¹The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

¹พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าว่า

²Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, and drop your word toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the land of Israel;

²"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงมุ่งหน้าของเจ้าต่อสู้เยรูซาเล็ม และเทศนากล่าวโทษสถานบริสุทธิ์ทั้งหลาย จงพยากรณ์กล่าวโทษแผ่นดินอิสราเอล

³and tell the land of Israel, Thus says Yahweh: Behold, I am against you, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked.

³และกล่าวแก่แผ่นดินอิสราเอลว่า พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด เราเป็นปฏิปักษ์กับเจ้า และเราจะชักดาบของเราออกจากฝัก และเราจะขจัดทั้งคนชอบธรรมและคนชั่วออกจากเจ้าเสีย

⁴Seeing then that I will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:

⁴ดังนั้นจงดูเถิดว่าเราจะตัดเอาทั้งคนชอบธรรมและคนชั่วออกจากเจ้าเสีย เพราะฉะนั้นดาบของเราจะออกจากฝักไปต่อสู้เนื้อหนังทั้งสิ้นจากทิศใต้ถึงทิศเหนือ

⁵and all flesh shall know that I, Yahweh, have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath; it shall not return any more.

⁵เพื่อเนื้อหนังทั้งสิ้นจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ชักดาบของเราออกจากฝักแล้ว และจะไม่เก็บใส่ฝักอีก

⁶Sigh therefore, you son of man; with the breaking of your thighs and with bitterness you will sigh before their eyes.

⁶บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย เพราะฉะนั้นจงถอนหายใจ ถอนหายใจด้วยความระทมใจและความขมขื่นต่อหน้าต่อตาเขาทั้งหลาย

⁷It shall be, when they tell you, Why do you sigh? that you shall say, Because of the news, for it comes; and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it comes, and it shall be done, says the Lord Yahweh.

⁷และเมื่อเขาทั้งหลายกล่าวแก่เจ้าว่า `ทำไมเจ้าถอนหายใจ' เจ้าจงกล่าวว่า `เพราะเรื่องข่าวนั้น เมื่อข่าวนั้นมาถึงหัวใจทุกดวงจะละลายและมือทั้งสิ้นจะอ่อนเปลี้ยไป และบรรดาจิตวิญญาณจะแน่นิ่งไป และหัวเข่าทุกเข่าจะอ่อนเปลี้ยดั่งน้ำ ดูเถิด ข่าวนั้นมาถึงและจะสำเร็จ' องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ"

⁸The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

⁸พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าอีกว่า

⁹Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus says Yahweh: Say, A sword, a sword, it is sharpened, and also furbished;

⁹"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงพยากรณ์และกล่าวว่า พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดาบเล่มหนึ่ง ดาบเล่มหนึ่งซึ่งเขาลับให้คม และขัดมันด้วย

¹⁰it is sharpened that it may make a slaughter; it is furbished that it may be as lightning: shall we then make mirth? the rod of my son, it condemns every tree.

¹⁰ลับให้คมเพื่อจะเข่นฆ่า ขัดมันไว้เพื่อจะให้วาววับ เราจะร่าเริงหรือ ดาบนั้นได้ประมาททัณฑกรแห่งบุตรชายของเรา เหมือนต้นไม้ทุกอย่าง

¹¹It is given to be furbished, that it may be handled: the sword, it is sharpened, yes, it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the killer.

¹¹เพราะฉะนั้นจึงมอบดาบให้ขัดมัน เพื่อจะถือไว้ได้ ดาบนั้นคมแล้วและขัดมัน เพื่อจะมอบไว้ในมือของผู้ฆ่า

¹²Cry and wail, son of man; for it is on my people, it is on all the princes of Israel: they are delivered over to the sword with my people; strike therefore on your thigh.

¹²บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงร้องไห้และคร่ำครวญเถิด เพราะเป็นเรื่องต่อสู้กับประชาชนของเรา และต่อสู้กับบรรดาเจ้านายของอิสราเอล ความหวาดผวาเพราะเหตุดาบนั้นจะอยู่เหนือประชาชนของเรา เพราะฉะนั้นจงตีที่โคนขาของเจ้าเถิด

¹³For there is a trial; and what if even the rod that condemns shall be no more? says the Lord Yahweh.

¹³เพราะมีการทดลอง และอะไรเล่าถ้าดาบได้ดูหมิ่นทัณฑกรนั้น ก็จะไม่มีอีก องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้

¹⁴You therefore, son of man, prophesy, and strike your hands together; and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the deadly wounded: it is the sword of the great one who is deadly wounded, which enters into their rooms.

¹⁴บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย เพราะฉะนั้นจงพยากรณ์เถิด จงตบมือและปล่อยให้ดาบลงมาสองครั้ง เออ สามครั้ง คือดาบสำหรับคนเหล่านั้นที่จะถูกฆ่า เป็นดาบของพวกผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ที่ถูกฆ่า ซึ่งได้เข้าไปในห้องส่วนตัว

¹⁵I have set the threatening sword against all their gates, that their heart may melt, and their stumblings be multiplied: ah! it is made as lightning, it is pointed for slaughter.

¹⁵เพื่อว่าใจของเขาจะละลาย และเพื่อซากปรักหักพังของเขาจะทวีคูณขึ้นอีก เราได้จ่อดาบนั้นไปที่ประตูเมืองทั้งหลายของเขาแล้ว เออ ทำเสียเหมือนอย่างกับฟ้าแลบ เขาขัดมันเพื่อจะเข่นฆ่า

¹⁶Gather yourselves together, go to the right, set yourselves in array, go to the left, wherever your face is set.

¹⁶รวมกันเข้ามา ไปทางขวาเรียงแถว แล้วไปทางซ้าย ไม่ว่าหน้าของเจ้ามุ่งไปทางไหน

¹⁷I will also strike my hands together, and I will cause my wrath to rest: I, Yahweh, have spoken it.

¹⁷เราจะตบมือของเราด้วย และเราจะระบายความโกรธของเราจนหมด เราคือพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ลั่นวาจาแล้ว"

¹⁸The word of Yahweh came to me again, saying,

¹⁸พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าอีกว่า

¹⁹Also, you son of man, appoint two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come; they both shall come forth out of one land: and mark out a place, mark it out at the head of the way to the city.

¹⁹"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงขีดทางไว้สองทางให้ดาบแห่งกษัตริย์บาบิโลนเข้ามา ทั้งสองทางให้ออกมาจากแผ่นดินเดียวกัน และจงทำป้ายบอกทาง จงทำไว้ที่หัวถนนที่เข้าไปหากรุง

²⁰You shall appoint a way for the sword to come to Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and to Judah in Jerusalem the fortified.

²⁰ทำทางหนึ่งให้ดาบมายังรับบาห์แห่งคนอัมโมน และมายังยูดาห์ในเยรูซาเล็มเมืองที่มีกำแพง

²¹For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he shook the arrows back and forth, he consulted the teraphim, he looked in the liver.

²¹เพราะว่ากษัตริย์บาบิโลนยืนอยู่ที่ทางแพร่ง อยู่ที่หัวถนนสองถนน กำหนดหาคำทำนาย ท่านเขย่าลูกธนู และปรึกษาเทราฟิม ท่านมองดูที่ตับ

²²In his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to set battering rams, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to set battering rams against the gates, to cast up mounds, to build forts.

²²ในมือข้างขวา ท่านมีสลากเยรูซาเล็ม เพื่อตั้งเครื่องทะลวง เพื่อจะให้อ้าปากในการฆ่า เพื่อส่งเสียงตะโกน เพื่อวางเครื่องทะลวงกำแพงเข้าที่ประตูเมือง เพื่อก่อเชิงเทินและก่อกำแพงล้อม

²³It shall be to them as a false divination in their sight, who have sworn oaths to them; but he brings iniquity to memory, that they may be taken.

²³และจะเป็นเหมือนคำทำนายเท็จสำหรับคนเหล่านั้นในสายตาของเขา คือคนเหล่านั้นที่ให้สัตย์ปฏิญาณแล้ว แต่ท่านจะระลึกถึงความชั่วช้า เพื่อเขาทั้งหลายจะถูกจับเอาไป

²⁴Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that in all your doings your sins appear; because you have come to memory, you shall be taken with the hand.

²⁴เพราะฉะนั้น องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เพราะว่าเจ้าได้กระทำความชั่วช้าของเจ้าให้เราระลึกได้ โดยการละเมิดของเจ้าที่เผยออก จนบาปของเจ้าปรากฏในการกระทำทั้งสิ้นของเจ้า เราได้ระลึกถึงเจ้า เจ้าจึงต้องถูกจับเอาไปด้วยมือ

²⁵You, deadly wounded wicked one, the prince of Israel, whose day has come, in the time of the iniquity of the end,

²⁵และเจ้า โอ ผู้ชั่วที่ลามกคือเจ้านายอิสราเอลเอ๋ย ผู้ที่วันกำหนดมาถึงแล้ว คือเวลาแห่งการลงโทษความชั่วช้าครั้งสุดท้าย

²⁶thus says the Lord Yahweh: Remove the turban, and take off the crown; this shall be no more the same; exalt that which is low, and abase that which is high.

²⁶องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า จงปลดผ้าโพก และถอดมงกุฎออกเสีย สิ่งต่างๆจะไม่คงอยู่อย่างที่เคยเป็น ให้ยกย่องคนที่ต่ำขึ้น และให้กดคนที่สูงลง

²⁷I will overturn, overturn, overturn it: this also shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.

²⁷เราจะกระทำให้เป็นที่พังทลาย พังทลาย พังทลาย และจะไม่มีเลยจนกว่าผู้มีสิทธิ์อันชอบธรรมจะมาถึง และเราจะประทานให้แก่ท่านผู้นั้น

²⁸You, son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach; and say, A sword, a sword is drawn, for the slaughter it is furbished, to cause it to devour, that it may be as lightning;

²⁸บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย และเจ้าจงพยากรณ์และกล่าวว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้เกี่ยวกับคนอัมโมน และเกี่ยวกับเรื่องน่าตำหนิของเขาทั้งหลายว่า ดาบเล่มหนึ่ง ดาบเล่มหนึ่งถูกชักออก เขาขัดมันเพื่อการเข่นฆ่า เขาให้มันดื่มโลหิตเพราะมันวาววับ

²⁹while they see for you false visions, while they divine lies to you, to lay you on the necks of the wicked who are deadly wounded, whose day has come in the time of the iniquity of the end.

²⁹ขณะเมื่อเขาเห็นนิมิตเท็จมาบอกท่าน ขณะเมื่อเขาให้คำทำนายมุสาแก่ท่าน เพื่อจะวางท่านไว้บนคอของผู้ชั่วที่ถูกฆ่า เวลากำหนดของเขามาถึงแล้ว คือเวลาแห่งการลงโทษความชั่วช้าครั้งสุดท้าย

³⁰Cause it to return into its sheath. In the place where you were created, in the land of your birth, will I judge you.

³⁰เราจะให้ดาบกลับเข้าฝักอีกหรือ เราจะพิพากษาเจ้าในสถานที่ที่เจ้าถูกสร้างขึ้น ในแผ่นดินดั้งเดิมของเจ้า

³¹I will pour out my indignation on you; I will blow on you with the fire of my wrath; and I will deliver you into the hand of brutish men, skillful to destroy.

³¹เราจะเทความกริ้วของเราเหนือเจ้า และเราจะพ่นเจ้าด้วยไฟแห่งความพิโรธของเรา และเราจะมอบเจ้าไว้ในมือของคนเขลา ผู้มีฝีมือในการทำลาย

³²You shall be for fuel to the fire; your blood shall be in the midst of the land; you shall be remembered no more: for I, Yahweh, have spoken it.

³²เจ้าจะเป็นฟืนไว้ใส่ไฟ โลหิตของเจ้าจะอยู่กลางแผ่นดิน จะไม่มีใครจดจำเจ้าไว้อีก เพราะเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ลั่นวาจาแล้ว"
