தையும் அதிலுள்ள யாவரையும் நீரே அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தினீர்.

¹²The north and the south, you have created them. Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your name.

¹²வடக்கையும் தெற்கையும் நீர் உண்டாக்கினீர்; தாபோரும் எர்மோனும் உம்முடைய நாமம் விளங்கக் கெம்பீரிக்கும்.

¹³You have a mighty arm. Your hand is strong, and your right hand is exalted.

¹³உமக்கு வல்லமையுள்ள புயமிருக்கிறது; உம்முடைய கரம் பராக்கிரமமுள்ளது; உம்முடைய வலதுகரம் உன்னதமானது.

¹⁴Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Loving kindness and truth go before your face.

¹⁴நீதியும் நியாயமும் உம்முடைய சிங்காசனத்தின் ஆதாரம்; கிருபையும் சத்தியமும் உமக்கு முன்பாக நடக்கும்.

¹⁵Blessed are the people who learn to acclaim you. They walk in the light of your presence, Yahweh.

¹⁵கெம்பீரசத்தத்தை அறியும் ஜனங்கள் பாக்கியமுள்ளவர்கள்; கர்த்தாவே, அவர்கள் உம்முடைய முகத்தின் வெளிச்சத்தில் நடப்பார்கள்.

¹⁶In your name they rejoice all day. In your righteousness, they are exalted.

¹⁷For you are the glory of their strength. In your favor, our horn will be exalted.

¹⁸For our shield belongs to Yahweh; our king to the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁹Then you spoke in vision to your saints, and said, “I have bestowed strength on the warrior. I have exalted a young man from the people.

¹⁹அப்பொழுது நீர் உம்முடைய பக்தனுக்குத் தரிசனமாகி: சகாயஞ்செய்யத்தக்க சக்தியை ஒரு சவுரியவான்மேல் வைத்து, ஜனத்தில் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவனை உயர்த்தினேன்.

²⁰I have found David, my servant. I have anointed him with my holy oil,

²⁰என் தாசனாகிய தாவீதைக் கண்டுபிடித்தேன்; என் பரிசுத்த தைலத்தினால் அவனை அபிஷேகம் பண்ணினேன்.

²¹with whom my hand shall be established. My arm will also strengthen him.

²¹என் கை அவனோடே உறுதியாயிருக்கும்; என் புயம் அவனைப் பலப்படுத்தும்.

²²No enemy will tax him. No wicked man will oppress him.

²²சத்துரு அவனை நெருக்குவதில்லை; நியாயக்கேட்டின் மகன் அவனை ஒடுக்குவதில்லை.

²³I will beat down his adversaries before him, and strike those who hate him.

²³அவன் சத்துருக்களை அவனுக்கு முன்பாக மடங்கடித்து, அவனைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களை வெட்டுவேன்.

²⁴But my faithfulness and my loving kindness will be with him. In my name, his horn will be exalted.

²⁵I will set his hand also on the sea, and his right hand on the rivers.

²⁶He will call to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation!’

²⁷I will also appoint him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.

²⁸I will keep my loving kindness for him forevermore. My covenant will stand firm with him.

²⁹I will also make his seed endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

³⁰If his children forsake my law, and don’t walk in my ordinances;

³¹if they break my statutes, and don’t keep my commandments;

³¹என் கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளாமல் என் நியமங்களை மீறி நடந்தால்;

³²then I will punish their sin with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

³³But I will not completely take my loving kindness from him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail.

³⁴I will not break my covenant, nor alter what my lips have uttered.

³⁵Once have I sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David.

³⁶His seed will endure forever, his throne like the sun before me.

³⁶அவன் சந்ததி என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கும்; அவன் சிங்காசனம் சூரியனைப்போல எனக்கு முன்பாக நிலைநிற்கும்.

³⁷It will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah.

³⁷சந்திரனைப்போல அது என்றென்றைக்கும் உறுதியாயும், ஆகாயமண்டலத்துச் சாட்சியைப்போல் உண்மையாயும் இருக்கும் என்று விளம்பினீர். (சேலா)

³⁸But you have rejected and spurned. You have been angry with your anointed.

³⁸ஆனாலும் நீர் எங்களை வெறுத்துத் தள்ளிவிட்டீர்; நீர் அபிஷேகம்பண்ணுவித்தவன்மேல் உக்கிரமானீர்.

³⁹You have renounced the covenant of your servant. You have defiled his crown in the dust.

³⁹உமது அடியானுடன் நீர் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையை ஒழித்துவிட்டு, அவன் கிரீடத்தைத் தரையிலே தள்ளி அவமானப்படுத்தினீர்.

⁴⁰You have broken down all his hedges. You have brought his strongholds to ruin.

⁴⁰அவன் மதில்களையெல்லாம் தகர்த்துப்போட்டு, அவன் அரணான ஸ்தலங்களைப் பாழாக்கினீர்.

⁴¹All who pass by the way rob him. He has become a reproach to his neighbors.

⁴¹வழிநடக்கிற யாவரும் அவனைக் கொள்ளையிடுகிறார்கள்; தன் அயலாருக்கு நிந்தையானான்.

⁴²You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries. You have made all of his enemies rejoice.

⁴²அவன் சத்துருக்களின் வலது கையை நீர் உயர்த்தி, அவன் விரோதிகள் யாவரும் சந்தோஷிக்கும்படி செய்தீர்.

⁴³Yes, you turn back the edge of his sword, and haven’t supported him in battle.

⁴⁴You have ended his splendor, and thrown his throne down to the ground.

⁴⁵You have shortened the days of his youth. You have covered him with shame. Selah.

⁴⁶How long, Yahweh? Will you hide yourself forever? Will your wrath burn like fire?

⁴⁶எதுவரைக்கும், கர்த்தாவே! நீர் என்றைக்கும் மறைந்திருப்பீரோ? உமது கோபம் அக்கினியைப்போல எரியுமோ?

⁴⁷Remember how short my time is! For what vanity have you created all the children of men!

⁴⁸What man is he who shall live and not see death, who shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol Sheol is the place of the dead. ? Selah.

⁴⁸மரணத்தைக் காணாமல் உயிரோடிருப்பவன் யார்? தன் ஆத்துமாவைப் பாதாள வல்லடிக்கு விலக்கிவிடுகிறவன் யார்? (சேலா)

⁴⁹Lord, where are your former loving kindnesses, which you swore to David in your faithfulness?

⁴⁹ஆண்டவரே, நீர் தாவீதுக்கு உம்முடைய உண்மையைக்கொண்டு சத்தியம்பண்ணின உமது பூர்வ கிருபைகள் எங்கே?

⁵⁰Remember, Lord, the reproach of your servants, how I bear in my heart the taunts of all the mighty peoples,

⁵⁰ஆண்டவரே, உம்முடைய சத்துருக்கள் உம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரையும், நீர் அபிஷேகம் பண்ணினவனின் காலடிகளையும் நிந்திக்கிறபடியினால்,

⁵¹With which your enemies have mocked, Yahweh, with which they have mocked the footsteps of your anointed one.

⁵¹கர்த்தாவே, உமது அடியார் சுமக்கும் நிந்தையையும், வலுமையான ஜனங்களெல்லாராலும் நான் என் மடியில் சுமக்கும் என் நிந்தையையும் நினைத்தருளும்.
