¹Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

¹พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าอีกว่า

²You, son of man, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city? then cause her to know all her abominations.

²"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย ตัวเจ้าจะพิพากษาหรือ เจ้าจะพิพากษาเมืองที่แปดเปื้อนด้วยโลหิตนั้นหรือ เจ้าจงสำแดงให้เมืองนั้นเห็นสิ่งที่น่าสะอิดสะเอียนทั้งสิ้นของเธอ

³You shall say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: A city that sheds blood in the midst of her, that her time may come, and that makes idols against herself to defile her!

³เจ้าจงกล่าวว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า นี่เป็นเมืองที่ทำให้โลหิตตกอยู่ที่กลางตนเองเพื่อให้เวลากำหนดของตนมาถึง และเป็นเมืองที่ทำรูปเคารพไว้ให้ตัวมลทินไป

⁴You have become guilty in your blood that you have shed, and are defiled in your idols which you have made; and you have caused your days to draw near, and have come even to your years: therefore have I made you a reproach to the nations, and a mocking to all the countries.

⁴เจ้ามีความชั่วด้วยโลหิตที่เจ้ากระทำให้ตกนั้น และมลทินไปด้วยรูปเคารพที่เจ้ากระทำไว้ และเจ้าได้นำให้เวลาของเจ้าเข้ามาใกล้ เวลากำหนดแห่งปีของเจ้ามาถึงแล้ว เพราะฉะนั้นเราจึงกระทำเจ้าให้เป็นที่ประณามกันแก่ประชาชาติ และเป็นที่เย้ยหยันแก่ประเทศทั้งหลาย

⁵Those who are near, and those who are far from you, shall mock you, you infamous one and full of tumult.

⁵ผู้ที่อยู่ใกล้และที่อยู่ไกลเจ้าจะเย้ยหยันเจ้า ผู้เป็นเมืองที่เสียชื่อและเต็มด้วยความโกลาหล

⁶Behold, the princes of Israel, everyone according to his power, have been in you to shed blood.

⁶ดูเถิด เจ้านายแห่งอิสราเอล ทุกคนซึ่งอยู่ในเจ้าก็โน้มไปในทางที่ทำให้โลหิตตกตามอำนาจของเขา

⁷In you have they set light by father and mother; in the midst of you have they dealt by oppression with the foreigner; in you have they wronged the fatherless and the widow.

⁷บิดามารดาถูกเหยียดหยามอยู่ในเจ้า คนต่างด้าวที่อาศัยอยู่ก็ถูกเบียดเบียนอยู่ท่ามกลางเจ้า ลูกกำพร้าพ่อและหญิงม่ายก็ถูกข่มเหงอยู่ในเจ้า

⁸You have despised my holy things, and have profaned my Sabbaths.

⁸เจ้าได้ดูหมิ่นสิ่งบริสุทธิ์ของเรา และลบหลู่วันสะบาโตทั้งหลายของเรา

⁹Slanderous men have been in you to shed blood; and in you they have eaten on the mountains: in the midst of you they have committed lewdness.

⁹ในเจ้ามีคนกล่าวร้ายเพื่อจะทำให้โลหิตตก และมีคนในเจ้าที่รับประทานบนภูเขา มีคนกระทำอุจาดลามกท่ามกลางเจ้า

¹⁰In you have they uncovered their fathers’ nakedness; in you have they humbled her who was unclean in her impurity.

¹⁰ในเจ้ามีชายบางคนได้เห็นความเปลือยของบิดาเขา ในเจ้ามีคนที่กระทำหยามเกียรติผู้หญิงที่ยังมีมลทินเพราะมีประจำเดือน

¹¹One has committed abomination with his neighbor’s wife; and another has lewdly defiled his daughter-in-law; and another in you has humbled his sister, his father’s daughter.

¹¹คนหนึ่งกระทำการอันน่าสะอิดสะเอียนกับภรรยาของเพื่อนบ้าน อีกคนหนึ่งกระทำให้ลูกสะใภ้ของตนเป็นมลทินอย่างชั่วช้าลามก และอีกคนหนึ่งในพวกเจ้ากระทำหยามเกียรติน้องสาวของเขาเอง คือลูกสาวของบิดาของตน

¹²In you have they taken bribes to shed blood; you have taken interest and increase, and you have greedily gained of your neighbors by oppression, and have forgotten me, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹²ในเจ้ามีคนรับสินบนเพื่อกระทำให้โลหิตตก เจ้าเอาดอกเบี้ยและเอาเงินเพิ่มและทำกำไรจากเพื่อนบ้านของเจ้าโดยการบีบบังคับ และเจ้าได้ลืมเราเสีย องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ

¹³Behold, therefore, I have struck my hand at your dishonest gain which you have made, and at your blood which has been in the midst of you.

¹³ดูเถิด เพราะฉะนั้นเราได้ฟาดมือของเราลงบนผลกำไรอธรรมที่เจ้าได้ และลงบนโลหิตที่อยู่ในหมู่พวกเจ้าทั้งหลาย

¹⁴Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with you? I, Yahweh, have spoken it, and will do it.

¹⁴ใจเจ้าจะทนได้หรือ และมือของเจ้าจะแข็งแรงอยู่หรือ ในวันที่เราจะเอาเรื่องกับเจ้า เราคือพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ลั่นวาจาแล้ว และเราจะกระทำ

¹⁵I will scatter you among the nations, and disperse you through the countries; and I will consume your filthiness out of you.

¹⁵เราจะให้เจ้ากระจัดกระจายไปในหมู่ประชาชาติ และกระจายเข้าไปตามประเทศต่างๆ และเราจะเผาเอาความโสโครกออกจากเจ้าเสีย

¹⁶You shall be profaned in yourself, in the sight of the nations; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

¹⁶เจ้าจะได้มรดกของเจ้าเพราะตัวเจ้าเองท่ามกลางสายตาของประชาชาติ และเจ้าจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์"

¹⁷The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

¹⁷และพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าว่า

¹⁸Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me: all of them are brass and tin and iron and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are the dross of silver.

¹⁸"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย สำหรับเราวงศ์วานอิสราเอลกลายเป็นขี้โลหะ เขาทั้งสิ้นเป็นทองสัมฤทธิ์ ดีบุก เหล็ก และตะกั่วในเตาหลอม เขาเป็นขี้โลหะเงินไปหมด

¹⁹Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have all become dross, therefore, behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.

¹⁹เพราะฉะนั้น องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เพราะว่าเจ้าเป็นขี้โลหะไปเสียทั้งสิ้นแล้ว เพราะฉะนั้น ดูเถิด เราจะรวบรวมเจ้าไว้ท่ามกลางเยรูซาเล็ม

²⁰As they gather silver and brass and iron and lead and tin into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire on it, to melt it; so will I gather you in my anger and in my wrath, and I will lay you there, and melt you.

²⁰อย่างที่คนเขารวบรวมเงิน ทองสัมฤทธิ์และเหล็ก และตะกั่วและดีบุกไว้ในเตาหลอม เพื่อเอาไฟพ่นรดให้มันละลาย ดังนั้นเราจะรวบรวมเจ้าด้วยความกริ้วและด้วยความพิโรธของเรา และเราจะใส่เจ้ารวมไว้ให้เจ้าละลาย

²¹Yes, I will gather you, and blow on you with the fire of my wrath, and you shall be melted in its midst.

²¹เราจะรวบรวมเจ้า และเอาเพลิงแห่งความพิโรธของเราพ่นเจ้า และเจ้าจะละลายอยู่ท่ามกลางนั้น

²²As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so you will be melted in its midst; and you will know that I, Yahweh, have poured out my wrath on you.

²²เงินละลายอยู่ในเตาหลอมฉันใด เจ้าทั้งหลายจะละลายอยู่ท่ามกลางเพลิงฉันนั้น และเจ้าจะทราบว่า เราคือพระเยโฮวาห์ได้เทความกริ้วของเราลงเหนือเจ้า"

²³The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

²³และพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าว่า

²⁴Son of man, tell her, You are a land that is not cleansed, nor rained on in the day of indignation.

²⁴"บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย จงพูดกับแผ่นดินนั้นว่า เจ้าเป็นแผ่นดินที่ไม่ได้รับการชำระ หรือฝนมิได้ชะในวันพิโรธ

²⁵There is a conspiracy of her prophets in its midst, like a roaring lion ravening the prey: they have devoured souls; they take treasure and precious things; they have made her widows many in its midst.

²⁵มีการวางแผนร้ายระหว่างพวกผู้พยากรณ์ท่ามกลางแผ่นดินนั้น เป็นเหมือนสิงโตคำรามฉีกเหยื่ออยู่ เขาทั้งหลายกินชีวิตมนุษย์ เขาริบทรัพย์สมบัติและสิ่งประเสริฐไป เขาได้กระทำให้เกิดหญิงม่ายมีขึ้นมากมายท่ามกลางแผ่นดินนั้น

²⁶Her priests have done violence to my law, and have profaned my holy things: they have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they caused men to discern between the unclean and the clean, and have hidden their eyes from my Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

²⁶ปุโรหิตของเขาได้ละเมิดราชบัญญัติของเรา และได้ลบหลู่สิ่งบริสุทธิ์ของเรา เขามิได้แยกแยะความแตกต่างระหว่างสิ่งที่บริสุทธิ์และสิ่งสามัญ เขามิได้แสดงให้เห็นความแตกต่างระหว่างของมลทินและของสะอาด เขาได้ซ่อนนัยน์ตาของเขาไว้จากวันสะบาโตของเรา ดังนั้นแหละเราจึงถูกลบหลู่ท่ามกลางเขาทั้งหลาย

²⁷Her princes in its midst are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, that they may get dishonest gain.

²⁷เจ้านายในท่ามกลางแผ่นดินเป็นเหมือนสุนัขป่าที่ฉีกเหยื่อ ทำให้โลหิตตก ทำลายชีวิตเพื่อจะเอากำไรที่อสัตย์

²⁸Her prophets have plastered for them with whitewash, seeing false visions, and divining lies to them, saying, Thus says the Lord Yahweh, when Yahweh has not spoken.

²⁸และผู้พยากรณ์ของแผ่นดินนั้นก็ฉาบด้วยปูนขาว ให้เขาเห็นนิมิตเท็จ และให้คำทำนายมุสาแก่เขา โดยกล่าวว่า `องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้' ในเมื่อพระเยโฮวาห์มิได้ตรัสเลย

²⁹The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery; yes, they have troubled the poor and needy, and have oppressed the foreigner wrongfully.

²⁹ประชาชนแห่งแผ่นดินกระทำการบีบคั้นและกระทำโจรกรรม เออ เขาบีบบังคับคนยากจนและคนขัดสน และบีบคั้นคนต่างด้าวอย่างอยุติธรรม

³⁰I sought for a man among them, who should build up the wall, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none.

³⁰และเราก็แสวงหาสักคนหนึ่งในพวกเขาซึ่งจะสร้างรั้วต้นไม้และยืนอยู่ในช่องโหว่ต่อหน้าเราเพื่อแผ่นดินนั้น เพื่อเราจะมิได้ทำลายมันเสีย แต่ก็หาไม่ได้สักคนเดียว

³¹Therefore have I poured out my indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I brought on their heads, says the Lord Yahweh.

³¹ฉะนั้นเราจึงเทความกริ้วของเราลงเหนือเขา เราได้เผาผลาญเขาด้วยเพลิงพิโรธของเรา เราได้ตอบสนองตามการประพฤติของเขาเหนือศีรษะเขา องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ"
